Mel was very quick responding to my message and gave a detailed explanation as to why I didn't get my meals. Mel was also quick to provide details of my refund for the week.
When I first started with Freshly almost a year ago, I was very excited to try all the meals. At first it seemed the meals changed frequently so I was not bored, but now (even before COVID-19) there is not much variation. I am not a big pepper fan; it seems most of the meals have peppers in them so it leaves little for me to choose from. Most of my weekly meals are the same so I am quite bored and tend to skip a week.

I've been working from home since March and have been stressing over the thoughts of working 24/7. Knowing that I have a healthy balanced readily available meal right in my refrigerator really takes the stress off meal planning

Some of their meals have too little carbs, I feel like this low-carb craze is unscientific and a healthy diet should have a higher carb to protein ratio!

Everytime you try a new food you hope it has the flavor that you just cant stop eating, well... the steak peppercorn and the tomato-glazed turkey meatloaf is a good start

I contacted Freshly to let them know that my order did not arrive. It supposed to arrived on 10/07/21, I contacted Freshly on 10/09/21. I received a wonderful assistance from Ms. Mary F. She was very understanding. She processed a refund for my order. She was very nice and pleasant too.
Ms. Mary F, told me that she would let know Freshly's management about deliveries problems, so they look to solve the issue.

The app is super easy to use. The food is delicious.
Love the dishes. I was in the hospital for a while, so I have plenty of food now. Please stop my delivery until I call you. The seasonings are perfect and I am eating so much better because of the convenience. No more crackers and cheese/peanut butter.

Freshly is great. Super quick and tasty meals in minutes. My favorite is the Butternut Mac and Chicken!
My mother does not like to cook for herself so I decided to get her 6 meals a week from Freshly and she absolutely loves them. She calls me every time she eats one and we rate it in the app. I am glad I do not have to worry about my Mom getting a good meal when she lives so far away from me. When my Mom gets invited out or decides to cook for herself and has Freshly meals left over, it is an easy click of a button in the app for me to skip a week. The packages always arrives on time and my Mom gives the ice packs away for people to reuse for their coolers. Definitely recommend.

I've been using Freshly off and on for about 3 years. I like that I'm able to skip weeks as needed. The servings are just right. They may look small, but I'm always satisfied and sometimes unable to finish. There's a nice variety that changes throughout the year. I'm automatically given a credit when it looks like delivery will be delayed. The site is easy to use and has good info on the meals. I wish it was a little cheaper, but it's about what an unhealthy fast food meal costs now. I've recommended Freshly to several of my friends. Also, I like that there's no prep. I toss it in my lunch bag and then toss it in the microwave for a quick and healthy lunch at work.

Great food, delivery works well, good site, good app, I like the notices of delivery and notice of time to change order. I would like to get credit for the one steak order (I will never order a cut of beef from site again). Overall, excellent.

We will either remove an item and replace with something new, update the recipe on a current item or just add an item without removing one. As we continue to grow we will have plans to offer even more variety as well!
Answer: Hi Steven, Thank you for your interest in Freshly! We are a weekly subscription service, so you would be charged for, and delivered meals on a weekly basis. However, you can select to skip weeks, or cancel your subscription at anytime! These changes would just need to be made prior to your weekly deadline, which is outlined in your Welcome Email, Reminder Emails, and in your Meal Planner. I hope this helps!
Answer: Our meals are prepared and shipped out from our kitchen in Phoenix.:-) For Arizona deliveries we use FedEx.
Answer: The delivery window they give us is between 9am and 9pm. We package the meals to be safe for 2 days transit time, plus safe to sit outside for up to 12 hours upon delivery.:-)
Answer: Hi Nancy! We do not cook meals based on other programs' guidelines at this time. We're not overly concerned with calorie counts, but more concerned with where calories come from. Our meals are generally high protein, high healthy fat, low carb, low sugar. We use unprocessed ingredients free from hormones or added sugars, and never use chemical preservatives. First and foremost, I'd like to inform you that we're a weekly subscription service, which means you'll receive meals weekly, and get charged weekly as well. Here are the steps to follow while signing up: 1 - Add your email address and zip code in the sign-up box on our homepage. ( www.Freshly.com) 2 - Pick your meal plan. Just keep in mind that our meals have a shelf life of about 5 days unless frozen. 3 - Pick your delivery day from the available dates! The specific day of the week will be your weekly delivery day unless changed. 4 - Select your delicious meals from our 30+ selections. 5 - Add your contact info, payment details, and delivery address.

You can certainly reheat our meals in a conventional oven, however, our current meal containers are not safe for the oven or stove-top, so you'll have to transfer your food to heat it up. First, preheat your oven to 350° F. Transfer your food to an oven-safe dish (don't forget to scrape the sauce out of the tray!) and cover the top in tin foil. Heat for 25-35 minutes, remove foil, and let sit 3-5 minutes, then transfer to your choice of plate or bowl and enjoy! (Keep in mind, heating times are approximate. You'll want to reheat the meal to an inner temperature of 165° F.)

We can deliver Tuesday-Saturday in Southern Illinois--deliveries can occur between 8am-9pm depending on the carriers route for the day. While carrier delays are out of the norm, weather-related issues, road closures, driver confusion, etc. can wreak havoc. We have a dedicated delivery team that works directly with our carriers to ensure successful deliveries, and we're always sure to compensate when delays arise. We certainly hope this helps! Answer: I've been getting mine in on time, but I assume as with all packages going through USPS, UPS, and FedEx right now, things have been backed up since COVID and only getting worse. So it's not Freshly's fault even if they aren't delivered on time.
