Get ready for hidden fees! They automatically charge your credit card the membership fee. Called and cancelled as soon as I saw the charge on my cc statement. Sorry y'all, there really is no such thing as 'free'
I had a $12.97 fee pop up on my bank statement for 2 months. I had inadvertently approved a site for freeshipping I assume but the fee that appeared a month later was NOT DISCLOSED... which sucked... but at least when I called the number *******597 very little wait time and... the rep Nida. Game me full credit. So in a brief synopsis if your going to get screwed for NON-DISCLOSED charges at least they are fair and quick about the credit back. LOL...

Ive noticed this on my bank statement wondering who they were. I've called their toll free number. Low and behold, number is a non working number. I WANT my money back as I see it's a recurring withdrawal

I noticed random charges on my account and I have never purchased this plan. Apparently, it was hidden in a Kohls ad. I will never shop there again since this was so shifty and underhanded. I'm reporting this to the BBB.
Hi Katie,
We're sorry to hear about the confusion at sign up. We offer those who shop at the retailers in our network the chance to claim an introductory offer and experience a 7-day free trial. If you have any other questions about our service, please contact [email protected] for more information. Thanks!
Sincerely,
The FreeShipping.com Team
Sneaky folks! I purchased something from a catalog and this was an unwanted, unscheduled add on. When a check on my debit card/checking account bounced I called my bank and I discovered that 12.97 had been deducted from my acct for months. Never ordered this service! The telephone rep from FresShipping said they'd issue a refund and cancel my account. Will see if they follow through. I made sure I got a reference number from that conversation, however I am canceling that card since security has been compromised.
Hi there,
We're sorry about the confusion regarding a membership with us. At sign up, you entered your credit card details to start your 7-day free trial and claim your introductory offer. However, you agreed to pay the membership fee if you wished to continue using our service past your trial period. These details were stated above where you entered your credit card information, in the terms you agreed to at sign up and in the terms reiterated in the welcome email you received after registration. If you have any other questions, feel free to contact [email protected] at any time. Thanks!
Sincerely,
The FreeShipping.com Team
If this is the same company that also does MLB.com I did this a few yrs back and after I did somehow my debit card got hacked and charges I did not make got charged and the places it did was back east luckily my bank was on top of it and got new card that day and refunded charges I would not trust this company
Hi Michael,
I think you may have us confused with another site. We are a subscription online shopping site that offers members 10% cash back, free shipping, free returns, price protection, and price comparison at over 1,000 online retailers. You are only subject to our membership fees if you sign up with us and decide to stay on board past your 7-day free trial. If you have any other questions, please feel free to contact [email protected]. Thank you!
Sincerely,
The FreeShipping.com Team
The comoany's service turned out to be useless to me and the charge to my card was larger than the rebate I was waiting on. I requested a refund for the service and they obliged. I'm glad I was able to get out of it.
Hi Ted,
Thanks for the feedback. We do find that our members who shop online often are the ones who see the most value in our product. Between the cash back, shipping rebates, coupons and price protection, the savings they earn often far exceeds what they pay in membership fees. However, we're happy to see that you were able to resolve this issue and receive a refund for the charge. Thanks so much, and feel free to contact us with any questions.
Sincerely,
The FreeShipping.com Team
Random $12.97 monthly charges appeared on my credit card. I definitely never signed up for this, nor did I ever receive a "welcome email." This will be reported to the BBB as I am clearly not the first to have this experience unless all such charges are refunded back to me. I most definitely never received any kind of benefit from this alleged "sign up."
Hi Victoria,
We're sorry to hear about the confusion regarding a membership with us. The information we have for each member is only from what is given to us voluntarily at sign up. On the sign up page, you are offered a 7-day free trial and you are told that if you chose to extend your membership past your trial, you will be subject to our monthly membership fee. Otherwise, you must cancel your account within your trial period to avoid being charged.
If you have not yet been able to cancel your account, please email [email protected] with your email address and zip code. Thank you!
Sincerely,
The FreeShipping.com Team

Hi Jamal,
Please email [email protected] with your full name and zip code so customer service can look up your account and help explain how you signed up for our service. Thank you!
I have never signed on their terms but every month they take my 12.97. Two monthes. I do not use online purchasing much. I use only 3 sites and non of them suggested me this company Free shipping.com. I have no idea where do they get my Card number. I wrote a letter to them to refund me my money back. I hope they will refund and cancel their membership about which I even do not have any idea.
Hi Tatyana,
We're sorry to hear about the confusion regarding our membership fee. When you signed up with us, you agreed to pay the $12.97 monthly fee if you decided to extend your membership with us past your 7-day trial. Otherwise, to avoid being charged the subscription fee, you must cancel your account within your trial period. This information is stated on the sign up page directly above where you entered your credit card information, in the terms of use you agreed to at sign up, and in the terms reiterated in the welcome email you received after becoming a trial member.

