Hello, I see you ordered the Stanley 310Mhz version. Is that what your community uses or do they use the Multicode by Stanley 300Mhz version?
You will want to make sure you have the correct device. If that checks out I assume you have the code and set the switches inside to match the correct code for the gate.
The switches in the mini keychain remotes sometimes appeared backwards from the full-size units, so if you set the code and it doesn't work try to set the switches in the EXACT opposite setting. If it still won't work feel free to call us to set up a return or exchange. The Number is 866-965-5599
