We used to order every week, 6 meals. There is variety but we are getting bored. We are now ordering every other week. Their white meat chicken is excellent and nice large servings. We wish they had more choices with plain rice, real gravy and traditional pasta.
Dominique was very helpful in changing a meal selection for our first weeks food we selected. We are very pleased so far can't wait to try the food.

I had my doubts when I began the Freshly Experience but I was soon proved wrong. The food is cooked well and does not taste frozen or artificial in any way like most competitors. There have only been a couple of hiccups where the delivery was incorrect, but the customer service team went above my expectations to correct it both times! The first hand customer service is a big reason I continue to order Freshly. That and it's packed with deliciousness :)

I changed my shipping address to my mom's while I'm with her during the pandemic. It was easy and we've enjoyed the food!
Contacted freshly and got the robot. He couldn't answer my question and a human messaged within about a minute. That person was polite and knowledgeable. I had my answer immediately. Customer service was EXCELLENT.

I liked the idea and the convenience right off the bat. Working late doesn't leave a lot of time for preparing a good meal, so I thought Freshly might be a way to make lunches and dinners ore quickly and healthily.
For the first month, I really enjoyed the food. It was novel because I got to eat vegetables and other foods that were prepared differently than I was used to. And then it went "blah."
The recipes don't change frequently enough for variety. Also, they appear to favor the same cuts of meat even if it is a new recipe.
There is a major avoidance of truly ethnic foods, a lot of the "cultural" foods are kept very generic with a light hand towards the spices and flavorings.
Generally, it is a good deal if you don't mind food monotony. It just didn't work for me.

I usually end up calling Freshly a few times a month to manage my two subscriptions. Oliver was one of the kindest, most helpful, and most professional people that I have spoken with at Freshly.
The meals are very tasty. They're conveniently delivered and I get a shipping notification when they're on their way. Overall, I've had a great experience.
My Freshly meals did not arrive as they usually do this Friday (yesterday). The carrier has indicated that the package will not arrive until next Tuesday; not a good idea for perishable food. I contacted Freshly via chat and was quickly told that, yes, the meals were delayed and that I would receive a refund. The whole process was painless for me and I am very appreciative. I love Freshly meals and will continue to order them every week.

Freshly has made my life so much easier! No more stopping at a fast-food place to pick up an unhealthy dinner on the way home from work - now I have food ready and waiting for me when I get home. I have great and tasty options to choose from (I like flavorful food) - it only takes 3 min - and no dishes! This is ideal for a single on-the-go person!
The online ordering process is easy and simple. Hardest part is to remember to update my order by Friday evening, but even if I forget I still receive 6 fresh meals. There are a good variety of protein choices - chicken, beef, pork. (would like more seafood options though)
Another benefit is the pricing - Freshly is very economical. Not only are the meals cheaper than many take-out options, but because the portions are adequate, I snack less in the evening.
Delivery and packaging are great. Parcels are delivered right to my doorstep and the food stays cold due to the gel packs.
One more benefit - Freshly deliveries has really made the COVID-19 stay at home situation easier for me. I do not have to go out to the supermarket or restaurants often at all. It has really been convenient.

It was a good one. When I emailed it in, they said they would give me a credit for the non delivery. That was appreciated. I will attempt to again to get things going and hopefully be a long term customer.

We will either remove an item and replace with something new, update the recipe on a current item or just add an item without removing one. As we continue to grow we will have plans to offer even more variety as well!
Answer: Hi Steven, Thank you for your interest in Freshly! We are a weekly subscription service, so you would be charged for, and delivered meals on a weekly basis. However, you can select to skip weeks, or cancel your subscription at anytime! These changes would just need to be made prior to your weekly deadline, which is outlined in your Welcome Email, Reminder Emails, and in your Meal Planner. I hope this helps!
Answer: Our meals are prepared and shipped out from our kitchen in Phoenix.:-) For Arizona deliveries we use FedEx.
Answer: The delivery window they give us is between 9am and 9pm. We package the meals to be safe for 2 days transit time, plus safe to sit outside for up to 12 hours upon delivery.:-)
Answer: Hi Nancy! We do not cook meals based on other programs' guidelines at this time. We're not overly concerned with calorie counts, but more concerned with where calories come from. Our meals are generally high protein, high healthy fat, low carb, low sugar. We use unprocessed ingredients free from hormones or added sugars, and never use chemical preservatives. First and foremost, I'd like to inform you that we're a weekly subscription service, which means you'll receive meals weekly, and get charged weekly as well. Here are the steps to follow while signing up: 1 - Add your email address and zip code in the sign-up box on our homepage. ( www.Freshly.com) 2 - Pick your meal plan. Just keep in mind that our meals have a shelf life of about 5 days unless frozen. 3 - Pick your delivery day from the available dates! The specific day of the week will be your weekly delivery day unless changed. 4 - Select your delicious meals from our 30+ selections. 5 - Add your contact info, payment details, and delivery address.

You can certainly reheat our meals in a conventional oven, however, our current meal containers are not safe for the oven or stove-top, so you'll have to transfer your food to heat it up. First, preheat your oven to 350° F. Transfer your food to an oven-safe dish (don't forget to scrape the sauce out of the tray!) and cover the top in tin foil. Heat for 25-35 minutes, remove foil, and let sit 3-5 minutes, then transfer to your choice of plate or bowl and enjoy! (Keep in mind, heating times are approximate. You'll want to reheat the meal to an inner temperature of 165° F.)

We can deliver Tuesday-Saturday in Southern Illinois--deliveries can occur between 8am-9pm depending on the carriers route for the day. While carrier delays are out of the norm, weather-related issues, road closures, driver confusion, etc. can wreak havoc. We have a dedicated delivery team that works directly with our carriers to ensure successful deliveries, and we're always sure to compensate when delays arise. We certainly hope this helps! Answer: I've been getting mine in on time, but I assume as with all packages going through USPS, UPS, and FedEx right now, things have been backed up since COVID and only getting worse. So it's not Freshly's fault even if they aren't delivered on time.
