Placed an order for some flashlights on Tues & paid by Mastercard, not PayPal. Got a call the next afternoon from Citibank Fraud Dept asking if I tried to use my card at PayPal for a $100 transaction that was declined. I did not. Checked my cc account online and saw 6 separate $15 charges to a landscape company in Oakland, CA. I did not make these charges either. Gearbest.com was the only place I used this card recently.
Citibank account has been closed. If I could just cancel the Gearbest.com order, then I would. After reading about all the defective merchandise this company sends out, I don't even want to deal with them. Should have done my research before ordering from them. You have now been warned...
I ordered a sport Cam (Soocoo F23) for a lower price than Go Pro, and I'm really satisfied with it.
Gearbest sent it quickly and I received it 10 days after my order.
Quality is the best for the price I paid.
I purchased a tablet from them on March 17. Tablet delivered on April 11th. Tablet had a row of dead pixel. Customer service first tried to claim than more than 45 day have passed, where less than 30 days passed from purchase to claim. Then customer service offered me to return the item, which is fair, and they will quote "refund back to your GB wallet." which means that they will not return the money but rather give me credit for future purchase. This is a complete contradiction to their 45 days warranty. Had no choice but to open a Paypal dispute

Issue was finally settled. Gearbest, offered me a 60$ (25% of the tablet price)
Refund to my Paypal account, which I will use to try and fix the screen locally. Anyway, I was contacted by Pepper from customer service. She claims that "For the refund on Gearbest, we can offer both refund in payment account and GB wallet.". I will have to let other customers to check for it...

I ordered a few goods on this website and I have never had any problem with it
1/ all stuffs are genuine. Nothing was fake. Very happy with the quality of these products
2/ I received all the products. Although the shipping of the first product was a bit slow because of the peak season but still received it. The second one was very very fast (2 weeks)
Conclusion: highly recommended
After posting a poor review on this site I received an offer of getting my $15.30 expedited shipping charge refunded. I received my watch today, April 16,2016, which was almost a month after ordering. I'm happy to receive my watch, but still not convinced of this business' ethics. They haven't posted my refund yet, so this may be a premature update, but at least I received the item I ordered, so we'll see.

This is a scam! They stole from my 10 year old. Charged me twice for the same items, then didn't get any of it. They tried claiming I put in the wrong address, so therefore would not honor anything. The address was NOT wrong! That is just how they get away with stealing from hard working people! BEWARE!
Whatever you do, do not trust this company with your money. I bought a product for $500 off their website. After I didn't get it months later I contacted them and they told me I should've recived it. A while after I figured out that I accidentally put in the wrong city that I wanted it shipped to and asked for them to ship out my product again or give me my money back. They refused and only offered me a 10% discount for my next purchase which was defiantly not sufficient since I just gave them $500 and I didn't get my product. I contacted the shipping agent (UPS) and they told me that it was sent back to the company since the address was non existent. The company still refuses to give me my product which I payed for and refuses to return my money. This is very illegal and I need my money back or product as soon as possible. THIS IS A SCAM. THEY STOLE $500 FROM ME AND REFUSE TO RETURN IT

This review was written 3 months after all disputes (there were 5 actually) were closed by gearbest and paypal in gearbest favour. I tryed one more time to figure it out by opening another dispute on my gearbest account but it didn't work out again. Then I go to google find jabber and wrote a review. Next day gearbest ask if there is something they may do for me. For 3 months I dispute with them with no result. I told them they may keep my money, and may they never bother my again. They found out my order number and refund my for my item 41.99 $ (not for the shipping back to China). And wrote me email that usualy they dont do that but as long as it was my first (and the last) time on gearbest they are "so kind" that refund me a price of the item. I haven't had a single issue when ordering from gearbest. Everything came in the timeframe they set, nothing was missing or damaged. The prices are very good and they have free shipping.
Thanks to Sitejabber and the BBB, they finally admitted that they did receive the DOA cell phone and some how it got into their warehouse. PayPay advised that they have received a credit for my acct of 83.99$US, the purchase price, from GearBest. However I am still out the return shipping cost of 31.95$US, and 5months of frustration and wasted time and effort. I guess you may say I just paid to get educated, and education cost no matter how you get it.

Two months after placing my order and paying a very respectable amount for some staff, they haven't arrived and they keep making fun of me sending emails to be patient, trying to gain time and this is not their fault. Of course they don't answer anything on my requests for refund. Please take into consideration that I have also paid for an expedited shipping (2-5 business days) so that the items arrive sooner. Totally a scam, avoid them

So, after giving these hucksters one star ten days ago and getting a grovelling reply, the item has still not arrived. They sent me new tracking info (unrelated to the previous info) which, effectively, tracked my my item to somewhere in the world, but nowhere specific. Nor was there any indication of when - if ever - I might receive it. So I decided it was time to cancel the order and face up to the doubtless endless struggle to get my refund. Except I can no longer login to their site using my email address and the password they gave me, so I cannot pin my request to my order. So I am in the same limbo I have been in since I ordered from these thieves over three weeks ago. AVOID THEM LIKER THE PLAGUE!

I got my products but one was not what they promised and one broke after a few seconds of use. They still continue to use wrong information on their website even though they admitted to me that it is not correct. Answer: Dont really matter mate, regardless, what they do if does not arrive, they will not refund, they offer to resend at your cost. Then you do Paypal dispute, they refuse to refund unless you close the case, if you close the case, Paypal will not help. In my circumstances Paypal decided in my favour and refunded, but dragged on, avoid this company in future, Bangood better

Answer: I would advise you to stear clear. If the site does not let you order with free shipping then you have dodged a bullet. I got free shipping but the product was damaged an only fit for resting your cup on they offered a refund less the first shipping that was ment to be free or a replacement. As it cost 25 pounds to send back to resolve the matter I chose to except the replacement it came and was just as bad a tablet as the first. Take my advice and run a mile.
