After purchasing the recovery software, I spent several hours attempting to recover video files that were deleted 2 days earlier from my desktop and sent to the recycle bin (after which, recycle bin was emptied). I assumed my failure to recover the data was an absence of my understanding of how to use the software.

The company was gracious in offering to do a screen share and provide assistance. Unfortunately, after approximately 2 hours of effort, the technician advised that because I had a solid-state drive the files could not be recovered. More unfortunate, I went back to the company's official website and didn't see any mention that the "expected recovery" of 99.7% would drop to zero %, if the computer had a solid-state drive.

Never trust this Company. 30-day money back guarantee refund is a scam. I found that many posts and reviews also mention that this company will never refund to you after you cannot recover the files from their softwares even you complain within 30 days. I bought a license (EaseUS Data Recovery Wizard Professional(Yearly Subscription) 17.0 few days ago. The softwares cannot recover my files. I ask for my refund and they just always said that your files are damaged and cannot fulfill the refund policy. How they know my files damage? Why they dont say that their softwares cannot recover my files? Just a scam to refuse customers refund. Never Never buy softwares from this company

Be warned easeus, double the subscription cost in the 2nd year, so if you think it will auto renew at a reasonable price it won't, the increase is subtly mentioned in the renewal email but is easy to miss, once renewed they will not refund you. They just tell you it's your fault as you missed it in the fine print.

I lost a file with a microsoft update. I tried the trial of this software and it said it found the file. Just pay $75 for the full version to open the document. Once I'd paid, it no longer could find the file. I asked for a refund. I was told there was a trial and I should have used that (see above). Now twice they are trying to upsell me... Let's make it lifetime software for just a bit more. No? Well let's sell you this other software that's sure to work. Buyer beware! This is a scam.

I recently purchased EaseUS Data Recovery software with high hopes of retrieving my lost data, but unfortunately, it fell far short of its promises. The entire experience was a letdown, and I strongly advise potential users to consider alternative solutions like Wondershare Recoverit.
From the start, the software exhibited significant issues. The scanning process took an exorbitant amount of time, dragging on endlessly as it combed through my disk. To make matters worse, the results were shockingly inadequate, telling me it can recover only a meager 50% or less of the data that Wondershare Recoverit effortlessly was able to restore from the same disk.

In stark contrast, Wondershare Recoverit not only performed the job swiftly but also recovered almost all of my lost data seamlessly. The efficiency and reliability of Wondershare far surpassed the disappointing performance of EaseUS.

Adding insult to injury, EaseUS proved to be a customer support nightmare. Frustrated by the lackluster results, I promptly requested a refund within four hours of purchasing the software. To my dismay, their customer support team took an eternity to respond and, when they finally did, they callously informed me that I was not entitled to a refund.

EaseUS Data Recovery is not only ineffective but also comes with an exorbitant price tag and abysmal customer support. I strongly caution against falling for their promises and urge anyone in need of data recovery services to opt for Wondershare Recoverit instead. EaseUS is nothing short of a scam, and my personal experience is a testament to the disappointment and frustration that users can expect from this subpar software. Save yourself the trouble and invest in a reliable solution like Wondershare Recoverit for your data recovery needs

After installation,this software froze and crashed my computer. This happened no matter what I tried to do. Subsequently due to these failures,I had to do a clean installation of Windows 11.
Reinstalled the ToDo Backup.on this now virgin machine. Same result,freezing,crashing and corruption of the hard drive. Despite my having over forty years of experience with computers,their tech insisted this was not possible. They wante remote access to my pc to "fix the issue" to which I said no chance. Just give me my money back. Their response was no,as I have to allow them to fix it. Again,no one gets remote access to my pc. As a "gesture of goodwill" they offered me a 50% refund. This despite being within 14 days of purchase (UK LAW) and well within their 30 days. What a total scam and rip-off. Now,I know my rights under UK consumer laws and having used a credit card method of payment,my provider can reimburse me but why the hell should they have to? Easeus are scum,liars and thieves. The software is clunky to use. You have to log onto essentially two different sites to get it to work. You need the data recovery download up and running then you have to log into their website and then you need to input the serial license. Once all that is done you can recover your data. I have had nothing but great customer service, i click and they are there. Very helpful. The payment feature is a nightmare because it tells you to pay when you paid. They really need to update that so once paid, you don't see a request to buy the product again. That resulted in my purchasing 3 licenses. They reversed one, i will keep one and i will have my credit card reverse one. That's a pain in the neck.

