February 6, 2017

I have returned my broken fitbit over 3 weeks ago and I still have not received my refund. The customer service is the worst and I am very upset at this point!

Worthless
January 15, 2017

Received this as a gift for Christmas and as of Jan 15th I still cannot figure out how to synch on my computer. I had the weight watchers activity tracker for years and it was so simple. Download the site as per instructions set up on the tracker, log in and your done. Simple, straight forward., a pc illiterate person could do it. As for the website impossible to understand, printng is so light cannot be read. This gift needs to be returned. Bit of advice get anything but the fitbit.

My very first Fitbit Charge only lasted for a year before it broke. Ok, they're a new company. So I decided to give them another shoot and received the Charge HR 2. The first watch didn't sync to any of my devices and I spent 1.5 hours on the phone with customer service before getting a replacement. Then, the replacement would not even turn on. Then I spent another hour on the phone with customer service. What a waste of money. Fitbit is not a quality product built to last.

I had my fit bit aria scale since April 2014. I called today because it stopped syncing they said the sensors went out and they could do nothing for me. They only warranty their scales for 365 days. So basically you spend over $100.00 for a disposable scale. So sad the company does not look out for their customers. I own a fit bit too. I will never buy fit bit anything again. Nor will I recommend it to others.

Junk
December 23, 2016

Fit-Bit-Zip battery lasts less than a month returned it got money back. Junk

Fit-Bit-Flex was my wife's she gave it to me, battery lasts about two days. Junk

Fit-Bit-Alta was my Daughters she gave it to me, battery lasts about two days. Junk

I never bought one for myself because I could give a rats tooth how many footsteps I take each day. I know when I'm asleep, and darn if I don't know when I'm awake. Junk gadgets for the week minded, yes my Wife and Daughter are blondes so now you know why they were bought then given to me.

My Fitbit hr cracked. I contacted their online customer service, sent them a few pictures and they sent me a brand new one! I didn't even have to return the cracked one.

Replacement Disaster!
December 14, 2016

I used to love my fitbit. After only 5 months or so, the press bottom on the side sudenly broke. They "honor" the warranty, by sending me a cheap copy cat of the original fit bit, the band is made of a very stiff plastic, the app can no longer be use with this ridiculous "replacement"... it has been a nightmare!
Customer service is a total failure!
Today, I finally gave up and bought me a GarminHR!

It is true that it is not totally accurate, My first model fitbit charge mades steps when I talked with my hands and so does the Charge2, but it is a good indication of activity and inspires me to move. It tells you how much you sleep, but I don't use it all the time for that, because it turns on when I move and lights up enough to wake me up. That needs to be fixed! None of these things are perfect, but this one is the best for me.
Update: I gave my fitbit Charge to my daughter because I bought the Charge2. I don't think the Charge 2 is supposed to be waterproof, but I forgot and went snorkling for about a 1/2 hour with it on and 4 months later still working perfectly.

I had a Charge for about 6 months and the battery would no longer recharge. Fitbit graciously replaced it with an Alta. Unfortunately, the band on the Alta cannot be closed unless you have another person do it for you. I reported this to Fitbit and they graciously sent me a replacement wristband, which they said would have a different clasp. It arrived and it had exactly the same ridiculous design as the first one. I offered to pay the $20 difference in the retail price for the Alta and Charge2 and that was not in "accordance" with their policies. The only remedy I was offered was a 6 month free use of an online app or 25% off alternative Fitbit, which essentially means they want $90 from me to get a Charge2 to replace my defective Charge. Terrible customer service! No wonder the company is struggling!

I ordered the fitbit2 as a birthday gift online. I got an email a week after it was due to be delivered saying my credit card company had not recognised their company and payment could not be made. I called my credit card company and cleared it with them then had to make 8 calls to Fitbit to try and get payment sorted. Calls were redirected to Bulgaria, India and Spain and no one could follow up in this order. In the end- cancelled my order and ordered it from Amazon. Would NEVER order from Fitbit again! NOT EVEN 1star customer service!

NEVER BUY THIS GARBAGE!
November 1, 2016

I like Heather M had the same service. My watch was defective after less than a year and was replaced, 5 months later the same thing happened to the replacement. Also was given a lousy 25% off my next purchase. With such awful service and pride of a product I will make sure EVERYONE knows to buy something else cause this is a cheap product and the service is sub standard. STAY AWAY!

Disappointing
October 31, 2016

My first Charge hr was replaced wirhin the first year, since it was under warranty. It would mot charge. The second one is giving me the same problem, also it will not sync. I have been told to purchase a new one and have been offered a 25% discount. I am so disappointed in the product, how can two trackers in 1 1/2 years time be useless in such a short time? They just aren't worth the money if they don't last.So why would I even consider buying another one. I am a fitness Instructor, I won't be recommending fitbit to anyone.

I want more!
October 15, 2016

I have had a Fitbit flex for over two years now and I just recently upgraded to the Fitbit blaze. I really like it but I wish you could do more of what's on the app on the watch. I love the sleep function but you can't see that on the watch. I also want to be able to set different bed times for the weekend then weekdays. Another cool possible upgrade could be to be able to add water on the watch. I'm over all happy with this product and I'm excited to see what's next

The worst customer service ever
After only four months My fit bit Alta battery stopped working so I had to send it back to the company. It took a month and I had to contact them over 20 times through email and telephone calls to get it replaced. This is absurd! I don't know how they stay in business.

Hi All

Well, I have been a Fitbit fan for over a year and a half, loved the product however after a year and a half or using the product and regular updates my Fitbit got stuck in the firmware update position.

After numerous international calls (I live in South Africa) to the helpline (South African agents referred me to the head office), they say there is nothing they can do but offer me a 25% discount on a new product as the product is out of warranty

I find this completely unacceptable and disgusted that they do not take responsibility for their products. I can understand if it was wear and tear or other issues, but the failure is a direct result of their update that they pushed to my watch. I would like to ask if there are any people in the same situation or similar, as I will simply not rest on this matter.

Please could you respond to this forum or email on *******@gmail.com

I do expect that this post will be removed by Fitbit, as they do not stand by their product

I would like to understand how many other people have the same or similar issues.

Why is there only one Fitbit product that vibrates so you can feel it!? The Charge HR vibrates for phone calls and silent alarms. You can feel it! The new Charge 2 is worthless for notifications! Also, customer service for this company is perfectly dreadful.

I've been a fitbit customer for 3 years and used the Fitbit Zip which the company gave all Shasta Climbers to train with. The product was great, just some battery issues and in the end I lost the zip. I thought I would upgrade and just bought the Fitbit One. What a huge mistake ordering it from Fitbit over Amazon or any other customer service friendly company. The product is defective, screwed up my iphone's Siri and I have to pay out of pocket to mail it back. Couldn't get anyone at Fitbit to help. They are horrrible. Would never recommend or use another of their products sadly even though I am in the fitness industry.

Fitbit HR
September 7, 2016

Services provided are great but the product itself is CHEAP, watch will easy bubble up around the watch face. The charger connection on the watch will also start to come apart. Not worth the money, the services it provides are great but the watch is very poor quality.
