Sadly, I lost my huusk knife - that first one I bought. I never had second thought of getting another one, it is really worth it. It's convenient and it is of excellent quality.

We ordered this knife for our son. They messed up the order and did not send it, so our son believed that we forgot to send him a Christmas present. Going back to the company with the order mess, we found out that theses knives come from a China not Japan. Tricked once …will never get tricked again.

The website was very deceptive. I called customer service 5 minutes after I found out that I was being charged for 4. They said that they would cancel the order. I got an email the next day saying they couldn't cancel the order.

Ik wilde dit mes vooral voor het uitbenen, iets wat niet alle messen goed kunnen. Door de grootte en vorm van het lemmet glijdt het precies waar ik het nodig heb en het is gemakkelijk te slijpen. Het gat voor je vinger is eigenlijk heel leuk, ik wist niet zeker wat ik ervan zou vinden, maar het helpt om het mes volledig onder controle te houden en je snedes fijn af te stellen.

I got my huusk last year and so far, so good. Still works as expected and quality is still great. I keep it in the leather sheath it came in with.

This short, highly curved knife is not really a "butcher" knife, it's a hunter's knife for field dressing. The leather holster makes this pretty obvious. That specific search phrase probably doesn't get as many results so I can see why they gave it the name they did. It's a neat little knife for some specific purposes.
