I felt that this is a great place for professionals looking for remote work opportunities especially in the non IT sector and for junior to mid level professionals. But, that doesn't mean there aren't opportunities for all. It is just that i could not find one such great opportunity. May be i missed something. I had an unpaid account access to FlexJobs. When trying to sign up for subscription, the website did not present a link or button to find the subscription page other than the Sign Up button at top right. I tried numerous times to click on Sign Up and fill out the log in information but it kept telling me I already had an account set up with that email and would not let me in to subscribe or review any subscription pricing. I tried changing my password, which it saved, but still would not give me access saying they already had an account using my email. I called the number on the site and the CSR worked through it with me by getting my permission to login and provide a temporary password on her end. She then had me try opening a new browser and logging in from scratch on my end. When I did it took me directly to the subscription page. She stayed on the phone at my request then to change my password, logout, and then make sure I could log back in without issue.

I had some questions, I used the chat system and when the agent came on he answered all my questions. One thing might of been better was if your chat system (not the actual agent) would answer the questions faster.

I was really intrigued by the ads that I saw from Flexjobs and was really excited to give it a try.
Sadly, this platform didn't provide any opportunities to the freelancers and also the mobile application is on the AppStore has region restricted to US.
Suggestions:
- Bring more volume of job opportunities for overseas talent.
- AppStore region restriction to be uplifted.

I subscribed to flexjobs $4 trial for 2 weeks. It was not stated how much the package would be after this trial had ended upon signup. I then forgot to cancel this subscription and so they took payment of $30. There was no email reminder from them that this was happening which is customary for companies to do. I contacted them to query this, I have been completely ignored. Multiple times now I have emailed them with no response. There is no customer service and so I will never be using this service again. Do not recommend, it is a farce.

Or there's not a lot of entry level jobs. Too many of them require way too much.
They don't sent out mail about when your trial is about to expire, so I end up getting charged for that month.
Pretty $#*!ty to not let you know that.
My coffee bean subscription even emails me about my order is about to be charged.
Lack the effort to tell ppl their trial or subscription is about to expire, you end up just stealing money secretly.

The billing department charged me a full month subscription well after I already canceled the subscription and account. I reached out to be refunded. They took 23.95 from my account, they only refunded me $10.26. When I reached out they, kept telling me I received my refund but would not speak to the full amount.
I finally was able to talk to someone on chat and they told me I didn't receive my full refund because I didn't reach out the same day that I was charged. First off, now I have a timeline to reach out for money that YOU wrongfully took from my account? What if I was busy and didn't see until later? Who checks their account every second of the day, and even if I didn't contact them right away there is no timeline on getting a refund on something you WRONGFULLY took. You shouldn't even still have access to my account. Secondly, I have proof that I sent in an email the very next day asking for the refund. It has now been close to a month of me asking for just the remaining $13, and I've had to jump through hoops just to get someone to answer straight. The last convo I had, I heard it was escalated higher and I would receive an email in 2-3 days. It's now well past that timeframe and nothing. The only thing to do now is report it with my bank.
It's sad that I have to do this with a company I at once was a member of, but if they don't do right by me I will continue to post everywhere until this matter is rectified.

This platform has misrepresented the leads available, particularly for legal professionals. Most of the leads are reposted from staffing agency platforms and not from the hiring organizations directly. I am very disappointed that I purchased access to this platform just to see leads I could have accessed for free on the website of the staffing agency. The suggested jobs I receive to my email are hardly if ever on point for my qualifications and I have no way to follow up or check the status of applications submitted. I wish I would have realized this when my account was still in the refund window. I feel this site capitalized on the desperation in the current job market and has sold false hope to job seekers looking for remote work.

Signed up for a "trial" period, which still requires you to pay $2.95 by the way, and I then got too busy and never got a chance to use it. So, I called customer service in January to cancel, and apparently that cancellation never went through, so now I've been charged a useless $50 because of FlexJobs error. And even though I have been allowed to *only* "submit a request" (meaning it's not even guaranteed) for at least a refund from the most recent charge, it was not even an option to request a refund for the first charge because it's been over 30 days, even though this is their error.
I find this to be tactless, especially when you are dealing with customers who are looking for income and need very penny they have. It just feels like you're taking advantage of people that are trying to figure out how to find work online. Bottom line: don't sign up for FlexJobs if you're not 100% sure you will have the time or end up using their resources.
