Meal quality - you sure live up to your name! All your meals are made with fresh ingredients. Your meats (even after microwaved) melt in the mouth and are always seasoned and topped to make it delicious! Each meal is unique, amazing and keeps you satisfied.
Nutrition - Freshly likes to keep their meals between 400-600 calories avg. Each meal seems to be pretty macrofriendly. I am a bodybuilder and this is pretty important for me. Also each meal is full of micronutrients. Vegetables and nuts are well balanced.
App - literally this app is so easy to use. So easy to skip a week cancel, change your meals and change your amount of meals for the upcoming month. You can see all the nutritional facts of each meal on this app. It is very well made!
Overall - Freshly is an amazing company that will help you hit your goals/ make eating fun and easy. I will be using them for a long time and I recommend them to everyone.
Way better than the first time I tried a year or so ago. Portion sizes are much better. Only complaint is I would like to be able to increase or decrease quantity of meals about 10 days out. Some weeks I would order 9, while others 6 with my work travel schedule. Im stuck keeping 6 Bc of this.
Meals to choose from do not change often enough. I find myself feeling bored with the same meals every week.

Thus far I am satisfied with the flavor and portions of my meals. The only real concern I have is the lack of variety. I'm having to repeat meal choices because there isn't anything new on the menu. It's fine for now because we are new to this service, however I foresee it getting old fairly quickly. Crossing my fingers for some new meal options soon.
Fantastic! Meals taste great, made with quality ingredients, priced fairly. Just heat and eat! Easy to change meal choices and flexible delivery options. Great variety. I highly recommend Freshly!
I cannot day how good Freshlys food and customer service is... do not hesitate to order... serving sizes are great... food is delicious and customer service is outstanding... I am only on week 2 but they can count on me being a customer for quite a while!

I LOVE Freshly! It is the perfect solution to my dinner dilemmas. I leave for work at 6:00am and usually return home around 7:00pm. Freshly allows me to enjoy a well-balanced and delicious meal within minutes of arriving home.

As a business owner, father, husband and community leader life gets very busy. I used to eat a lot of fast food because I didn't have enough time. Now my family and I eat healthy because our food is ready in a matter of seconds and there are no dishes to clean up.
I tend to eat take out a lot and find that there are limited healthy and inexpensive options. Freshly supplements my weekly cooking perfectly. I cook twice a week (4 meals) and freshly covers the other 3 days (6 meals).
I love the concept and the convenience of Freshly. Some of the meals I love, others are just okay. I wish they had a little more variety because I find that I order the same meals over and over. Some more breakfast options especially would be nice.

All the meals I've had from Freshly have been good. My only concern is that the sodium and fat contents are a bit high.

I had major thumb surgery this summer and couldn't open any packages/jars or use knives, etc., for about 4 months. I ate out every meal, which was very expensive. After my second surgery, I saw an ad for Freshly. It's great! The meals are tasty and fresh, and I've not had any problems with delivery. (The turkey shepherd's pie was only so-so, but everything else has been worth repeating.) At full price, it seems expensive, but when I consider that I was paying at least $10 to eat (unhealthy meals) out, it's a great deal. The best (unintended) part is that I've actually lost about 5 pounds in the past 3-4 weeks because I'm eating healthier, and the portions are controlled. For me, they are just about right I highly recommend Freshly to anyone!
I'm beyond satisfied with Freshly on the quality, freshness, but most of all on the amazing taste of each meal I've eaten. Great work!
I enjoy not having to cook while still getting quality, healthy meals that are delivered right to my door. Plus the meals actually taste good! The one thing I'd love to see are a few of the dishes that are marked spicy, avail sometimes in non-spicy as well. But, I'm happy with Freshly!
The food options are great, the delivery is always on time and the packaging is first rate. The only negative is too much cheese on the pasta dishes and we are not that keen on the gluten free pasta, we use a much nicer gluten free one at home. All the other dishes we have tried have been delicious and will continue to order Freshly.
The portions of some of the meals is nuts! Maybe offer smaller sizes for us tiny eaters. Also, you guys use WAY to much cheese on your pasta dishes.
Meals have been delicious, generous proportions, healthy and easy to heat. Perfect for elder parents that cooking has become challenging to do. Thank you so much!

We will either remove an item and replace with something new, update the recipe on a current item or just add an item without removing one. As we continue to grow we will have plans to offer even more variety as well!
Answer: Hi Steven, Thank you for your interest in Freshly! We are a weekly subscription service, so you would be charged for, and delivered meals on a weekly basis. However, you can select to skip weeks, or cancel your subscription at anytime! These changes would just need to be made prior to your weekly deadline, which is outlined in your Welcome Email, Reminder Emails, and in your Meal Planner. I hope this helps!
Answer: Our meals are prepared and shipped out from our kitchen in Phoenix.:-) For Arizona deliveries we use FedEx.
Answer: The delivery window they give us is between 9am and 9pm. We package the meals to be safe for 2 days transit time, plus safe to sit outside for up to 12 hours upon delivery.:-)
Answer: Hi Nancy! We do not cook meals based on other programs' guidelines at this time. We're not overly concerned with calorie counts, but more concerned with where calories come from. Our meals are generally high protein, high healthy fat, low carb, low sugar. We use unprocessed ingredients free from hormones or added sugars, and never use chemical preservatives. First and foremost, I'd like to inform you that we're a weekly subscription service, which means you'll receive meals weekly, and get charged weekly as well. Here are the steps to follow while signing up: 1 - Add your email address and zip code in the sign-up box on our homepage. ( www.Freshly.com) 2 - Pick your meal plan. Just keep in mind that our meals have a shelf life of about 5 days unless frozen. 3 - Pick your delivery day from the available dates! The specific day of the week will be your weekly delivery day unless changed. 4 - Select your delicious meals from our 30+ selections. 5 - Add your contact info, payment details, and delivery address.

You can certainly reheat our meals in a conventional oven, however, our current meal containers are not safe for the oven or stove-top, so you'll have to transfer your food to heat it up. First, preheat your oven to 350° F. Transfer your food to an oven-safe dish (don't forget to scrape the sauce out of the tray!) and cover the top in tin foil. Heat for 25-35 minutes, remove foil, and let sit 3-5 minutes, then transfer to your choice of plate or bowl and enjoy! (Keep in mind, heating times are approximate. You'll want to reheat the meal to an inner temperature of 165° F.)

We can deliver Tuesday-Saturday in Southern Illinois--deliveries can occur between 8am-9pm depending on the carriers route for the day. While carrier delays are out of the norm, weather-related issues, road closures, driver confusion, etc. can wreak havoc. We have a dedicated delivery team that works directly with our carriers to ensure successful deliveries, and we're always sure to compensate when delays arise. We certainly hope this helps! Answer: I've been getting mine in on time, but I assume as with all packages going through USPS, UPS, and FedEx right now, things have been backed up since COVID and only getting worse. So it's not Freshly's fault even if they aren't delivered on time.
