I have sold my old iPhones to Gazelle 2 times in the past. I didnt have any problems the first time. The second time they tried to reduce the offer claiming the phone had scratches but immediately paid the full amount when I called to complain. So I decided to use their service again. BIG MISTAKE!
I received an offer of $85.00 for my Sprint iPhone 6s 16gb. I sent it in and they emailed saying the screen was cracked, the phone had scratches and it wasnt a Sprint phone so they adjusted my offer to $45.00. I emailed and contacted customer service letting them know I have pictures of my phone as I put it in their box and it had no damage at all. Also that it was a Sprint phone because I always buy my phones through my wireless provider-Sprint. They checked the device again and determined the device was a Sprint device but would only be giving me $30.00 because the phone has damage. I again called customer service and requested a supervisor because if the phone is damaged it occurred during transport in the box they provided so we would need to file a claim with the post office. The manager then told me since Im a repeat customer they would pay the $85.00 they originally offered and we wouldnt need to file a claim with the post office... it sounds to me like Gazelle is starting to get shady. They offer one amount and then when they have your device in their possession they cite damages and reduce the offer. Just offer what you are willing to pay for the device and let the customer decide if they want to accept it instead of sinking to these bait and switch tactics. Whenever I purchase a phone I immediately buy a case and a screen protector. When its time to upgrade and trade in the phone or in this instance prepare to send it to Gazelle the phone looks brand new when I take the case and screen protector off. I would not waste anyones time including my own... sending a cracked, scratched phone. Beware of Gazelle!
The entire transaction was seamless from beginning to end. I had to contact customer service this time around, & had a wonderful experience with this as well..
I recently sent them 2 old iPads. One had an issue, but it was quickly and Kindly corrected. I would highly recommend Gazelle to anyone.
Easy peasy to use, just tell them what you have to sell and you get the packing materials right away. Pack your item, send it back and within days you have your money! I always take it as an Amazon gift card to get it fast and to get EXTRA!
This is our second time using Gazelle. Both times have proven to be worth our time and effort. Gazelle is thorough and speedy in their responses and the process is easy. I would recommend this site to anyone!
I sold my iPad on Gazelle. They placed a fair value on the item. Returning was easy in the prepaid shipping box. I opted for the Amazon gift card and had added to my account in about 3 business days. I was very happy with the entire process.
I have purchased in all 3 phones from you. The first two had minimal issues. The third however, had issues from day one. From not ringing to not keeping a charge for even several hours. Finally, less than six months in, I made an appointment at the Apple Store as this phone had become increasingly unreliable. And according to the technician, this phone had water damage, although according to your website, you check for that and do not sell phones with water damage. Apple would not replace the battery for this reason. So less than 6 months in and out $430, I was forced to buy another phone. NEVER AGAIN!
Love this company, i have used few times this year already! Good customer service and fast service! Would highly recommend using them...
Fair price, like the extra few dollars for choosing Amazon gift card. Fast service with receiving shipping box & receiving gift card. Only took a week
Gazelle makes this process easy and extremely quick- I never hesitate to use them if I need to. A+ Service always.
I Fed-exed a phone to them on 6/21/2018 on my dime thinking it would be quicker and now, a week later, they still can't locate the phone! I have called on at least 3 separate days and keep getting the run-around from them. I spoke to Shia on Tuesday, June 26, who I gave my Fed-ex tracking number to and she assured me she would reach out to the warehouse, which by the way, is 3 hours later than them; I was told I would receive follow ups within a 24 hour period, and still NOTHING! I contacted Gazelle on Wednesday, June 27 and spoke to a Senior person, Jeremiah, who, again, assured me that he would check again with the warehouse and that I would be contacted with a status within the 24 hour period... again NOTHING. So I contact Gazelle, one again, on Thursday, June 28 and spoke to a Senior person "Ryan" who was NOT very nice and again gave me the same run-around about being contacted within 24 hours; he assured me that I would receive an update from Jeremiah as it was now "Jeremiah's" case to handle. Well, guess what? Nothing, nada, zip from Jeremiah. So, today I call Gazelle again and spoke to Darlene; she gave me the same run around. I was told by each representative that I spoke to that I should NOT have used my own label as it can cause a huge problem; my comment was "how come you don't put that on your website?" No response. I truly feel like I am being jerked around with Gazelle and will NEVER use them again. I have done business with them in the past and never had any issues. I do not know what they have done but there service now sucks!
