We had a so so experience. We had a trip rescheduled because of issues with the steering which was fine. The crew was less than friendly that first morning and did not communicate with us with more than 10 words.
Second trip the boat worked wonderful. The crew was friendly and happy in the afternoon. The boat is a little dated but we wanted to fish not worried about how the boat looked. The fishing gods were not on our side and we did not catch anything in 5 hours on the water…… the captain did all he could do from what we could tell. I wish we had been able to go out on our original morning trip but was happy they let us comeback and at least try the afternoon. I can't blame anyone on not catching anything that's why they call it fishing. Just would have made a difference on how the trip ended.

We went out with Captain Tyler with Born and raised charters out of Goodland. He took my dad and I out on the back waters, where it looked like a maze of mangroves. We got to experience dolphins jumping along with our wake, which made the trip twice as good. Can't forget the best part, we didn't know much about setting up a pole so he helped us out with that and put us in the right spot. After he helped us we were hooking them on faster than we thought! He knows the back water inside and out! I would highly recommend Captain Tyler with Born and Raise charter! He will put you on fish! AMAZING EXPERIENCE!

Fishing Booker was good with the follow up but BlueFinn Charters took us out when there was a small craft warning one day. In our next day the seas were even worse 10-12) so we canceled directly with the captain who then refused to fully refund for the day. I understand he needs to make a living but this was dangerous and we should have been refunded the entire day despite what his faulty refund policy states.

Harry, we're sorry your trip couldn't go ahead and that we couldn't reach an agreement between you and the captain about the deposit refund. On our end, we refunded the amount that had been paid to us for the trip that had been canceled, but unfortunately we aren't able to step in with the funds that were paid directly to the captain. We understand how disappointing this must have been for you and hope we can help you arrange a more successful trip soon.
The boat showed up early. It was clean and in excellent condition. The crew of, Augustus, Miquel, and Victor, made us feel at home. We caught two nice Barracuda. I hooked a really big one, but as fish stories go... it got away. I will definitely be back in April to try again for something bigger. They fed us, made sure we had plenty to drink. It was an amazing experience and a beautiful day!. I can't wait to go back. Thank you Pedro and team. I will see you in April!

Had a wonderful time at Blue Fin charters. Captain Keith and his assistant were amazing. He was great with my kids. Provided lunch and showed us a place that would cook the fish that we had caught. When we come back to the Bahamas we will call him and recommend anybody else do the same.

Captain Leng of Kraken Sportfishing was terrific! He was knowledgeable, friendly and professional! Of course, most importantly, he showed my daughter and her boyfriend a good time AND where BEST to catch the fish! We enjoyed blackened rockfish and sheepshead fish tacos and Ceviche for dinner that night! The fish was so fresh and delicious! Thank you, Captain Leng! Can't wait to do it again!

We booked a full day "all inclusive" charter for 5 with Fish On. Captain and Crew were fantastic. Boat was clean and equipment was in great working order. Charter booking was easy and accurate and allowed for direct communication with our Captain in advance.

Had a great time fishing for 3 hours. Captain put us on a dozen spots where fish school. Provided water and food (although we declined food until we were back on shore). I went and met with him the day before the trip since he has no street address but where he keeps his boats are easy to find. Will use him again when I return to the DR.
