After reserve tickets for 3200$, I got phone call from a lady the next day, saying the tickets are seats only, no baggage, I told her that is ok. Ill purchase luggage fees at the airport. She was irritated and claimed that I can't. And I need to change the dates of travelling and paying +6000 $ to purchase different tickets. They are fishy and sound like online pirates.
Recently bought tickets, then next day they called and was told the ticket was restricted was not able to even take a personal bag and couldn't pay for checked baggage. Who travels for 2 weeks without a bag checked or unchecked. If I cancelled it would cost me, so only other option was to upgrade which I did but I felt ripped off. They charged me additional fees which they noted were taxes but noticed they charged separately. Basically, a bad experience which left me feeling ripped off. They are not transparent with the "additional fees" they are charging. Beware of 3rd party flight vendors, I don't recommend this site at all!
Scam website. Made reservations online. Waited almost 1 week and did not receive confirmation email. Called the airline and no tickets under our name. Booked directly a new flight with airline directly. Almost 2 weeks later, within 24 hours from the original flight time, receive a call from farebuddies. At first I thought it was the airline calling for the new reservation. However, the person from farebuddies did not speak well English. She tried to upscale the cost by trying to collect additional fees for baggages (although the original purchase included baggages). When we said we did not need any baggages appeared to be upset and was saying that the return flight was not confirmed and cost would need to go up. I did realized it was not the airline but rather them trying the bait and switch scam. They said the purchase was non reimbursable (even thought they claim that the return flight was no longer available). However it did not appear that they ever changed my card and were simply trying to change a larger amount. After menacing them thst I would report them as scammers on my credit card, they transfer me to a manager which tried to argue and change me more. Finally, he said no need to report as scam since my card was not changed and thst he would cancel the reservation. I did call my bank, reported the scam and csncelled my card.
Booking a flight can sometimes be a stressful experience, but Phil made the entire process smooth and enjoyable. I felt like I was in capable hands every step of the way, and the level of professionalism displayed by Phil was truly commendable.

Firstly, when I called to follow up on an infant bassinet for my flight, I was met with the utmost rudeness from the so-called "travel agent." Instead of providing assistance, she shamefully berated me for booking a flight on short notice, which was entirely uncalled for.
To make matters worse, the agent claimed that the airline had a 104-person waitlist and insisted that I had purchased a standby ticket. This information was completely false, and it left me feeling deceived and frustrated.
What shocked me the most was the abysmal customer support I received. The agent not only provided inaccurate information but also had the audacity to hang up on me when I questioned her about the situation. This type of behavior is simply unacceptable and reflects poorly on FareBuddies as a whole.
Based on my experience, I strongly advise against using FareBuddies for any travel bookings. Their poor customer support, coupled with misleading and rude behavior, demonstrates a lack of professionalism and integrity. There are plenty of other reputable travel agencies out there that prioritize customer satisfaction and provide reliable assistance. Spare yourself the frustration and find a more trustworthy service provider.
Their website has misrepresented information. They sell economy tickets that are very restrictive and based on info from the customer service representative, do not allow any carry-ons unless extra fees are paid. I was provided this information after the fact, even though my ticket said "economy" not "restrictive economy" When I offered to email a screen shot, I was told not to bother. When I asked for a refund, based on their website description, the representative started arguing with me, wanted to charge me fees, even though their website says no cancelation fees. I will never use their services again. There are plenty of companies out there that I would rather deal with.
I bought a ticket for my son to fly from Seattle to Banjul on January 18th, 2023. The first problem I had was about his baggage. Farabuddies hides baggage information from clients through out the transaction then sprang a hefty baggage fee on you after you paid for the ticket. They will tell you there was no baggage fees included in the original ticket fees, not even a hand luggage. I had to pay extra over $290 for his baggages!
Unfortunately he became anxious and missed the flight and I called to reschedule the flight on the same day. An agent by the name of Robert, who sold the original ticket to me, attended me again. He was very helpful on that day but after keeping me on hold for several minutes, he told me he has found the suitable flight for February 8th, as I requested. He will further confirm and call me shortly to complete the change and I would pay for any difference if applicable at the time. I waited for call the whole day but he never called as promised.
When I called 3 days later I was told that Agent Robert was NOT AVAILABLE, but he will call me in 2 to 3 hours later. I waited for 4 hours, no one from Farabuddies called.
So I called again and got Agent Robert only for him to tell me that my ticket is wasted and l have to pay for a new ticket for my son. I was furious and asked for the reason. He brought in his supervisor who tried to justify that because they returned my call on January 18th but I didn't pick the call. He later hung the phone on me!
Carlos was awesome to work with, he listened to my needs and fulfilled them all. Found me a great flight.
