I purchased 3 smoke alarms to replace the old ones in my home. The EBS price was far better than local sources. I placed my order Sunday afternoon and received the smoke alarms Wednesday morning by priority mail, all in retail boxes with instructions and accessories. I am very pleased with my shopping experience at EBS and would recommend their service.
Although my shipment took a bit longer than expected, I was happy to get my purchase. While waiting, I did receive e-mail communication letting me know about the order's progress. I purchased two in-line lamp dimmers; they work great. I was unable to find them in the colors with the electrical ratings for the bulb types I needed at either my local hardware store or big box home improvement stores. Thanks for a great product.

Products were well packaged, and of good quality & appearance. The exterior battery installation location is a nice convenience that doesn't diminish the appearance. Installation was easy, and initial performance seems good. No complaints at all. The only possible improvement I can think of now, is that they could have been shipped with Duracells instead of no-name batteries.
Smoke detector and adapter were received in a timely fashion. Price was reasonable. Would order from company again.

Great web site. Great prices. Straightforward navigation and order taking, but fulfillment leaves a lot to be desired: stated time window is 2 to 4 days, and only then does shipping take place. My order was shipped after the four stated days and then it had to reach me on the East Coast when coming from California - a very long time to wait. Apparently there were small print disclosures on the web site that should have helped manage my expectations but I must have missed them. Had to manage my wife's impatience in getting all the lights in the kitchen back to function because the commercial dimmer they were on had died. I could easily do the fixing but my choice of supplier (and ensuing experience/delay) became questionable to my better half... Still, happy to have saved over $** bucks compared to local electrical store.
The products I ordered were on backorder which was communicated to me right away. The email said my order would be able to ship in 7-10 business days. On business day 15 I emailed to check and see where my order was because I did not recieve a ship notification email. My only critique is I didn't get an email either telling me my order would be later or it had shipped. More communication would have been very much appreciated.
