To start, their "No Bull" guarantee is no longer credible. They have an entire laundry list of reasons why you can no longer return items. Not surprised, but certainly disappointed.
The quality of the products has hit a new low. Very cheaply made. Also very disappointed by this. In the beginning the products were very good. They actually had flannels that were respectable for a northern man. Unfortunately they cut those down to size recently in the search for higher profits.
Just garbage work DTC. Fire the CEO, shrink your store footprint and get back to what made you popular.
Spent $200.00 with this company and they are too cheap to ship the stuff to my home.
They use Smartpost which is great for city people and they are subsidized by the rural people who have to drive to another town because they don't get home mail service.
They basically told me to go screw myself and that they don't care about customer service and to not order from them unless I want to pay extra for shipping to get what I was promised.
Never do business with this company.
Placed the order on 8/21 and have not received yet on 9/3. Their customer service says it is normal for it to take up to 12 business days. I have seen custom made machinery take less time...
Bought a set of pants wore them twice fabric is tearing just not a good buy at all and in the store store manager made it even worse
There's a trick
Their telephone people will willingly let you be a fool by paying their huge retail price
They will not tell you there are frequent gigantic sales or free shipping
Basically: you pay hyper expensive full retail. Then the sale frequent sale comes shortly after
No price matching
No sympathy from them
Be careful
Wow. What a crap show. Bought 800 plus in workwear items. Firehouse pants, dry on the fly, work shirts…
A variety to see what worked best for me. To sum it up, it seems they are more interested in putting out clothes for the weekend warriors doing yard work that want to look nice. The clothing fades fast, wears holes, and the no bull is straight bulls##t. Show rooms catering to weekend ranchers and folks that want the "look" of someone who works. Cool commercials but crappy clothes. Customer service sucks to. Oh but you bet they got there COVID money…
I tried some clothes. Had to return. Did you know it takes 10 to 15 days to receive your refund AFTER they received the items being returned. RIDICULOUS, it doesn't take 10 days for them to charge your purchases. Never again!
I have had problems every time I order online! Between customer service and processing/handling/fulfillment of orders, I cannot believe Deluth seems so proud of themselves that they couldn't manage to read any reviews left by customers. I personally have had reps fill out complaint forms! No one in the big wig department cares, that is what it boils down to, so now we drive an hour to go buy my husband's work pants!
Got these work boots there. They did this after month in a half. Called said it wasn't warranted on the boots
I wear the regular Buck naked boxer briefs. I buy the clearance colors because the underwear is a little pricey. I like them. I did try the Dang soft. Initially I thought the dang soft were great but for whatever reason the waist band wrinkles a folds over on itself constantly. The Buck naked doesn't. I am not sure what they did different between the two waistbands.
I recently purchased Duluth Eco cheeks underpants for men no bunch no pinch no stink no mess... Decided to ride my motorcycle on a Sunday beautiful day, when I turn the corner the handlebars broke while I was wearing my Duluth no pinch no mess no stink hold the boys in place Eco cheeks underpants. I'm here to tell you something Duluth underpants hold up to a situation that other ones wouldn't hold up to... The bike left the roadway I went to the left no handlebars no control literally... I was headed in the ditch toward a big pine tree that had low hanging branches big long pointed Spears with needles on them what in that case would you do I did what anyone else would do and laid the bike down well I was in the ditch what happened was my foot pegs dug in to the embankment the bike launched me off the bike I went up and down on my right shoulder and laid in the road I said well I haven't been dirt bike riding in many years that was kind of fun I quickly assessed the situation and found out nothing was broken but I didn't have any feeling in my right arm or hand... The gentleman that were riding with me turned around shut my bike off and help me get up a nurse would happen by and she stopped and assessed the situation said there was no broken bones I asked her a question I said these are brand new Duluth clothes that I have tough as iron and I'm wearing their Eco cheeks underpants... Which means no pinch no bunch no twisting no scraping no cutting very comfortable underpants no stink no mess... With that I said Duluth holds up to their word except for a couple of things she said what's that I said the part where there's no stink and no mess do you smell anything she said no I said well then they're good they are absolutely stood up to the test and she laughed and said you didn't I said well do you smell anything no I said then Duluth underpants holds up to their statements no State no mess no bunch no pinch hold the boys in place the most comfortable things that I've ever worn in my life and they're absolutely was no stink no mess I'm not going to tell you how I know you can surmise... the bike survived and I had to go take a shower... where are those those stink no mess underpants they work... Thank you
I have been a Duluth fan for a long time. About 2 years ago I received an order in which the elastic waist band became stretched out and useless within a few weeks. I reached out to Duluth and was basically told " I'm sorry, but too bad for you"
I put Duluth on the back burner for a while so they can sort out their issues.
I just spent 63.00 from this once great company and the elastic band 'folds' making the wide band 1/2-1/3 as wide, feels like a broccoli rubber band around my waist.(5 pair of Men's Dang Soft Briefs) The elastic around the legs is non-existent and flimsy
I feel as what started as a great American company/ product has sold it's sole to over seas sweat shops.
