FoodNetwork Reviews Summary

The company's reputation is increasingly tarnished by customer dissatisfaction, primarily stemming from perceived declines in programming quality and a lack of engaging content. Viewers express frustration over repetitive shows, perceived arrogance from hosts, and a shift away from the original cooking-centric focus. Additionally, customers report poor customer service, citing unresponsive support regarding issues such as lost recipes. While some fans still appreciate select shows, the overall sentiment indicates a longing for a return to the network's foundational values of culinary education and inspiration, suggesting a need for significant content and service improvements.

The repeat shows are too much. You can watch the SAME show at least twice in the same night. The food was delicious.

The Kitchen
August 13, 2018

I have a love/hate relationship with the the Kitchen. There are so many great take aways with every episode, so I watch it, but every time Jeff Mauro acts like a 12 year old boy and talks over the person doing a demo, I want to grab him by the ear and whisper "Stop it! Stop it NOW!" You can tell the rest of the cast tolerates him like the weird Uncle on Thanksgiving. I do like Sunny a lot, but she falls into repetitive descriptors like "Curb Appeal" which she literally used 6 times in one show to describe plating. I got annoyed. I do wish I could change my hair that often, though! Katie probably has the least professional culinary experience but is good on camera and isnt annoying. Geoffrey is the most acclaimed and experienced of all of them, but he mostly does cocktails and has an invisible bubble over his head that reads "I can't stand this and I am focusing on not exploding over canned cream soup and refrigersted biscuits, but it's great money and only takes a few hours a week so if I don't stab someone this will pay for my kids private school tuition"

I love this show but agree that Sunny's loudness and sometimes snarky remarks to the other chefs detract from the show. I think Sunny says "Ya know what I'm sayin'" about hundred times per show!

I just wanted to send you a message, because I'm sitting here at 5:00 PM watching the children's baking championship on food HD and one of the commercials that came on was extremely inappropriate for my five and nine-year-old children. I understand you don't control all of the marketing that happens behind the scenes, however if you're going to play a children's show you should not have commercials that have to do with violent movies sexual innuendos and or violence. Please look into this thank you.

The Kitchen
August 7, 2018

Love the recipes and craft ideas, BUT I cannot deal with Sunnies big mouth. She is constantly screaming. Her need to be noticed is annoying. Many people agree and I find myself turning the channel. Sorry to the rest of the crew. They are funny and informative and I will miss them. I'd give you a 5, but can't tolerate her screeching.

Food Network
August 1, 2018

I am a Food Network lover, and The Kitchen is the show I most look forward to, with the exception of Sunny! I find her annoying! From her ridiculous make-up to her eating... Our food network w/ suddenlink. In the Ozarks

Watch Naughty & Delicious this morning for the first time. Thought the host was annoying and the food didn't look appetizing at all. Prefer not to see this show or the host again!

Hypocrites
July 22, 2018

Food Network is a bunch of hypocrites. They cancel Paula Deen because she used a racial slur 20 plus years ago. But they bring in a known Felon in Martha Stewart. So, apparently, it's okay to lie, cheat, and steal, just don't let it be known you used a bad word 20 or 30 years ago.
I stopped watching the Food Network because I can't stand a bunch of hypocritical bigoted lowlifes.

That music
July 16, 2018

When watching any of your cooking shows, I find myself with an extream desire for that horrible music in the background to go away. I understand that you probably feel it adds to the show. However, for me (and Im sure many others) it actually makes me want to cover my ears and sometimes tear my hair out. I very much feel that it would ADD to your cooking shows if there was no dinky music in the background. Thank you.

What happened to Amanda and Maneet the judges on Chopped? They can't say anything nice anymore. We haven't ever seen them win a compatition, yet they are so critical and getting fatter by the minute. We don't watch when they're on.

I used to enjoy the show when it first came on a few years ago. It has now become a show that we have chosen to turn off. Can't believe the clothes that Giada wears on a show that is supposed to be about contestants working hard to show their potential. This is not supposed to be the Giada fashion show is it? Just disappointed in the network and her.

I LOVE CHOPPED. I can watch it from sun up to sun down... until recently. Martha Stewart as a judge? You guys ruined the show. She doesn't have a culinary bone in her body. What an insult to your iron chefs and top-notch judges, food critics, bloggers, etc. that have appeared on this show. I'm really disappointed. This was not a good decision. I'll only watch the re-runs now.

Anytime Foodnetwork chopped is on... I immediately change to that channel... UNTIL. I realize Martha Stewart is a judge... then I immediately change to another channel... reason being... not that she was jailed for insider trading... but that she didn't know $#*! about cooking until her "employees" created recipes and taught her how to cook them. While all the time she was a $#*! to them... I'M OUT AND WILL FOREVER BE ON ON CHOPPED AS LONG AS THIS $#*! IS A JUDGE... too bad... I watched chopped probably 20+ times a week... YOU JUST LOST A VERY LOYAL CUSTOMER BECAUSE OF YOUR CHOICE OF JUDGES... mainly ones that don't give 2 $#*!s about their employees... it's all about their $#*!ing egos!@

My favorite show on Food Network was chopped, cannot believe you chose to put Martha Stewart on as a judge! She is a convicted Thief! And yet you get rid of Paula Deen for a mistake she made 20 years ago. Can't even stand to watch chopped anymore. So sorry you chose to put that arrogant woman on a great TV show. Bye bye chopped

This season of next network star is a travesty, with Giada pouting and taking revenge on contestants that dare to criticize her. Clearly she has a winner already chosen. Her false Italian accent is only surpassed in annoyance but her provacative outfits. I refuse to validate such unprofessional behavior.

I'm done watching food network star and definitely Giada as she can't handle criticism. She wants her cooking to be judged by contestants of food network star but can't handle the feedback then boots one of if not the most consistent cook on the show. Low class person does that. Lost any respect from me. I'll say a prayer for you Giada as you need guidance to mature as a person and human being.

This show could be a real winner except for the "cooks". Sunny and Jeff are annoying and constantly talking over someone. Zarkarian seems out of place and embarrassed. The whole concept just doesn't work. I do not believe they have a real audience and I cringe whenever the clapping starts. If they had a real audience there would be some interaction. UGGG!

I am disappointed that they have become very limited and seem to mostly play chopped of some form or another over and over again. It was my go to channel to learn something new or get excited about food now Its just feels repetitive and uninspiring.

When I was watching Next Food Network Star tonight 6/2418 I noticed Bobby & Tyler have on suits & ties and Giada is sitting there in a party dress or what was that with the add on sleeves? It isn't the Giada show it is the Food Network Star show. What if the female contestants dressed that way. Then at the end of the show tonight the next dress is blue with no shoulders at all! She is the only one that dresses like she's headed to a party! Is she doing it because she's single now? Is it for Shane Farley? What message is she sending your audience. Professionalism is important in your network's image.