Every year for the past 11 years, I have saved between $750 and $1,000. For those of you who gave negative reviews, my guess is that you joined without looking at the rules and directions. If you are not a frequent online shopper, making at leadt 4-6 purchases a month, this program is not for you and you should not have joined. Customer service is wonderful at settling any disputes, it is easy to track earnings, and rebate checks always come on time each month. No, I am not a shopaholic, but I do make at least 8-10 purchases each month. I love Freeshipping.com! Since the pandemic, FreeShipping.com has been a Godsend.
I've been a member for the past year, and have yet to run into any legitimate issues that weren't due to something I did incorrectly. If you follow the instructions, you should do fine with this service. It does take some effort and patience, however.
The process of getting money back is very slow, you have to patiently wait for months. The only thing is while waiting you still need to pay for the membership fee. However, I did get checks from them for over $500. I can't really complain about anything else. Try it if you shop a lot. :)
Hi Lulu,
Thanks so much for the kind words! We do find that members who shop online often end up with cash back earnings that far exceed the membership fee paid monthly, plus the extra savings earned from being such a great shopper :).
We're so happy to hear you've been saving with our site! Feel free to like us on Facebook and follow us on Twitter to keep up with special promotions and tips on all things shopping and saving!
Sincerely,
The FreeShipping.com Team
Was satisfied with freeshipping.com for a couple of years but as more free shipping was offered by online sites value of membership at freeshipping.com declined. Limit of $10 per rebate request was also a reason to drop. Most disappointing was seeing more rebate requests rejected inspite of providing same type of order confirmation documentation that previously had been accepted.
Hi David,
We're sorry to hear about your experience! We appreciate your feedback and will absolutely take it into consideration. If you have any questions as to why a rebate request was declined, feel free to contact [email protected] for further information on that matter.
Don't forget, we offer a number of other savings benefits on top of the free shipping! Our members find the 10% cash back and the price protection to be most valuable when shopping online.
Feel free to reach out to us at any time! Thank you!
Sincerely,
The FreeShipping.com Team
Hi, I have been a customer of Freeshipping.com for last 3 months and I have got a huge cash back for the Holiday season purchases. This is a genuine company which has got some bad publicity, and I think thats mainly due to people who don't read the terms and conditions properly and regret/complain later on. If you follow the terms they have mentioned the send you the cheque as promised. So its about you on how you want to get some free bonus on your regular purchases. As a Business model this also helps the consumer to get their share of the Trade promotion money spent by the manufacturers. Highly recommended.
Hi Narayana,
Thanks so much for the kind words! We're so happy to hear we were able to save you money during the holidays! Thanks so much for being a member, happy shopping and saving!
Sincerely,
The FreeShipping.com Team
Some how I have been paying 12.97 a month for seventeen months to a company called" Free Shipping", on an account I never signed up for. It appears it was attached in small print when I purchased something from Kohl's.The person I talked to was very reasonable but I was very angry. I was chastised for not reading the small print when I purchase something on line and not reviewing my credit card. I mistakenly thought it was a monthly charge for books I signed up for. I was scammed and I can't believe I was so foolish. I am eighty years old and live on a fixed income. When I hear about older people being scammed I always said how could they be so foolish, now I know. They told me they would cancel my account and refund me $220.00. I guess I wont hold my breath. People need to ask stores that sell online, why they allow companies like Free Shippingon their sites.
Hi Joanne,
We're sorry to hear about your experience with our site. The details of the 7-day free trial and the membership fee that follows are stated directly above were users enter their credit card information at sign up. They are also located in our terms of use, which must be agreed to before successfully registering for the account. These terms are also reiterated in the welcome email each new member receives after signing up. If you have any further questions, please contact [email protected] for future assistance. Thank you!
Sincerely,
The FreeShipping.com Team
These folks are crooks. They charged me membership fees I didn't even know we're coming. I consider that stealing. What goes around will come around.
Hi Tyeson,
We're sorry you feel that way about our site! It looks like you signed up with us after an online purchase on 12/30. You were offered a 7-day free trial and $10 cash back. The monthly membership fee is stated directly above where users enter their credit card information at sign up. It is also reiterated in our terms of use, which further explain that if a member chooses to use our service past the trial period, he or she will be subject to the $12.97 fee. The terms of use must be agreed to before successfully signing up for an account and they are also included in the welcome email each member receives directly after registering. If you have any further questions or concerns, feel free to contact us at [email protected]. Thank you!

