Long wait, No results

I was on the phone with customer service for about 2 hours after I had been advised the wait time was 30 minutes. I then receive a cancellation notice for my order a few minutes after. It said that if I had any questions to email *******@gamestop.com and they will get back to you in 24 hours. I emailed them an email stating "My name is Janie Hernandez. I received a notice stating."The order #************** that you placed with GameStop.com or EBgames.com has been cancelled" but I never had an order with that order number. I've had an order number for a few weeks ago that arrived and one last week. Their order numbers were ************** and **************. I do not remember making a third order and have no confirmation that an order by the number of #************** was sent to my email. I already received my package with this information. If you have any questions, please feel free to call me." on November 10,2015. It is now November 19th, 2015 and my email has yet to be answered. This is very very poor service. I will NOT be recommending purchasing from gamestop to ANYONE.

I get it, you guys want to make the most money, so you fill the page with ads and redirects and all that trash. Sorry my money paying for what you actually sell isn't enough for you. I won't be back to waste your time...

I bought a Kinect from Gamestop.com that was supposed to come bundled with the game "Dance Central Spotlight". The game was not in the package, nor any card with a download code. I called Gamestop "customer Service", was put on hold for an hour and five minutes, and then was told they could not givve me a code and would not send me a DVD. They said I could return the entire Kinect to exchange it for a new one and then call back (another long hold) and then they could set things right. That is an absurd amount of hassle just to get what I was promised and paid for. It is up to them, not me, to make this right and they refuse to do so. I will not do business with them again. They burned me.

I ordered a Pipboy edition of Fallout 4 on their online store because it was available for a short time. There was an issue with the order and their website wouldn't let me order another one or cancel it.
I waited 2 hours for some guy in another country to answer my call, in that time the game had sold out and he told me there was nothing he could do.
I'd give them even less than one stars if I could.
Never ever doing business with them again.

When I acquired a PS4, I asked a couple questions to the gamestop employee's. They responded nicely and gave me great feedback, explained thoroughly about it and more. I would rate the service and prices perfect and moderate. $349 for a PS4 Special Edition with the Last of Us Remastered Edition, and the last of us remastered edition is about 100 bucks!

Love the stores and sales people. The website can be hard to navigate sometimes, what with every other thing you click being some ad that takes you to the wrong page... But other than the cluttered pages I do enjoy shopping for games here.

The website has gotten a little overcrowded with ads lately, but whenever I have an issue that I have to contact support or go into a store, the people there are always friendly, and mostly always extremely knowledgeable. I will continue shopping here in the future~

Good site, bad shop

If you want to learn about games, read reviews, then GameStop is the place to go, however other than price comparisons shopping there seems almost always troublesome. Customer service is always too late and too unhelpful to answer your problems. The prices also are not competitive at all.

Don't let others foul you

This place is great yes, And in times the prices can be fair, or unfair. Sometimes they pay you a lot for somethings, and sometimes you're better off just selling somewhere else. And o be honest, there have been many cases were they do not have a pretty common game I want in stock.

Avoid purchasing anything pre-order from gamestop at all costs. If your CC is stolen your order will be cancelled without warning. And with pre-orders that have been sold out they will NOT rectify the issue. "IT'S POLICY" because of the way the CC was declined. This just happened with the new destiny collectors edition with me. As for me I will no longer be doing business with any gamestop/ebgames web site or store again. This is extremely poor service and only shows the leading goal get your money not work to give good service.

Gamestop could be much worse. The prices are usually somewhat decent, and the selection is on par with many of the other game retailers. The staff however is usually pretty awful. I have found that they will lie to you just to make a sale. I never take what the employees say at face value. This is mainly because i was told the Logitech G930 will not work with pc and that i will need to buy a second headset made for pc. (Even though it says the G930s will on the box)
