I have lost track of how many pairs of glasses I have ordered from EyeBuyDirect. I have ordered them for myself, my mother, and also my father. I have only had to return one pair if I recall correctly, and that was due to them being too big for my face (which was my own error). Their customer service has also been good to me the few times I have had to contact them. Keep in mind, you tend to get what you pair for with this company. I have only had one pair of frames break on me - they were some fairly cheap frames though ($9 without prescription). As long as nothing drastically changes, I intend to be a long time customer.
I used to love this site but now it has become like a Chinese fish market. Too many bait tactics that are frustrating and lure for more money. As an example, when you apply Screen Protection to lenses, they charge double the amount of money when one is ordering reading glasses Vs when one is ordering distance glasses. This is the same screen protection for god's sake. They know that the customers of reading glasses will very likely buy it but for distance readers, it's an optional thing...
I'm a fan and would recommend to a friend. 5 stars for the price. Cons: I have had several frames break (style "chilling") and the film has seemed to go critically away after 1.5 years (i am buying a replacement now) but the cost and convenience is in line. Thank you

This was the first time I have purchased from EBD. The websites use of cookies kept crashing the site. It took me forever to place my order because I had to keep clearing cookies. So Annoying! I have not received my glasses yet and I am hoping that they are at least of medium quality. It is al least 25% of what I normally pay at the office and the selection is greater than Costco. I will update when I get my glasses.

This company didn't only charge me two but three time for one pair of glasses. I had to cancel my cards and then they sent me a tracking number for overnight shipping a week ago. And still haven't gotten them! The customer service sucks.

I have loved being able to mix and match my frames for an affordable price, however I have had quite the issue with the durability of the glasses. Compared to other frames, these break and come apart quite easily. Also, the shipping process takes a ridiculous amount of time.
I have been a customer of Eye Buy Direct for 4 years now and they have never failed me. I have lost 2 of the 3 pair I purchased and Eye Buy Direct always come to my rescue. This is my saving grace website and a huge money saver on eyeglasses.
I know how to order glasses through your site and I did call y'all, to cancel part of my order. I found another company that offers fashion glasses for an amazing price. I think I'm jumping the fence, y'all had me looking plain and that is just not me. I get stopped all the time about my glasses and my son is a hit at school, we can't down grade because y'all lost your marbles. We have picture day coming up, 1st grade is no joke. Ha. No bad feelings, hope to see y'all around in the future, with some on point frames!
They don't have much to choose from, they need more color, more style. I usually buy 6 pairs for my son and six for me. This time I ordered only three pairs each, and that was difficult.

I love everything about this place. As long as you know your prescription and size, the world is yours. The eyeglasses arrive promptly and as beautiful as they are in the pictures on the site. I've bought so many pairs of glasses here that I've lost count. It's the only place I've shopped for glasses for at least 4 years now.
My husband is slightly irresponsibly with his belongings. I ordered him a pair in June and he loved them. He just broke them today (stepped on them). Was able to get him a new pair in a couple of minutes for $11. Only takes like a week to get them so I'm very pleased with this company.
Could be more helpful to suggest lense size needed for proper glasses to size of face, had difficulty choosing right frames because progressive lens needs to be a larger size, or you won't have enough vision in distance, or one of the other sight choices.
I played the "Spin the Wheel" game and proceeded to review frames and then purchase glasses. The site literally did not work after ten attempts. I thought it was due to the discounts being provided through the Wheel game. I try different ways to get my order to go through but I kept getting a "try again" message. Tonight, I randomly logged on and tried to submit my order and it FINALLY went through. I'm excited about the frames so I hope that it will alleviate my frustration and the delay caused.

Answer: Or you can be like me and have not received your order after more than a month of waiting. Granted, I'm in Guam, but given that the USPS works here pretty much the same way it works in the states, no other retailer has any problem getting their packages to me in a timely manner. The company has sent me two different tracking numbers for the same package. The tracking report from the post office says the package was supposed to be here 12 days ago and the last time it appears the package was scanned was 24 days ago. I have emailed the company multiple times and every time they reply with some generic apology and continue to stall. The package clearly got lost in the mail, I get that and I am typically a reasonable person but any respectable merchant intent on providing good customer service in today's online marketplace would have owned up to the issue and offered a refund or have already shipped out a replacement product. They've done neither. Does it mean they are bad people running a bad business? Probably not. However, it does mean there are probably better companies out there to give your business to who won't take so long to get you your glasses.
Answer: It depends on the frame. Some are plastic, some are metal, and there are other materials used as well. The descriptions will indicate the materials they are made out of. I've ordered 3 pairs from EBD ($6 and $9 pairs--cheapest there are) and they are excellent quality. An equivalent pair of frames alone from the store would have cost $150+, not including lenses.
Answer: I received two pairs very quickly but was very disappointed when i put them on only to find out the prescription was completely wrong. There are no refund or exchange directions in your website or with the packaging, so I did not know the number to call. Please get in touch with me asap about exchanging the glasses for ones with the correct lenses. Thank you very much.
