Please don't listen to the drivel on here about Circle of Moms being a bad site. It is a good site, one on which I have met many wonderful women who have become trusted and loyal friends. As with any online forum, you will run into people who you do not see eye to eye with, that's just life. But rest assured, the Administration of Circle of Moms is fair, they do not kick people off of their website for no reason or to centure their political beliefs. Women who have been removed from COMs have broken the guidelines of the forum and violated rules, even if they can't take personal responsibility for their own actions. Brenda (and friends), what do you not understand about your termination? You violated No THUMPS! You put up a list of names in an open forum and accused women of things of which you had no proof, and no provocation as far as I'm concerned. You are seriously deranged and deluded. Take responsibility for yourself and your actions. The Admins of COMs want it to be a safe place for people, and they try their hardest to make it so.

People should come and judge for themselves what they think of this forum. I would suggest joining some of the smaller groups, that is where you meet like-minded moms that you can get to know very well! Hope to see everyone there!

I joined COM thinking that it was an unbiased site that allowed moms to come together in their common beliefs and talk about the things that mattered to them. At first that is just what the site offered and I couldn't have been happier with COM. Sadly, that was not to last. Soon after, other people with opposing views that did not belong to our group began targeting us and the Admin for COM refused to do anything about it. Soon members of the group I was in began being targeted the ADMIN of COM, disciplinary action was taken against members of our group simply for reporting the ill behavior of the other women attacking us. They have kicked out women from our group for supposedly breaking the rules when reporting the attacks and yet the women that attacked us (not only with slander but with profanity and derogatory remarks) are still in COM and not one person has brought disciplinary actions against them. I have never felt so discriminated in my life! I would not recommend this site to anyone.

Circle of Moms is a great place to be... just so long as you can follow a few very basic rules. If you post racist jokes... have your cronies tell you how HILARIOUS they are... then stalk people who disagree with you and flag all of their posts... you'll have a great time! Luckily I have only known of two people on the entire community to behave in such a manner... and blaming it on a crazy, lunatic, liberal conspiracy isn't going to change that.

Circle of moms has been a great experience for me. I've been a member for well over a year. With the good comes the bad though. There are groups of women who will not stop, even if you ignore them and do not respond to them in any way. Happily the administration of this site are on top of things. They have a No THUMPS rule which stands for No Threats, Hate speech (slurs or stereotyping), Unlawful use, Misrepresentation (no fake profiles), Personal attacks (abuse, vilify or slander other members), and Spam (no advertising or solicitation). This rule covers any and all common problems that arise. Personal attacks are generally what will get a person banned from the site. I know of 2 members that have gotten banned for blatantly breaking this rule multiple times, even after being given a warning.

On the whole though it is a great site. I've met some GREAT women all over the globe. I've made some great friends here as well. Smaller groups are where I would advise new members to go though and stay there. Where you can find your niche, from political affiliations to hobbies to groups of moms with children the same age as yours. Circle of Moms really does have it all and with 8+ million women and more logging on every day, it's obviously a hit!

COM is a diverse site where mothers of all walks of life can come together to interact with and ignore each other. Religion, Politics, Ethnicity and all of the differences we have, COM isn't a FOCUS of those parts of our lives - a lot of women forget that -- it's a great place to focus on the 1 thing we have in common - being a mom.

There are some women who turn COM into their personal 'battleground' where they feel there is a necessity to conquer those who think / believe differently. MThey take the smallest differences and have turned them into personal vendettas. They make it into some sort of personal QUEST to demean, belittle and conquer the opposition. Anything and anyone that does not agree with their 'idea' of what they figure is right -- even people that openly say they are the same affiliation -- that person must be 'taught a lesson' in any way necessary, even MONTHS after any interaction.

Sticking to the smaller groups and taking the time to observe as much as you participate your experience can be wonderful on Circle Of Moms. Don't let yourself get sucked into the petty BS and if you happen to have your name slung through the mud for no apparent reason other than you disagree - just remember that No THUMPS will be there to help you.

Stick to the guidelines and COM can be the PERFECT place to learn and help while interacting with some of the most wonderful, intelligent and caring individuals I have ever met.

Circle of Moms is a great community -- you can find advice and support about anything. Please ignore Brenda's rating. She was kicked off of the site because she made false and disparaging personal attacks against other members on a public forum, which was a clear and blatant violation of the site's rules. It had nothing to do with her politics, despite her efforts to portray herself as a victim.

