Well I received my dress thinking it would be just like the picture on the model, well be hold Not! The dress didn't come with the scarf or the brooch on the side of the dress... Now I have to go out try to match the color for a scarf and get a brooch... I wanted to be stress free before my son wedding day... They need a phone number in customer service to call and talk to a live person instead you only have email to communicate... Not good for me

I'm from Birmingham UK and I was first considering buying a dress from jjshouse, but then I read the reviews and got slightly worried. I emailed them before I made an order and they completely reassured me and so I was going to order the dress I wanted. However I came across Dressfirm.com and saw another dress and fell in love, without questioning it I ordered it and then took a step back and realised it was from China! Immediately I started worrying because of the reviews I read for jjshouse (which is also based in China) and I panicked. When I checked reviews out for dressfirm it was a 50/50 loads of people had positive ones and loads had negative ones. I decided to email back the confirmation email and ask them about it. They reassured me it'll all be fine. I lied to them and told them my big day was on the 6th april (today being 30th March) and so I wanted to receive it earlier and be safe rather than expecting it last minute and worry like some of the other reviews! So I got it today when they sent it off on the 23rd March. Also the quality of the dress is amazing, doesn't look cheap or tacky at all, I'm so surprised, everything was perfect! I'm really happy with their service and I'm sure a lot of you will be too, considering most of the reviews were about receiving it too late.

All in all, my wedding dates on the 26th, I told them it was on the 6th and they sent it to be received on the 30th.
So I think the biggest mistake a lot of people made is let their parcel arrive a week before!
If I didn't like my dress I still would've had a month to go check out another one!
Oo also I forgot to mention, they deliver it with DHL and DHL send an automated text telling you that you have to pay VAT. But I didn't have to pay it so I don't think anyone else would.

I ordered my wedding dress from Dressfirm.co. My dress arrived yesterday, earlier than when I was expecting it to arrive. I love the dress. After reading the reviews, I had a lot of anxiety about the quality and the sizing. Horror stories read kept me up at night. If you are honest about your measurements, then there is no reason to worry. You can not expect to get a dress that would be worth $1000 in a bridal shop, and you only pay $150 online through DressFirm, to be 100% perfect. I expected there to be some things I would have to sacrifice or perhaps have to alter. In my case, no altering required and I will sleep tonight knowing all is good and that I have a wedding dress for a fraction of the cost. Money well spent.

This website is 100% a scam. Stay away from it at all costs.
First off- The dresses they advertise on their website aren't even their product. They copycat the dresses and make a cheap knock off version, even though it states nowhere on their site that they're doing this.
Don't bother reading the return policy for reassurance that you'll get a good dress and are promised a refund. This company doesn't follow their return policy.

I ordered a dress for prom I saw the picture and thought it was beautiful and definitely thought it was worth 250$. When the package arrived, The dress I received wasn't what I ordered. It was a cheap knock off. It looked as if they just bedazzeled it and didn't care how it looked. It was ugly and depressing to look at. When I emailed them asking for a full refund they argued with me for days saying "Please understand we are copy cats, this dress can't be refunded, no one who has ordered this dress has had a problem before." and after the 4th day of the same argument they decided that a 10% refund seemed like a good enough deal which was $25 back out of $250. After the 8th day of useless emailing back and forth they said they'd give me a refund for just the dress itself and that I would have to pay shipping to send it back and the shipping I already paid for was not included when everything was said and done. At that point I figured I would just settle for that because it didn't seem like I had another option. When I emailed them back asking what I had to do in order to receive the refund they never emailed me back after that. I'm sure they figured they already had the money and that they were gonna run with it. Luckily for me I charged it on my credit card instead of paying through paypal. I filed a claim through them and the credit card company canceled the charge and I got all my money back. I guess if you have the urge to buy from this site use your credit card NEVER pay through paypal with websites like these because once they have the money it's gone and you'll probably never see it again and you'll be stuck with a bad dress.

I wish I had read the reviews of this site beforehand, I definitely would have avoided them. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS SITE.
This site is a SCAM! An absolute scam. I bought a dress made to custom size and it was way too small. At least an inch small all around. Completely unwearable. It looked cheap and NOTHING like the picture. No refund has been offered as yet, and I doubt that if I even get the tailoring done (which they offer to pay for... on their site) would even be compensation for.
Complete waste of money and time trying to get that money back. They are trying to avoid the issues with the dress e.g. I was clear when I said that the hip width was made too small, even showing them pictures, but they tried to avoid the issue by saying that the waist needed to be measured.

I bought a wedding dress from this site and it arrived last week, earlier than expected and I absolutely love it.
I was really worried at first as I made a mistake when I ordered the dress and I ordered two dresses. I tried to find a number to call but there isn't one, you have to email. I then spent 24 hours worrying whether I had just blown over £200 on something that was a con. I didn't need to worry. I received a very helpful email back. Both dresses were cancelled and instead of just sending a dress in a certain size they asked for my measurements and custom made my dress.
I received my refund also and I couldn't be happier with my dress. It is slightly different from the photo but it's actually different in a better way.

I really don't know how many of these reviews are legit or not but I wish there would have been some reviews to read when I was contemplating getting a dress from this website. I will provide a little back story so that if you are reading this, you know I am a real person and not someone from the company trying to hype the website. I am 39 years old and live in Houston Texas planning a wedding for October 2013. The local wedding dress places around here are David's Bridal, Alfred Angelo, Ventura's, and other little local places. I visited these places and was not happy with the selection and I am not a "shop of the rack" body type. I am a size 14-16 up top and an 8-10 on the bottom so if I bought a dress of the rack at any of these stores there would have been some major alterations involved. I came upon dress firm website while looking for dresses and was really amazed by all the dress that they had to choose from. One of the things I was looking for in a dress was one that had sleeves (I'm almost 40 and have terrible looking upper arms) and all the local wedding shops carried everything sleeveless. I found a style of dress on dress firm that had sleeves that I liked and took a risk ordering it, knowing that it was wayyyyy before my wedding date and I spent a total of 240.00 on the dress and the shipping so if it was terrible or never made it to me then I would only lose that much money and I would have plenty of time to shop for another one. I sent in my CUSTOM measurements and they custom made the dress at no additional charge using my measurements. I received the dress a month and a half later and it's great. It's not the absolute best quality but I didn't expect that for 240.00 but it is a nice dress. I will probably get the length altered and some of the stitching cleaned up and the zipper reinforced but other than that it's awesome. It looked exactly how it did in the picture! I am very pleased with the product at the price I paid.

The website is legit, but the product they offer is poor and their return policy is not legit. The company is in China and I need to return a dress that looks NOTHING like the picture of the dress that we ordered, and they won't even respond back to me. So now I have an expensive prom dress that I just spent a lot of money on that no one can wear, and that I can't return even though I have followed all the steps they asked me to. Very less than impressed.

Stay away from this vendor.
We ordered a dress, and found that the zipper would not zip. The way it was sewn in, it was impossible to zip. It was obviously never tested before it shipped.
We reported this in an attempt to exchange the dress. However, they have a period of only SEVEN days allowed to make your case - and they demand you make a VIDEO of the problem and send it to them. We missed the seven day deadline, and they told us, too bad.
I would not trust them.
