Stopping ticketsales for events that they disagree with, absolutely disgusting fascists that dont love America or freedom of speech. I will not use them ever again for our events.

I purchased two tickets for new year and calceled on time but i could get it back for 4 months now. No answer, no contact, no responsiblity for my money. I paid 55 Euros. Another time I purchased a 100 Euro ticket for corona my friend couldn't attend and again they didn't refund it. If you buy a ticket from here, remember they will never refund it!.

Registered for an online seminar. Created an account, and try to log in to watch my seminar, but it says my password is wrong. Fine, no biggie, click the link to reset the password, follow the link, reset password, but "sorry an error has occured" mind you it isn't saying I didn't meet password requirements, it just has an error (and has for several days). So I can't get in. Frustrating, but certainly customer service can help... Nope! There is no customer service, just a FAQ on their website. Fine, I'll try social media. I pm them... and chatbot! Eventually I find an option that isn't a chatbot (which wasn't helpful), and I've been waiting for an agent for awhile... eventually I get upset an look for ways to leave this company, which has no problem taking my money, but can't seem to deliver any service after the sale, this review. Crappy company with a website that doesn't work, barriers to getting to a human... if they even employ any.

Ticket price misrepresented and ticket transaction charges are misrepresented.
Event Brite advertised 36 for a ticket and then charged 80 for same ticket.

No Customer Service

Can't contact to replace pdf tickets that won't open due to being corrupted. They say they are sending a link for acct, it never arrives, so can't login. Zero stars if you could.

It's obvious they do not care about their customers AT ALL. I guess they got in bed with Facebook years ago and are just riding out the income generation this crappy webiste creates with no desire to improve their product at all. I made a simple request over a year ago for them to add a bulk delete feature so you could get rid of your old events and they still have not done it. This is EASY stuff for any mid-level programmer to accomplish. So be prepared to click and update the same things over and over and over again to get anything accomplished. If you contact customer service, they will do nothing.

Beware of Scams

We purchased reserved seating tickets for a show in Denver at the Mission Ballroom. The tickets email had no details regarding seat assignments. I followed up with the venue directly and they indicated that the tickets provided were in fact fraudulent and would not provide admission, let alone assigned seating. Attempts to contact the "organizer" through Eventbrite went unanswered. Thankfully I was able to recover the $ spent by contacting my CC company.

No customer Support AT ALL

Got tickets to 2 online events. Never got the links to attend. The site only has FAQ's to handle problems ie. No support ticket to fill out when other problems exist. For example, they do not have any info when the organizers do NOT respond. The only email address they provide is for the sales department...who took about 4 days to respond to my issue. WHICH they said, "Thank you for reaching out to Eventbrite! This email address is only monitored for new Sales inquiries. However, please know that our team and our self-service resources are here to help!" If this website is for events, wouldn't they like to know if organizers are not providing the events? Is this site a scam?

This company is a scam! Stay away from purchasing anything under them! I'm disputing charges on my credit card and PayPal will side with them because they're in on it together.

Nye party Sheraton Raleigh

The NYE Party I attended that was put on by eventbrite was the worst NYE party I ever attended. The charges were ridiculously high fir the services provided. The food was the worst ever and they ran out of vodka and other liquor even before midnight. The DJ's and their music really sucked bad. I will never ever attend another event Brite event again.

Let's just start out by letting everyone know how miserable Eventbrite made our News Years! No Happy here and no thanks to Eventbrite's services. Bought two tickets to an event in Portland, Maine at the Space Gallery for some fun, dancing and to rattle in '23. They sent a confirmation to me saying,
"...your tickets are at the door...be sure to bring i.d. and credit card used". Okay, sounds simple right? Nope, we got there and they did not have our name and told us we could not come in. That's all, just, we do not have your name on the list. We brought our i.d.s and the credit card but the person checking her list was not interested in the very least... This person said, "...well if you can show me on your phone the message that was sent...". Nope, didn't have our phones! --Who brings a phone to a place where you are going to be dancing and drinking, etc? Well, guess maybe that dates us somewhat but we are not using walkers yet and we still can dance like the best of everyone else out there who may happen to have their phone attached to their brains... Any way, long or short of this; I blame Eventbrite for this debacle! This New Year's was trashed miserably and irrevocably because of this and we are still reeling from it! No trust or love here for Eventbrite. Or shall we say, "...no more I love you's!...The language is leaving me..." [in disgust of Eventbrite]!...

I tried purchasing 6 tickets online for a NYE party and was having issues with my card going through a couple of times. I finally gave up and decided to try it again later that day with a different card. The transaction went through. I decided to sign up for their app so I could have all the tickets together. Come to find out that I now had 12 tickets in there and that one of my other tries did go through! I emailed them right away after finding out I now owned double the tickets and was double charged. They tell me because the transactions are hours apart and that the venue put it down as a strict no return policy they wouldn't refund my tickets! I then called the venue to see if they could help me out with this. They told me they couldn't do anything because Eventbrite is the 3rd party they go through and it's up to them to refund me and that they don't even see the money until a week after the event is done. There was nothing they could do either. So now I am stuck with 6 extra tickets that I can't do anything with. Eventbrite's response was just sell them to others! How in the world am I going to find 6 people to sell these tickets to when it costs the same online plus your fee! I emailed Eventbrite back and never got a damn answer in return. Worst customer service I've ever encountered. Stay away!

Allows scam events

Held a recent event had a load of people turn up who claimed they registered via eventbrite- which we do not use for our registration- turns out one of our sponsors set up our event on this platform presumably to obtain leads for themselves
So clearly no checks are in place for legit events
Luckily was a free event
Their website has no reporting system or actual human contact just sends you round the houses choosing options for customer service
We are a global multi million dollar event co and will never use this platform

Call the customer service phone number and you get message that everyone is on vacation. Tried to get information thru venue and they get no answers. Tried to convince venue to stop using Eventbroite because of all the customer complaimts, but they continue to use them, so now I boycott that venue!

UNAUTHORIZED TRANSACTIONS

On a recent credit card statement; I found (EB Foodtasting) linked to Eventbrite posted on my statement eleven times and $94.99 each. I have never even heard of this company and have never made any transactions with it. Needless to say, I had to have a new credit card to replace it, and I still see this posted several times. Through researching the web; I found out about a scam involving Eventbrite.
I want every one of these charges removed. This is unacceptable.

Fees outrageous!

They get a "1" for doing their stated service - assisting in the purchase of a ticket(s).
They get a "1" because their fees are outrageously high. I've gotten tickets in Boston, New York City for far more readinaorates.

Confusing, cumbersome and

I've never had any pleasant experience with this so called "service"… it has no human contact it's all online and when ever I see it's involved with anything I refuse to go to any of its events… is it a scam or just mindless faceless people ripping everyone off. Curiously it seems to be popular with government departments and councils… one star is one star too many. AVOID IT AT ALL COSTS!