I ordered a gazelle iphone 6 plus, i paid next day shipping the whole 9 yards, finally after dealing with FedEx and driving around town i got my phone. As soon as i opened the phone it immediately didnt work and my AT&T rep who helped told me to shut it off and try again later. Later i tried using the phone again it constantly shut out of apps, took screen shots when pressing the home button, the off screen popped up randomly, calls ended randomly, and the lock button didnt work. Obviously upset i call gazelle i spoke to 3 people 2/3 were rude and had attitude with me. I informed them i needed another phone fast and offered to FedEx overnight the broken phone back today instead of using the shipping slip they gave me which take 3-5 business days, the sales rep informed me this wasnt a smart choice because there was a chance the phone would take longer then the normal shipping process and they could possibly lose it. Upon that question I asked how often this happens with devices considering their "30 point check" the sales rep informed me it happens, which had me lose all trust in this company considering the device you receive could easily not work. I gave in and agreed to use their method, after talking longer they informed me the refund wouldn't take place for another 3-5 business days and then i could order a new phone. Obviously furious i asked the gazelle sales rep how long i was looking at, with weekends and holidays my new phone wouldnt come for 2-3 weeks, but once i was refunded they would cover the next day shipping cost for the new device, which for obvious reasons isnt helpful because i would have already waited two weeks for my phone. Their 30 point check process cannot be actually accurate because if someone had simply opened the phone within 5-10 seconds they would realize the phone does not work. I will not shop with gazelle again and should've listened to the horror stories my friends had told me previously. I suggest you dont waste your time or money.
I have sold many phones through Gazelle with zero issues. Recently I tried to sell 2 phones and had nothing but issues. First phone was told it does not power on and they were going to reduce my offer. I contacted them to ask them if they charged the phone first. The next day I received the full price offer. Seriously? You didn't even try to charge the phone? Then they could not send my money via PayPal, which there has never been issue with. Second phone they keep telling me it is financed by the carrier. I contacted them indicating I have the final bill showing the device is paid, off, I have emails showing the device is paid off and I have the IMEI check showing the device is clear. They still refuse to acknowledge. Sending my business to Amazon. I will never use Gazelle again!
They screwed up my first order by sending a pre-paid phone which won't work with my carrier. They apologized, sent me a second phone with 10% discount and free overnight shipping, but since it was a weekend, it took until Monday to receive. Same mistake: sent me another prepaid piece of crap, EVEN THOUGH THEY ASSURED ME THEY WOULD CHECK THE IMEI NUMBER! What a bunch of mo-rons. They agreed to overnight a new one, but not until they had tracking numbers for old ones, which meant another 2 day wait (and that they were still on my credit card!) Screw them: I just ordered a better pre-owned phone directly from my carrier.
Bought the Iphone 6s from them. Great experience. Tried to upgrade through our carrier and they told us they wouldn't take the trade in as the phone was listed as being stolen or lost. (first "what the?") Sent it to Gazelle for a cash out and they said "Unpaid Balance on Financed Device: We discovered that this device is financed through your wireless carrier and still has a balance. Your device must be fully paid in order to sell it." (Second "what the?") How in the flippin' name of all that's good can a phone they sold me have a balance from my carrier? So my phone that was worth 170 is now worthless... Super shady folks. Just saying.
Gazelle is a good service, but when they have issues with recving multiple boxes/items - the customer service is annoying. I spent 2 weeks having gazelle say they cant find items i shipped. BUT - they did finally find them and paid as promised. I will use the service again
Everything with gazelle was great. They got the boxes out to me to ship to ship my items to them quickly. They processed the boxes as soon as they came in and I had my money in PayPal within a few days of them receiving my items. Thanks for the great service.
They purchased my phone from me. I sent it to them, expecting the price they quoted and they increased the amount they paid me because the phone was in such perfect condition.
I was in a bind from my old carrier, I had to pay everything off and leave, I'm so glad gazelle was there to help me in my time of need! I was able to sell my phone and tablet so the change didn't hurt so bad. Everything went off with out a hitch! As soon as I shipped off my products a few days later I had my quote and was able to get max credit for them! Gazelle is an AMAZING service and 10/10 will be recommending to friends and family and strangers in the street! Can't wait to use again!
Easily completed. The check arrived promptly and was MORE than anticipted. They sent box to ship, who could ask fo more.
