The reasons are the following:

1) The shipping is very slow. I ordered on July 7. The package didn't arrive until July 29.
2) Very irregular sizing. I usually wear S or XS. I ordered a M for a shirt, and a S for a maxi dress (there were only two choices for this one, S or L). Both items are way TOO small and impossible to wear.
3) Slow or non customer support. I filed a request for exchange on July 29 and received an response to tell me to wait for their contact. I am STILL waiting. (Update: Still no further contact. Today is September 21)

Bottom line: I would discourage anyone from shopping at this site.

I gave 1 star because there was nothing less than a 1 star. Just received my order of 8 dresses from this scam online shop,. None of them fit, all are cheap rip offs of the originals on the site, no hems were stitched, all slits were simply cut with a scissors and not stitched ZIG ZAG VISIBLE STITCHING ALL OVER THE PLACE. Fabrics were all synthetic CRAP CRAP CRAP. I could get better quality for 5 pounds at PRIMARK! Complete and total SCAM!

And yes all the positive reviews are paid for,,, Seriously! No genuine website has 100% positive reviews from customers, ask yourself why they have purposely posted PAID positive reviews so the GENUINE ones drop off this webpage?

ATTENTION - READ BEFORE BUYING OFF FASHION MIA- All the good comments you see are from those who need to write them to get a refund. You cannot get a refund or credit unless you write a good review. NONE of their clothes fit and they are the worst quality you can find. You can't get a refund and they are the most dishonest company I know. I got double charged and could not get my money back and then i had to use the funds the took from my credit card as a credit. I had to buy another jacket and it is XL and may fit a 8 year old. BE WARNED AND SPREAD THE WORD.

I ordered a summer dress and it had a lead time of 3-5 business days to ship then another 5-7 days to get to me. Well this was a joke. I dont think I will ever get to wear this dress because summer will be over before I get it. I emailed the company asking for a tracking number and got a response saying it still has not shipped yet. It has been three weeks (not back ordered) and still has not shipped.

I demanded an explanation or some form of compensation and she said that it was because the dress was customized even though the website said nothing about customization, not sure where she came up with that information. She also said she can compensate me and give me a $5 coupon... SERIOUSLY?! WHY THE F*** WOULD I WANT TO CONTINUE BUSINESS WITH YOU?! Seriously, what world do these people live in. I demanded a refund and to not send me the dress. I have yet to hear back from them

What a total and complete joke and waste of time. Do not give this company business

I had 2 orders from Fashionmia, when I received the orders, I felt very upset for the clothes quality; it looks totally different with the website picture of the items. The pictures look good quality, but the real item I got that are very bad quality. One of item's decorative appurtenance is sewed at different place, (the picture is sewed near neckline, but the real one is sewed in the middle of the thorax/chest with defect sewing), I don't feel it is the same one, and sleeves are extremely small (not possible to fit to regular arm, there is no arm size information on the item information). I understand the pictures may look better than the real ones, but these 2 items are too much worse than I expect, (it seems they use good one to take picture, but sell you a bad one, that is what I feel). I don't think the company in China will give me cash refund and I am not interested in exchanging the bad clothes, I may just trash it and never come back this website.

I ordered 2 dresses according to the size chart provided. When they arrived, 3 to 4 weeks later because it took at least 2 weeks to process my payment, they were too small around the waist. I can't breathe in them but everything else about the dresses is perfect. A little concerned about what they are made of because all it says is 'blended'. Blended with what exactly?

Customer Service was fast when responding and very polite though. They offered vouchers and coupons to offset the cost of the small dresses.

Ok here is the update to my complaint, they sent me and email on 7/22 stating that they would refund for both dresses minus the $6.95 I spent in S&H the first time and not the $26.09 that I had to return the dress. They say it takes 7-15 business days and they will keep me informed, well today makes 8 days so I sent a request for a status update for me refund. We will see. I also notice that when I sign in it no longer says my name, it just says customer, funny! Customer I am no more for sure... the saga continues!
