Fast delivery. However the package was quite beat up. It contained the UV light bulbs I ordered. The bulbs appeared to be ok. Sure could use a break on the price of those bulbs.

Ordered and waited for almost 10 days. The delivery status was not being update by FedEx. Customer service department wanted me to wait until FedEx relocate the package instead of sending out new package to me.

Poor communication

I placed my order online on August 19, but didn't find out until a week later, after calling to see what was happening, that my product was on backorder. No email, no phone call from Freshwater Systems telling me that it was backordered. This process would repeat for a month. I would have been satisfied if customer service took a more proactive approach and let me know the status of my order, instead of me having to call week after week to see what was happening.

When my product finally arrived - a dual airgap - it was just as described. Seems to be very good quality.

My experience

My only complaint was either freshwater or me made a mistake, in that the FIRST tank I received was the wrong size.The day I received the tank, I sent it back (at my expense) and ordered the correct size. (which I received yesterday.) The man who took my second order never mentioned that I needed permission to return the first tank. I called a few days after I shipped back the first tank to ask a question and the person I spoke to told me that I should have gotten something from Freshwater before shipping, but he would watch for it.

UV Lamp

After ordering a transformer & UV light for a freshwater drinking system. I was sadly disappointed in the delivery timetable. What I thought would take a couple of weeks turned into months with constant rescheduling. I could have ordered the same system from China direct and got it faster, but I thought I was going with a reliable company. Even though individuals were warned not to drink from the defective tap, some did and developed intestinal problems. The delay should have been advised with the ability to cancel the order immediately. Now we have a lot of apologizing to do.

Defective filter

The filter was damaged on one end. I tried to send picture of it and the box it came in but the email address the agent gave us came back as wrong.

Sent only minor part of my order

I have not installed the product yet so this is not a performance review. I ordered a Puro RO system and an additional set of cartridge refills. All I got was the refills. My order showed has having been completed. When I called, the error was acknowledged. And the RO system itself was sent out and I received it a week later. Given the difference in size, price, weight etc, it seems "sloppy" handling.

No customer service

The pump I ordered was back ordered, so I had to wait a week. No big deal. Then I received my pump and it did not come with required fittings. I called Freshwater Systems to see if maybe I made a mistake and needed to order said fittings. After two days of continuous calling and waiting while no one ever answered I left a voice message. Still haven't heard from anyone!
