To all potential customers that are thinking about purchasing from English Elm... Don't. They advertise HASSLE FREE returns, when in reality they should say "Non-A$$hole Free Returns". My current best friend and boss is now stressed out because she needed to return a rug and some dude named, Andrew (don't think he is real) threatened to sue her, over a rug. She asked multiple times for both a shipping label and where to return it, "Andrew" did not email back until after the "deadline" and now is sending her to "local authorities" for what reason? Yeah, a rug... rugs are lame anyway. DO NOT BUY from English Elm.
They are selling things on their website that once you purchase it they will then tell you its on back order. There is no mention on the website that the item is not actually available and is on back order. Every few months they will extend the date its going to be shipped back by a few months.
Complete scammers.

And it is also promised whenever this happens that you will be always given the options to cancel or wait until it get restocked.

Wasted my teams time on a huge project, they list items as in stock then we received an email saying everything we ordered is no longer available. I understand this is a tough time with inventory, keep your website up to date, so customers don't waste there time by ordering items based on your availability. Will never use this service again.

This Company threatens you with collections for their mistake! Not only did they provide the incorrect Tracking Info, they blamed it on the Customer stating "It's easy to track", like I am stupid. The link they provided shows DELIVERED, as i told them. They said I do not know what I am doing with the click link THEY PROVIDED!
I told them, I do not want the item I purchased, even though it shows DELIVERED, which it clearly was not! They threatened me with action to collections and or other ways to get REVENGE on me. I ordered the item almost 2 weeks ago, and even if i wanted the item, it's still NOT here!
Just FYI, the people that leave good reviews here are the one that are LUCKY, as there were no issue(s) with their Order(s). However, IF you ever run into any potential Issue(s), be warned, you will have a mess on your hands!

My order number was *******6284 so you know this is a real review. I ordered a sectional that ended up being to small for the room. Granted that was my fault for not properly measuring but when I asked to by an additional center section for the couch they replied saying they didn't sell them. When I wrote back asking how they handled replacing pieces of the couch that were damaged during shipping they literally stopped communicating. How hard is it to sell me an additional section of a section when they have the ability too? Now I'm stuck with a couch that looks like a joke in my living room because it's so small. Never spending money with this company again if they refuse to help and I'm in the process of building 15 new Airbnb 4-5 bedroom houses that I will be furnishing…

This company advertises that items are "in stock" and then after you order them, they send you an email that the item is a custom/made to order item and that production is pushed back a couple of weeks. They ask if this timeframe works for you, then a 50% non-refundable deposit will be used to start production. If you cancel any time after production has started, only 50% of your funds will be refunded.
The problem is that they keep sending you an email that the item is pushed back every 30-60 days. You never receive it OR your money.
Like I said, RUN!

Bought a coffee table from English Elm. Was not happy with the item and payed $150.00 to ship it back. The package was damaged in transit and an investigation was supposed to be performed by ups but English elm denied ups the inspection. And would not refund my $460.00 for the table. I followed all the requests for the inspection process. They promised they would hold on to the item until the inspection was completed. But they lied and did not. They would not let ups inspect the package. They would not return my call to discuss the matter. Apparently they have a long history of screwing over their customers. They're unethical! Save yourself time and money. Buyer beware from English Elm!

I was checking prices and comparing with other sites and after a few weeks the prices had gone up since the last time I checked.
Delivery was quick though which I appreciated, even though the delivery was not the most gentle

Order of the Rowan Jr media center by Greenington Furniture purchased through English Elm: After numerous order status issues due to product style availability it became necessary to call the manufacturer myself. I located a style/configuration of the product I wanted as English Elm was not equipped with even the barest minimum of proactive problem solving. My order was finally initiated and the lead time for delivery was 3-4 weeks. No problem as everyone has supply chain issues right now. On week five English Elm sends an order cancellation notice via email with no explanation. I follow up with them and then Greenington only to learn that the item is available and ready to ship from the manufacturer warehouse. Six more emails and English Elm is unresponsive aside from telling me I can re-order the item and have it placed on back order. Avoid the hassle. Find another vendor. In my case I went with Old Bones Co. They were speedy, responsive and communicative and excel in all areas where English Elm failed.
