Tried to book a flight and you have to call them to do so. When I did, I was quoted £200 more than was advertised. It is a complete con - I said that there were multiple flights listed on the website that were current and I had just checked them before I called. I then contacted the complaints number and was promised that they would look into the matter...she then came back and offered me one for £300 more. Just a huge, huge con - same on them
Booked a ticket and was willing to pay the credit card fee. Then Adan idiot returned call and said (ext - 1114), a travel consultant, had informed that only bank transfers were accepted for this ticket, wasting 45 minutes on the phone.Don't waste your time ringing this hopeless agency
Whatever you do stay clear of the Flights Guru. We had to sue them through the UK small claims court to force them to return £2k in flight deposits that they had refused to return when we had to cancel our flight. They overcharge for deposits contrary to UK law stating the amounts are non refundable when they have no justification for doing so. Todate TFG have not complied with the County Court Judgement (CCJ) and have a CCJ recorded against them. We intend to take further legal action against them for non payment.
Flight guru is the worst, they have just taken money and the flight was cancelled. I have emails saying I can rebook and they will use my credit but that never happened. Now they have taken the money and are not giving any credit either.

Theres a really low review for a reason never in my whole life have I ever experienced such poor service lost over a £1000 and eventually had to cancel as cost to change was double the price of the ticket and FLIGHT GURUs refused to give a breakdown finally when refund was actioned I was then advised I would have to wait 6 - 8 working weeks unbelievable and only going to receive £80 back from the £1000 just to amend a ticket look out for the manager called Alex you will soon realise they all have FAKE names because once they have your money it's game over and all the niceties and hidden charges come to bite you in the backside be warned people these guys are predators and have no conscience I am 74 and suffer from Parkinson's which they were aware of but still no remorse live been travelling all my life and have never been treated like this I wonder how ALEX treats his own parents who on earth hires such monsters I guess he will be getting a new name soon probably billy B more accurate

If your trip goes without a hitch and you don't need to change flights then all well and good. We used this company and were assured over the phone if flights needed to be changed we would incur a cost if the new flights were more expensive. That is totally acceptable. We knew this may be the case for us as my husband was donating a kidney in Australia and medically sometimes things don't go to plan. Unfortunately the worst happened and we had to change flights. This company charged us a massive £8000 after flights to and from Australia had to be re scheduled which they put down to "airport taxes". There is nothing on their terms and conditions or anywhere readable. If you try to complain they just put you back to the sales person who sold you the flights in the first place. We got a friend to go through the system to check flights and the cost had gone down. I cannot stress how awful this company are. No compassion given in our scenario. I have left it until we got home from the booked flights before submitting this. I emailed to complain to customer services months ago and still have had no response. As I said in the beginning BE WARNED. THIS COMPANY ARE UNETHICAL AND IMMORAL AND IT WILL COST YOU A LOT OF MONEY IF ANY OF YOUR PLANS NEED TO CHANGE.

I booked flights from NYC to London with Virgin. They cancelled and stole the money. Police informed.
THEY DESERVE ZERO STARS! 1 is the minimum.
I called the American Airlines 800 number from the AA.com website. Flights4u.com, a subsidiary of FlightGuru somehow intercepted my call. They took my record locator, American Advantage number and credit card number. I knew something didn't seem correct, but since I called the actual American number, I thought they were legitimate. After the call, I called back the same 800# from the website. This time, I was told American would call me back when an agent was ready. This is what normally happens.
When I spoke to a real American agent, she looked at my info and saw that someone from a 3rd party called in and cancelled my reservation. American was able to reinstate everything for me.
I had to change my AAdvantage number and cancel my credit card. Flight4u is a scam!
Omg, what a $#*!show. We used them for flights to Amman, Jordan in business class. They confirmed, the airline confirmed and now, one month before departure, the airline said they canceled. How can they cancel? We paid in full. They will not answer their phone or email. They want you to leave a message and they will return the call. It never happened.
We are going through our credit card company to get out $6000+ back.hopefully.