I bought this software with the intent to clone 2 micro SD cards, I had no success, and neither the support was able to do the clone, so I asked for the money back and they refused to do so. Very bad experiences with this EaseUS, I do not recommend

I bought software expecting to be able to get a refund if it didn't work. It was for an iPhone and apparently you have to have a Windows PC to be able to use it and I only have MacOS. I realized what happened before I downloaded the program or attempted to use the code and sent them a refund request almost immediately. They told me I should have read the fine print and that wasn't a good enough reason to refund me. Never doing business with this company again, only brand names from now on!

I am a 35 year old engineer with a masters and PhD degree. I work with computers all day with various software - coding, CAD, and other design software, so I can hold my ground when it comes to "messing with computers." I used EaseUS software to recover data from two SD cards. There is no free option to try and actually recover the data without getting past the paywall, so I paid the ~76 USD to try their software since they advertised a "30 day money back guarantee."

The data recovery software does a mediocre job at recovering the data from the SD cards, as it usually just shows thumbnails, but then once you click on a picture it only shows a gray or black square. When I try to recover data from a 2nd SD card, the software combines the thousands and thousands of files from the 1st SD card, making the data recover procedure a complete mess.

So I was not happy with the results, and wanted my money back within a few days. They did not hesitate to cancel my subscription, but said that I could not get my money back since I did not troubleshoot with a tech. Which, is a something I will get to after I am done writing this review, and it is also something I avoided because I know that the tech will not be able to help me with. The simple fact that they are making it this hard for me to get my money back and something that they know does not work 100% as advertised is the reason why I am giving this 1 star. Any other product I have ever purchased does not make it this hard to get money back for unsatisfactory results.

I feel completely taken advantage of, for a product that is not worth even 20 USD.

After almost a decade of being a loyal customer of EaseUS, I encountered their cold shoulder of customer no service.
I recently purchased their PDF Editor for my MacBook only to discover it was for Windows systems only. Under the "Learn Mire" banner I saw "OS" and concluded it was for Mac OS and Windows. There were also flashing Mac banners on the page too.
The product only works on Windows systems so I requested a refund and EaseUS refused. Even after I explained the situation and told them I'd been a documented customer since 2014, EaseUS Customer Service still refused to issue a full refund. EaseUS always addressed me as "Customer" instead as a real person.
I will never purchase products from EaseUS in the future and advise anyone else to avoid this company due to their lack of customer care and service.

This program failed to recover most of my accidentally deleted files. I was refused a refund; they told me it was because I had written to my hard disk after file deletion. But I didn't see anything warning me against downloading the program to the affected drive, or any instructions on how to install it on an external drive.

This company do not care about customer satisfaction. Very difficult to add to those negative reviews they have already received. It ruins your programs and it does not do what you expect. If you request a refund, you get this response:" Unfortunately, we regret to inform you that we are unable to accommodate your request for a refund.
Simply it is a rogue company and taking fraudulently your money. I am truly shocked to see company like Easeus still trading on line.

Purchased this software with the intention to backup hard disks of 4 personnal PCs; To realize after purchase that one licence is for one PC only. Description of the product is misleading. It says backup your disks (with s) but the fine prints say one PC. I sent customer service a screenshot of the description, Ewan, EaseUS Support Center replied the following: "On the screenshot you sent, it didn't mention one license for multiple PCs too. Before purchasing, you should look more detail of the program on website."

EaseUS sells software that is supposed to help you recover lost data. However, when the software doesn't work, as in my case, there is usually no refund. They tell me I should have used the trial version first. But there was no trial version! After download and scan, I got a pop up screen instructing me to pay first before I could further make use of the software. I got a chaotic mess of so-called recovered data, about 10% of what was lost. And a subscription to monthly payments that I never asked for. No use and totally ineffective. After a long discussion they finally agreed to refund. If some of their programs do work for some people, apparently they got luckier than me.
