I have had 8o products on ebid for over 3 years. No sales at all, same items on ebay etsy sold out. Ebid threatened many times if i did not login they will remove listings, sad to say in the end i had to say goodbye. They have been going long enough to make ripples with the big boys by it seems from my and many other members history they are getting worse.
I have been selling and buying on http://uk.ebid.net/ for 7 years and find it very good and easy to use. Its much smaller than eBay but there again the charges are minimal in comparison. Selling techniques tend to be different as you need to allow for the smaller footfall. Its very strong on postcards, photographs, stamps, railwayana and other collectables. In addition there is a good range of new and secondhand items for sale. Well worth a look.