My recent experience with Flight Guru has left me utterly frustrated and disappointed. After receiving an email stating that my booking was "in process" and that I would receive further confirmation once the booking was confirmed, I was left hanging without any updates or clarity.
I was initially lured in by their promises and received an email stating, "Your order could not be completed. Please note that refunds may take several business days to post back to your account. We look forward to hearing from you next time you travel"
The term "refund" implies a return of funds for a service that was not rendered. However, I've been subjected to nothing but manipulation and mistreatment. Instead of honest communication, I was met with silence, and instead of a resolution, I received vague excuses about refund processing times.
It's been 4 months now, and still I haven't received any refund. This experience has left me feeling cheated, disregarded, and incredibly disappointed in their services. I strongly advise anyone considering booking through them to think twice. The lack of transparency, communication, and professionalism displayed in this situation is a clear indication of their inability to uphold their commitments to customers.
My hope in sharing this review is that others will be spared the frustration and disappointment I've experienced. As consumers, we deserve better treatment and service
Don't answer phones, the website goes dark. We found out they are taking our money and using miles. They are miles brokers - buy miles cheap and then have customers pay for the flights. Just know that if your flight is canceled or you need to change your flight - you cannot because your flight was booked with miles. Delta audits for tickets made by flight brokers. It would be one thing if they advertised that they are point brokers, but they don't. They take your money and then run. Do not buy tickets from them, buy from airline direct. We are out 2.7K. The guys are crooks.
I am very disappointed and upset with Flightguru. I purchased my ticket, paid an extra $49 for insurance, and now that I have a FAMILY MEDICAL EMERGENCY I can't get a hold of anyone! I called, held on for an infinite amount of minutes, emailed them, and yet still no response. I have a 93-year-old Great Uncle who was rushed to the hospital in London and does not have anyone here who can stay by his side, but me. I need to delay my flight and reschedule it with Flightguru and though I have stated this in my email and left a message no one has even bothered responding. This is pathetic. I AM ABOUT TO CONTACT THE NEWS AND SHARE MY STORY. Everyone should know how pitiful this company is and their total and complete lack of compassion. My flight leaves in hours and I need someone to help me with my ticket. They have my money and yet I don't have the help they claim to offer.
I booked a flight through flightguru.com and when I went to the flight website to look at my booking I entered the e ticket number which then it wants to send me a validation code but for some reason it's not my email nor my phones number it's flight guru "ticketing department " information. Why is it not my info. I called and got hung up on. Worst service ever. I just hope my ticket is legit.
This is definitely a scam business. I bought a plane ticket on their website but they responded 1 day later that the ticket could not be purchased. They did not issue a refund despite many weeks passing by. I had to contact them several times to get a hold of them.
I used this company to book tickets to Dubai. I paid the deposit to reserve the tickets and the payment deadline was for November. A week after I booked the tickets they moved the deadline to 7 days to pay the deposit. I was very annoyed by this so I told them I'd like the deposit back as they are changing the terms of our contract. After a lot of back and fourth they agreed to refund the deposit money. Weeks have gone by and I still have not received the deposit back. I have been calling and emailing with no response. I did a chargeback through AMEX and they are now threatening with legal action. UNACCEPTABLE COMPANY DO NOT USE STAY AWAY
We got a significantly lower fare by booking Japan Airlines from SFO to HND through FlightGuru. It did take a little over nine hours for FlightGuru to actually book the ticket, which made me a little nervous, since I don't really understand what is happening during that delay or how it's even possible for FlightGuru to save as much money as it seems like they did. I'd say that if you want the simplest experience, pay extra money and book directly with the airline, but if you don't mind a little uncertainty/delay, then you can save real money with FlightGuru. I plan to use FlightGuru in the future. I don't really understand the reviews on this site that claim that FlightGuru is a "bunch of thieves" --- while I imagine some FlightGuru customers may have legitimate reasons to be upset, nothing I've seen supports the idea that FlightGuru is trying to rip you off or steal anything.
Flightguru.com books through an un-known third party which can lead to the many strange billing issues, lack of confirmation, and itinerary changes outlined in many other reviews. We booked a couple of last minute flights for very good deals (which they seem to have regularly) which worked well. But when trying to book a flight in advance their prices are often double what you can find elsewhere! On one of our bookings with them we had to cancel a return flight and we were issued a refund by the airline. But, the refund went to the third party. In order to redeem it we tried 4 different times to book with Flightguru, but each time the cost was more with the refund than a flight we could book ourselves! The last time we tried to book using our refund, after several times calling and emailing to find a reasonable costing flight, they just ignored us and would not even return our calls or emails. In general they have very poor communication, and because of it, we lost a $450 refund.

Worst! Terrible! Junk company. Stealing money! Nobody takes care, they LIE and change their story, leaving you hit dead ends, on and on, forever and ever! I wish they were close. The worst staff, all of them! THIEVES! I do not know where are the supervisors and why trash people that work there do whatever they want - literally
