Same day delivery was awesome
I sent flowers to my teenage great-niece who was in the hospital for an infection. It was her first time having flowers delivered to her. She loved them and put a big smile on her face!
The only negative comment I have is that the flowers were sent by UPS, not a florist. As a result, they were in a hot truck for about 7 hours and when the box arrived it was VERY HOT. The flowers were not dead, but were starting to wilt. I immediately unpacked them, instead of waiting for the birthday recipient to come home and unpack them herself, because the box was so hot. This partially spoiled the surprise of her being able to open the box and then finding out who the sender was (me). I was afraid that if I left them in the hot shipping box until my wife returned home, the roses would be damaged.
So convenient for long distance, last minute gifting. Thought it was a little pricey for what i got.
