I love that everything is gluten free. I take meds for acid reflux and need to avoid spicy food. Most of your selections are spicy or have bell peppers as an ingredient which doesn't agree with me. I find I am very limited in the more "bland" selections and have been ordering the chicken with macaroni and cheese and the pepper steak with mashed potatoes which are both good. Please try to add more selections like those for me to order. Thank you.
So far I like the Home-style Chicken with Mac dinner the best. Some of the combinations are ok, but once to try and done. I am not a fan of peppers and so many things have peppers in that I have to pick out. I like the Steak Peppercorn also, however, depends on the cut of the steak - some are better than others and that is not the chef's problem, it is the meat itself.
Meals are delivered in a timely manner and since I am disabled, I appreciate a home cooked meal.

I have had a very positive experience with Freshly's customer service if there is an issue with delivery. I am happy that Freshly monitors their delivery statuses so they can alert me if anything is late. I like the variety Freshly offers on their weekly menus, but I do miss the fish and vegetarian options they used to carry. I don't eat pork or beef and there are only so many chicken dishes I can eat in a week.

All the meals I have had have been from good to excellent. I work 10 to 12 hours for Amazon & this is convenient to just pop in & relax after a long day as I work Amazon XL which is packges 50lbs to 130lbs

Things I have not eaten before, I find delicious. Surprise surprise
This is the first time I have ordered pre-made meals to be delivered, I had contemplated months, read reviews on multiple sites and after finally being bored of the same food day in and day out I opted to try it out. This is a more healthy option to fast food/food trucks at lunch time, and a change of pace from the normal bring you lunch to work type of meal- which I was hoping to welcome. This service delivered on every thing I read and researched. The meals are portioned large, nice and clear packaging, easy to read instructions and quick microwave instructions that are easy to follow. The nutritional information is something else I love, and even though some people say the sodium is on the high side, I am a person with medical issues that needs the extra sodium- so that was a huge bonus for me personally. I have had some a few meals that I did not like, while the majority I have loved. I have also received wrong shipment, with in 5 minutes of emailing Freshly of this issue, I was contacted back and provided full refund without asking for it and kept the meals. I have also had 2 meals use by dates expire by the time I could eat them and when I rated the meals I simply put "expired could not eat". Couple of weeks later I received a call and email from Freshly, upon speaking to them and telling them what transpired, I again had a full refund without asking. The level of customer service has been superb! The meals are delicious! The price is highly competitive. All around, I would give this company and service it provides 5 stars for excellence. Freshly is doing it right from start to finish!

Freshly is a great way to get some nice meals without a lot of work. The meals arrive on timesafely packaged. The microwaving instructions are easy to follow. To top it off, the food is very tasty and has health benefits!

Placing weekly orders and rating meals is easy. Delivery has been very reliable, and the food stays chilled. The meats, veggies, and other ingredients seem fresh and good quality. Portions are moderate and the tastes are delicious. There have been a few meals that I didn't care for, but I think that's just my own taste buds, not a fault in the food. It has been absolutely fabulous to have heat 'n' eat meals for times when I'm in a hurry!

Chicken parm - I cleaned my plate. The meals were packaged well to withstand several hours on my doorstep in the Arizona heat. Looking forward to trying the others. You can tell this isn't "frozen" food.

I had an issue with one of my orders that came. I opened the app typed my issue completely expecting an automated response. I was wrong. I 100% got a response from an actual person, within seconds. Clair responded, took care of the issue I had. Freshly if you're reading this please take good care of your customer service agents. They are doing an amazing job.

We will either remove an item and replace with something new, update the recipe on a current item or just add an item without removing one. As we continue to grow we will have plans to offer even more variety as well!
Answer: Hi Steven, Thank you for your interest in Freshly! We are a weekly subscription service, so you would be charged for, and delivered meals on a weekly basis. However, you can select to skip weeks, or cancel your subscription at anytime! These changes would just need to be made prior to your weekly deadline, which is outlined in your Welcome Email, Reminder Emails, and in your Meal Planner. I hope this helps!
Answer: Our meals are prepared and shipped out from our kitchen in Phoenix.:-) For Arizona deliveries we use FedEx.
Answer: The delivery window they give us is between 9am and 9pm. We package the meals to be safe for 2 days transit time, plus safe to sit outside for up to 12 hours upon delivery.:-)
Answer: Hi Nancy! We do not cook meals based on other programs' guidelines at this time. We're not overly concerned with calorie counts, but more concerned with where calories come from. Our meals are generally high protein, high healthy fat, low carb, low sugar. We use unprocessed ingredients free from hormones or added sugars, and never use chemical preservatives. First and foremost, I'd like to inform you that we're a weekly subscription service, which means you'll receive meals weekly, and get charged weekly as well. Here are the steps to follow while signing up: 1 - Add your email address and zip code in the sign-up box on our homepage. ( www.Freshly.com) 2 - Pick your meal plan. Just keep in mind that our meals have a shelf life of about 5 days unless frozen. 3 - Pick your delivery day from the available dates! The specific day of the week will be your weekly delivery day unless changed. 4 - Select your delicious meals from our 30+ selections. 5 - Add your contact info, payment details, and delivery address.

You can certainly reheat our meals in a conventional oven, however, our current meal containers are not safe for the oven or stove-top, so you'll have to transfer your food to heat it up. First, preheat your oven to 350° F. Transfer your food to an oven-safe dish (don't forget to scrape the sauce out of the tray!) and cover the top in tin foil. Heat for 25-35 minutes, remove foil, and let sit 3-5 minutes, then transfer to your choice of plate or bowl and enjoy! (Keep in mind, heating times are approximate. You'll want to reheat the meal to an inner temperature of 165° F.)

We can deliver Tuesday-Saturday in Southern Illinois--deliveries can occur between 8am-9pm depending on the carriers route for the day. While carrier delays are out of the norm, weather-related issues, road closures, driver confusion, etc. can wreak havoc. We have a dedicated delivery team that works directly with our carriers to ensure successful deliveries, and we're always sure to compensate when delays arise. We certainly hope this helps! Answer: I've been getting mine in on time, but I assume as with all packages going through USPS, UPS, and FedEx right now, things have been backed up since COVID and only getting worse. So it's not Freshly's fault even if they aren't delivered on time.