I wanted a place to discuss and rant about daily political news with other moms. Found the site to be a place where trolls rule and fairness is only on the side of these bullies. Made good friends of mutual interest, but definitely too much drama. I gave the site two chances. First on an open forum, then again on a private forum (trolls came in under pseudonyms and flagged legitimate member's posts and COM administrator chose the side of trolls). Very disappointed!

It been since Thanksgiving Holiday and still not answer from Joyce from Sexy City now call Shopping City. I like the game, but hate the fault advertisement, they don't and want dealer what they advertise.

This website was great until the liberal women decided to personally attack the women who didn't agree with them. They obviously have nothing better to do than to be on the computer all day and decide how to viciously attack other women. If you agree with them, then great you will be their best friend, but if you don't agree, you'd better watch out.

I joined this community hoping to make new friends and share/receive advice from other mothers. While I did make some friends, most of the mothers are negative and felt the need to personally attack other moms on the site. They were belittling to so many mothers just trying to seek advice on better ways to raise their children. Trying to bring these problems to the Admin. Of the site was joke. She never seemed to take care of any of the problems that I put forth to her. She ignored them and let them continue.

I would never return to that site and I would NEVER suggest this site to anyone else.

This site is a flashback to the 'good ol' highschool' days where bullies seem to rule. There are different groups of women on a multitude of different groups which find it amusing to belittle someone for their beliefs. They are also about as unladylike as a mother can get. They use harassing crude language and the administration of the site just happen to be members of this little 'elite' clique. If you have a complaint about anyone in their clique, they will kick you off their website without warning. I speak from personal experience. They kicked me off when I called a few of them on their beastly behavior.

The site tends to cater to the liberal side and is not unbiased in any way. If you are conservative, this is a site to definitely stay away from.

I dislike all the apps, but I like the ability to track down old friends. This might be stalkerish, but privacy settings usually allow users to limit information.

We think that there should be an other button when you chose your gender.
What about the hermaphrodites, or transsexuals, or people who want to be animals. We feel that websites are being discriminative by classifying Only "male and female".

I think Fackbook is great. It allows me to keep my friends up to date about my life in one easy place. It has allowed me to connect with many people from my youth that I lost contact with. It is a great help.

I can not believe that facebook wants people to verify if they are a real person now if they want to use a user name. Facebook now have this phone call requirement to call people that desire a user name. This so-called verification makes NO sense and is useless. Anybody can sign up to facebook with a fake first and last name BUT if they want to have a user name facebook wants people to verify if they are a real person! This makes absolutely NO sense. Who do they think they are, the FBI? Unbelievable! There are a lot of better sites than facebook like Hi5, skyrock and even myspace which has improved. Plus, myspace lets you have your own page with any user name of choice for public viewing. So, I had enough of facebook! If you ask me, facebook sucks!

This site does not give you one thing they promise, which is a one of the three positions left to list items that are auction listing ready--all you have to do is list it. First you must become certified in auction listing, which is 10 lessons on selling on Ebay. They also tell you that you only need to understand the material, but you will not be using it. I read the 10 lessons, passed the test on each lesson, and went to step 2, There I went nowhere. I called them, and they took me to a place where I could sign up and give my credit card to DOBA, which is a drop shipping company. I was to get products and do all the work they told me about in the lessons, and sell on Ebay. This is NOT the "position" they lured me in with. They also told me from the beginning if I was not happy with the program any time in the next 90 days, I could have a refund of my $97. When I asked for it 10 days later, they told me I had to work at it and I would make money. I told them this was not the promise their ad offered me and I wanted my money back. I waited 30 minutes on hold, kept being told to leave my name and number and someone would call me back. Of course, that never happened. So, I disputed it with my credit card company. Do not know yet if there has been any success on getting the money back.

A few days later, I received another email with another just like this one with the name Cathy Banks and the picture of the same person as the Emily Thomas site had. So, they are duplicating it for others to use for money. This one wanted even more money than the Emily Thomas one.

Facebook has revolutionised social networking on the internet. However, in making all the millions, they have completely ignored their customers. Getting to the "contact us" form is convoluted, and I have STILL not received ANY reply to 2 questions I asked 5 and 6 months (!) ago!

FAQ is great - but when there are problems, we need HUMAN support. And that does not include copy & paste replies from an outsourced call-center.