I 'am very disappointed
For the money these should have lasted a long time after about three years they are tattered and worn thin. Of course Duluth wants me to send them back and they will make an assessment. Guess it's back to L. L. Bean
They say they warranty their cloths, but in actuality they don't. Had two pairs of pants that had the hardware broke. Their hardware on their cloths is the weak point of their products. They warrantied the first pair, but the replacement pair that broke they did not. They say they have a great return policy, but in reality they don't.
Bought my husband some work pants from Duluth and within 5 months, they split open at the crotch and the pocket split open. My husband is a foreman so he does not do strenuous work that would make these pants do that. I emailed the company and they sent me a return slip so I sent them back only to get an email saying I was not eligible for a return cause it was normal wear and tear. So I called and talked to a supervisor and she said there was nothing they could do. So not only we are out the $200 return, we are the pair of pants we sent them. So they do not stand by their guarantee at all and bad customer service.
I really can't say enough about how good the quality of the products sold by the Duluth Trading Company. I would rate them as very good. I have never returned an item however. I find that their "Free Returns" are very expensive. I bought a jacket from them that is of quite good quality, I must return it, however due to the size. To print a return label (one could simply write the address on the package) and complete the exchange for it costs $8.00 to join the app that enables one to do this. Duluth Trading Company charges $7.99 to return the item so one has $15.99 to just return the item. Then one has to pay the postage to send it back. I really don't know yet what that will cost, but I estimate it will cost $10,00 plus or minus on top of the return and "Free Label" charges. I must say that I am not thrilled about Duluth Trading Company's return process.
Their advertising worked; I decided to buy a pair of firehose flex carpenter pants. Unfortunately, after wearing them roughly 5 times, I was building a deck one day, barely rubbed past a nail and tore a hole in the seat. I think literally every other piece of work clothing I have is more durable. Absolute garbage. To put the icing on the cake, customer service told me I'm out of luck (in friendlier and more political terms). No refunds or exchanges.
If Duluth Trading put some of their marketing budget toward product development, I'm guessing they would have much happier customers (albeit fewer of them... and we all know it's about the almighty dollar). Suffice it to say I will not be patronizing this company again.
New "No Bull one year warranty".
We stand by the craftsmanship and durability of our products. If you are not satisfied with any item you purchase from Duluth Trading, return it for a refund within one year. After one year, we will also consider returns for items that are defective or don't perform as designed. No Bull means if something goes wrong, we will always treat you right.
It's all Bull-...!
$150 shoes, 2weeks out of warranty. Stitching starting to let go. No coverage! Over the years I was ok paying 10-25% more with a true no Bull warranty. But it's gone and I'm done with the Bull-...! I will take my business elsewhere.
I purchased 2 pairs of pants for my son last November for Christmas. He lives in Chicago and I live in Michigan. I just recently found out from him that 1 of the pants the knee tore when he slipped and fell on the ice this winter. I just called and spoke with a customer service agents who read the fake guarantee policy to me and told me that the pants are not guaranteed under this circumstance. She said this falls under the negligence and misuse policy. As I told her, my son did not slip and fall purposefully so he is not negligent and if all workmanship is guaranteed that should include the material. When I asked to speak with a manager about this, I was put on hold, only to be hung up on a few minutes later. This is the copy of the fake guarantee on website:
"We stand by the craftsmanship and durability of our products. If you are not satisfied with any item you purchase from Duluth Trading, return it for a refund within one year. After one year, we will also consider returns for items that are defective or don't perform as designed. No Bull means if something goes wrong, we will always treat you right."
It says that they stand by the durability of their product, obviously not! It says if something goes wrong we will always treat you right, obviously not! It also says that we will consider returns that are defective or dont perform as designed, obvious lies!
All the rest of their policy that was read to me on the phone is not on the website, so that is deliberate withholding of information. Basically everything that was read to me over the phone by service agent negates the guarantee for anything being wrong with your product, unless you return them when they are brand new. So the guarantee and advertisement of the guarantee is total bull$#*!! I bought these work pants on the belief of a guarantee that is a lie! Total misrepresentation. I hope that no one else falls prey to your misrepresentation and lies!
Ordered a single pair of jeans. On the web site it said they have the size I need. Then the confirmation e mail said they are out so it will be a month before they are sent. To make matters worse it also says I cannot change my order (cancel). So I'm in desperate need of pants and I chose to spend my hard earned money on a new brand that supposedly is tough. Well at this rate the $20 pants from Walmart are not looking too bad. If you are a Duluth fan I herd its better to order from Amazon or another site. Sad day Duluth really wanted to be a new customer but at this rate I'm gonna stick with the cheep pants that fail in 2 months rather than waiting 2 months to get a pair.
Answer: It is a scam. They don't follow their own policies. Buy elsewhere.
Answer: They profess to have a NO BULL guarantee. That's it, no fine print. But there is fine print, well hidden on their site.
Answer: It was not difficult getting Customer Service. My return was denied twice by email, twice by phone and once by a supervisor. It was the 5th effort that finally got me through to a supervisor who gave me the credit.
Answer: My order has taken over SIX WEEKS AND STILL NOT DELIVERED. Most ALL PRODUCTS ARE MADE, STORED AND SHIPPED FROM CHINA. You always get what you pay for!
Answer: You should call them and explain. They should replace them. Last year, they would have replaced them. They are different now so I can't say what they will do. If they refuse, call back over and over again until you get a reasonable agent on the phone. Ask for a supervisor also, if needed.