I noticed on my wifes credit card two months-worth of a FreeShipping subscription for December and January. We never signed up for this site. When my wife called to get some answers she was greeted by customer service and they agreed to send my wife an email notification verifying a full refund. We are waiting for the $12.97/month to show up on the credit card.
Hi Terry,
Let us know if you have any further concerns about the refund! It should appear on your statement within 2-5 business days of the issue date.
I'd love to explain what our service is and how you became a member with us. We offer new users a 7-day free trial to get a feel for our site and claim their $10 cash back bonus. On the sign up page, directly above where users insert their credit card information, it is stated that if a new user would like to continue using our service past the trial period, they are agreeing to pay the $12.97 monthly membership fee. To avoid being charged, members must cancel their account within their trial period. This information is also stated in our terms of use, which must be agreed to before successfully signing up. The terms are also reiterated in the welcome email each new user receives upon signing up for our service.
If you have any other questions, please contact us at [email protected] or call our customer service line. Thank you!

The FreeShipping.com Team
Seems like I got done in too by freeshipping com.
What we all need to do is get a facebook and twitter started and post our receipts showing all the different stores that allow them to advertise and trap people on thier websites.
These businesses should not expose their customers to shady vendors and offers.
They are just as much to blame for this.
Hi Sebastian,
We're so sorry you feel this way about our site. Our members find the savings benefits we offer at over 1,000 top online retailers very helpful!
If you have any questions regarding how our service works or the benefits we offer our members, please feel free to contact [email protected] or call our customer service line for more information. Thank you!

My wife noticed a debit on her card for two months-worth of a FreeShipping subscription. We never signed up for this site in the first place, nor would we want to since we get free shipping everywhere already (and FreeShipping's subscription isn't even free in the first place). When my wife called to get some answers, she was greeted by a rude and condescending employee who told her she signed up at a place she never goes to.
FreeShipping only refunded one of those two payments, so we're down $12.95 and had to cancel her card to avoid this happening again.
Thanks, FreeShipping.com. Real classy.
Hello,
We’re sorry to hear about the confusion regarding our membership fee and the terms you agreed to at sign up. We offer new users a 7-day free trial to check out our site and claim their introductory cash back bonus. On the sign up page, directly above where users enter their information, the details of the membership fee after the trial period are stated. If users do not cancel their account during their free trial period and choose to stay on board with our service, they agree to pay the $12.97 membership fee. These terms must be agreed to before successfully signing up for an account with us, and they are also reiterated in the welcome email new users receive after signing up.
If you have any other questions regarding our site, please feel free to contact us at [email protected] or call our customer service line. Thank you!

Answer: Their advertising is a little sneaky I give you that. But that's your fault, just like out on the city streets, a fool and their money is soon parted.
Answer: Hi Christina, unfortunately I can't locate your account using the information here. Can you please reach out to me directly at [email protected]?
Answer: What's so dishonest about it? I am a regular subscriber and can easily recover my subscription fee many times over.
Answer: I did, but only after threatening to report them to the Attorney General in my state. They rely on the fact that few people will make a fuss.
Answer: You have to buy items from a website…anything from eBay to BATH & BODY WORKS, OVERSTOCK…many others. Go to "freeshipping.com" then delete the site from which you plan to buy-it will direct you to that site. (I always take screenshots of final receipts to add to my freeshipping.com submission), Afterwards you need to enter the purchase date-total cost and shipping cost…then a code is given. I have timed myself-the submission takes 35 secs if you are fluid on the computer. Have been a member for over 5 years and saved hundred$$! Trustworthy site-w/discounts as well as freeshipping (up to $10/order). $500 max shipping refunds per year…no limit on 10-20% off discounts!
Answer: Hello, Any cash back you earn as a member is yours to keep even if you choose to cancel. Thanks!

Hi Alyx,
We're sorry to hear about your experience and understand that a membership with us is not for everyone. We find that those who shop online frequently tend to get the most value out of our service. However, I'd be happy to explain the terms you agreed to at sign up.
Since we are a subscription-based online shopping site, we offer new members a 7-day free trial so they can check out our site and determine whether or not it'd benefit their lifestyle. If new members decide they'd like to continue using our site past their trial, they agree to pay the membership fee moving forward at sign up. Should you decide not to continue your membership, your account must be cancelled within your trial period to avoid the monthly membership fee. This information is stated on the sign up page, directly above where users enter their credit card information. It is also in our terms of use, which must be agreed to before successfully completing the sign up process. Furthermore, the terms are reiterated in the welcome email each new member receives after signing up with us.
If you have any other questions regarding our fees or how our site works, we'd love to assist you with further information. Please contact [email protected] if this is the case. Thank you!
Sincerely,
The FreeShipping.com Team
