Based on having little to no options, this site seemed the most legitimate and thankfully the cheapest route for a pair of custom shoes that I got for my boyfriend. The shoes themselves were very reasonable and the shipping cost about the same but thats was expected as they were made and shipped from China. Quality and style could not have been better. He has yet to wear them to a con yet. I like that there are options for Velcro and zipper on the boots. Shipping did take a while but partly due to DHL messing up and sending the package to the wrong house which thankfully got sorted out.

Ezcosplay has always been a reliable service for me. I have used them for several full cosplay sets over the past two years, and as long as you order at a reasonable time, the order almost always arrives in time to wear it. (Seriously - the people complaining about the wait are the western buyers that order it a week before it's needed when the tailoring time is 6 to 9 days and it ships from China. Think ahead, people...) The costumes are of moderate to high quality, and for most costumes, the material is thick and not at all flimsy. I never find an issue with the make as the quality is far better than most cosplay outfits I've found elsewhere. It's not cheaply or mass-produced, so the product is usually worth the money. I find so far sizes tend to run a little larger than expected, but I would rather it run a half size or less larger than be too small.

The only issues I tend to have are with the little accessories like loop/ties on seifuku cosplays being too small for the ribbon to go through.

Unfortunately for me, I had originally ordered my boots too small. So I had to reorder them in the correct size which was difficult because I don't understand the difference between US foot size and metric measurements. I ended up paying about 150-160 US dollars total between the 2 orders and their shipping. Customer response times were very slow since they only respond to my emails once a day. Once I finally recieved my orders, both 4 days over due through DHL, I must say I was pleasantly surprised by the boots considering the base price. However, I'll still hold back for a while because of the customer service.
