We were hoping for Mahi Mahi but the 6 hour trip was too short to go for our target, convinced to fish the bay, caught a few. Went to local fish market for mahi to prepare for dinner.
Captain was not familiar with good fishing sites. Put crew in harms way by anchoring in the middle of the canal. Got very close to being hit by a large diving boat. Boat was not seaworthy to navigate in open sea on 2-3 foot waves. I would not recommend this boat.

Had a Great trip. Captain and Deck hand were awesome. Had good gear, and accommodated us with a LH reel. Super friendly attitude, Didn't trip off loosing a weight or 2. Helpful the whole time and put us on the fish/crab!

The fishing trip was great! Lots of waters and drinks which and great tunes, all greatly appreciated. We left on time and came back on time. We caught two dorado (mahi-mahi) on our trip. The two captain's were great and worked hard! We missed a few bites so unfortunately, we didn't get our marlin! They sure did try though! They filleted our fish for us and we took the fresh catch to Eddie's Place on the other side of the marina and it was delicious! The overall experience was great and we would highly recommend this company to book your next trip!

Family of 8, grandparents, daughter and her five guys going for the first offshore trip for five or six of them. Beautiful half day experience for the whole family. Weather interfered with first date but Lucky Strike guys were very accommodating and put us on for the next day. Everyone caught fish and more than that had a very enjoyable family time due to the courtesy of our captain, Ed Elliott, and our first mate.

The Crew on the Santa Elana were GREAT! They were very friendly and went out of their way to ensure us having a great time and to also catch fish. I would definitely refer this Business for anyone looking to enjoy themselves and have a wonderful time.

We were on a trip to Florida before my husband was being deployed and during his birthday. As a surprise for his birthday, I booked a fishing trip for him.
Unfortunately the weather forced a cancelation on his birthday.
Captain Dave graciously agreed to reschedule 2 days later when the weather cleared enough to go out. We were on a time crunch due to flying back home.
We each caught fish even though the conditions were less than optimal but we really enjoyed the experience. It was colder than normal and windy, I think we brought the weather down from the north!
He was very informative, helpful, and easy to get along with.
Two of the selling points to choosing Captain Dave and his pontoon boat were that it wasn't ocean fishing where I wasn't sure we wouldn't get sea sick and the fact it was just us. With it being my husband's birthday and the short time we had together before him being deployed for a year, this was very important to me.
It was a great experience and he loved his birthday present!
We would definitely do this fishing trip again in the future!

It was a great experience. I have been on numerous chartered fishing trips. But, this is the 1st chartered trip my sister has been on. She really enjoyed it, and already looking forward to the next chartered trip. She also, caught about 4 fish to every 1 I caught. She has bragging rights. (But I don't mind). I live and work in San Antonio, TX., and my coworkers are possibly interested in going, also.

The Captain and crew were very persistent and patient trying to get us a Marlin. We hit a Marlin in the last ten minutes of trip. Also hit two dorado at the same time and chaos ensued. However the crew handled it great!

Sascha and the other two gentlemen that I totally forget there names were amazing. We were picked up at the resort on time and once we got to the boat it didn't take much time at all to throw the lines and head out into deep water. The boat was extremely clean and loaded with everything we needed, even sodas, beers and water. They are all very knowledgeable and the find the bird technique was spot on. You see birds you catch fish. We caught 19 black and yellow fin tuna and got some cut up right on the boat marinated for a bit in jerk seasoning, of course. On the way in they took us by a huge reef to see it's beauty. They were never looking at watches and completely took there time with my wife and I. We are heading back there very soon and have all ready made plans to book them again so my wife can catch that big one she's hoping for. It was an amazing experience

If you want to communicate with your guide, this is the wrong agent. Mine was one way and very frustrating. We both used our common sense and got connected. Luckily, he told me the make and size of his boat so I knew what to look for. Every time I attempted to answer him I got sent to the Fishing Booker login page, which didn't work correctly. Once I paid them (up front) they could and should let us communicate freely.

We had a beautiful day with just a bit too much chop near shore. Luis found fish inshore. We caught a lot of small Spanish mackerel and bluefish on light tackle. It was lots of fun

Booking the experience based on reviews was very easy, but the fishing experience itself was horrible. Starting off with leaving the dock about 20 min late, once we left we had everyone pass us, even pontoon boats, might have seen a kayak pass us, had our hopes up based on all the reviews however the captain that was on all the reviews wasn't even our captain. For hours we trolled, didn't explore other options since trolling wasn't catching anything. And when we finally caught something it was a 9 in tuna and we had to keep our reels inside the rocket launcher. The bait was minimal. Captain used a ballyhoo slice it in thin layers and used 1 ballyhoo for 5 lines out for the rest of the day. Towards the last hour they decided to come closer to the beach, right off the inlet where we caught an ok sized barracuda. For $975 and a 20%gratuity that wasn't included I would have preferred to spend $100 on bait walk to the inlet and catch fish there.
Overall a good experience. The captain was very helpful and friendly throughout. Had two fairly large snappers break the line, which made me question why a steel bite leader wasn't used. Captain says they spook at the bite leader, but would have love to try anyway. Caught 4 Dorados, two of which were great fish.
