My apologies for not responding sooner. Although I ordered this item in mid January and received it ahead of stated delivery due date, I didn't install it until today Jan 26th. It could not have been an easier installation! You anticipated and sent a conversion kit which fit PERFECTLY. Loosen 2 screws, install new base, 2 simple connections, viola! Took me literally more time to read the instructions than to install. Thanks and I'll be back!
I wanted to replace my i4618A model smoke detector, and that's what was advertised. However, I received a model i4618AC smoke detector. It seems to be working well, though, so no real complaints.
