I have purchased large lots of smoke detectors (100+ at a time) from electronicbargainstore.com on a few occasions now. I have found buying from EBS to be faster, easier, and overall more efficient than buying direct from the manufacturer. Their pricing is competitive with my direct ship pricing as well. This particular time I experienced a shortage on my order. I was afraid that it would be a difficult and time consuming process to remedy. However, EBS responded very quickly and shipped the missing items without turning it into a hassle. Thank you!

The items purchased were a replacement for our "old" fire detectors. In your ad you stated that our current fire detectors were no longer supported by the company that made them. Our detectors were hard wired, and the product that your company recommended to use to replace them was spot on. All I had to do was replace the mounting ring (as you stated) and I could use the adapter that was in the new kit and I was ready to go! It was simply that easy! I was amazed! Thank you for the information provided in the ad. Otherwise, I'd still be looking for replacements or calling an electrician!
