I went to the motor vehicles in Elizabeth New Jersey. To register my vehicle and they don't do that so they tell you three addresses real fast and quick but where to go. Then they point you to the wall or barcode a website to register your vehicle. The problem is some people are not computer friendly.
So I call motor vehicles in Elizabeth North and for somebody to call you it'll take 2 to 3 hours to call you back maybe next day. They should make things real simple to use on the website so anybody can use it and they should have an address ring on the wall that you could take a pic of where to go to register your car. It's so much easier
Here I sit 30 minutes after my customer was supposed to take their drive test because the appointment maker didn't follow protocol and the only person who could give this specific test is on vacation. Why can't the DMV get their act together
The greeters by in large are not trained enough to give proper advise related to proper paperwork required to register a vehicle or boat. Some of them have attitudes from the get-go. They have been an issue for YEARS! Multiple trips are necessary due to this and there is no criteria FOR the proper paperwork. Then they block you from coming in when you do have the proper paperwork. Nick M. Should do a better job in hiring or promoting current employees. The supervisors are no better! BEWARE!
I've been to the DMV on several occasions now and they continue to be sloppy, mixed up and appear not make any sense at all. Their personnel are the some of the worst people I've ever talked to my entire life and do not help in any fashion at all. Concerning the test format for attaining the CDL (which is why I've been going to the DMV), it is administered horribly and needs to be revised due to several facts, one in particular that you can only answer one question at a time through a touch screen computer (this is how they've been testing for the past two years). There are no barriers between computers, so you are sitting next to a person who can practically see your computer screen, making matters worse by creating a sense of uncomfortableness. On another note, I don't even want to know why they have armed security guards throughout each facility in New Jersey, because that just made me laugh again. Who wakes up in the morning and says to themselves - 'I think I'll rob the DMV today'. The security guards have no manners, are thugs and do not belong in a test-taking building. They need to be removed as soon as possible to relieve some of the stress of actually already going to DMV in the first place. Not only do they all not think in an intelligent manner - security and the ones behind the desks - their attitudes are piss-poor and need to be checked - BIG TIME! If you represent the state government, you're supposed to ensure that people who arrive at the DMV are taken care of, not harassed or especially belittled by a less intelligent human being. I'm a Rutgers University graduate and I can tell you that the DMV is not an organized government entity - the attire of their workers and the environment doesn't reflect the simple phrase of being professional. Get it right DMV!
I went to the DMV location off 30th street near Busch Gardens to get a new copy of a title for an enclosed trailer and they told me they didn't have an appointment available for 2 days. I drove to Pasco county to the Land o lakes location and I walk out with the title with in 30 minutes.
Hillsborough county needs someone to run this department that understands customer service.
Went to Florida DMV in May. Very busy but in and out in 15 minutes. I'm at NY DMV now. George Urban Blvd. Location. Must see customer service before being assigned to 1 of 15 windows. 5 windows have people. All five are waiting for 23 people to make it through customer service. There is only one person at customer service. There is no one through yet. Two of the more knowledgeable workers (waiting for people to get through customer service) look at each other then back at us and decide to take action. They grab their smokes and head outside.
I had such an amazing experience with the driving instructor Mikey. He was very nice and a great teacher. He had great advice and made me far less nervous than how I started out. I wasn't a huge fan of the lines and the long wait. Other than that, getting my license was easy and simple.
Every that work there has attitude problems I will be following up with the mayor about this place this a waste of tax dollars
I had Eric as my examiner, he is very thorough, very helpful, friendly and excellent character. I highly recommend him
Impossible to get a hold of anyone when calling. Driving is crucial and it should NOT be this difficult to arrange your driving paperwork duties!
All I want to do is to update my old address to my address for my drivers license. Since DMV is making this action impossible its as worse as making an appointment to wait in line which is even far worse. It's as if DMV for New York is way back in time, and does not need any services from anyone. I think that the DMV can do better, maybe hire better professionals. I cannot even sign in because DMV would not accept temporary password as an old password and let me create any new password. DMV website does not even allow me to proceed when prompted to create and answer new questions without saying the URL has expired. I am very dissatisfied with this service and I think that the whole DMV team are lazy to keep up with New York as a whole, they only care about money rather than service. Have a good night!
I went there to get a knowledge test, they said there are no available computers and they are very busy. The next day i found an appointment, there were 10 free computers, no people. Questions in the tests are pointless, all they do is as difficult as they can.
Useless agency - rude people!
People wake up let's vote them out!
Very helpful the waiting time was short clean office I would recommend this office to my friends and family
Rude customer service: I was recently at the DMV in Trenton New Jersey… I was a palled by the behavior of the staff and the rudeness to the customers not to mention the elderly. I understand these are hard times but we are just trying to obey the law and do what is right as consumers. I to work with the public and I would never scream at them the way the staff screams at customers. Any services that can be done online or by mail would be greatly appreciated rather Than spending four hours in such a negative behavior atmosphere. And I understand that the workers might be frustrated however there is no excuse to holler and be short with people. There is absolutely no compassion for helping anyone who has a question. I watched an 85-year-old man with a flip phone be told by a staff member sorry you have to make an appointment online. Does anyone maybe consider that he does not have the ability to do so? I hope the higher ups can find a way to make positive changes with the DMV services. And I hope I never have to go back.
Waited 45 minutes while others went before me. The lady in charge, did nothing. Ignorance and inefficiency displayed. No apology from her.
I am a 75 year old caregiver... I took my 90 year old lady that I care for to get her handicap plaque... after sitting there for 45 minutes with an appointment we got caller back by a gentleman named Jose! I have never been talked to so rudely in my life... he keep insisting the name of the vehicle my lady was driving! I told him she hasnt drove in years... then he ask me why she needed the handicap plaque... this guy was new and even said he had never issued a plaque before... so why was he so rude to me? I had all the paper work that was needed... he couldn't even do a change of address for me. So I got nothing accomplished... he plainly told me he had other people to see... he did not give me 5 minutes of his time...
Just received registration and license after 4 months. This is beyond ridiculous even with Covid excuses in today's world. I personally a few months ago surrendered my plates. Was told wait for receipt in mail. After 4 weeks I add an appointment to find out where and why it's taking so long. That meant I had to continue paying for two vehicles on my insurance. I had obtained coverage on the said vehicle that I surrendered the plates on. Went 3 more times to the DMV to be told they must have been put in the wrong bin. The one to be destroyed. Had to file a police report stating they were stolen. The next day had to go back and get the receipt. Then went to clarify al this with ins. Comp. This is unacceptable and wrong. Why aren't the workers at DVM doing their job? What's wrong with all this? Something major, that's for sure. Totally disgusted!
Went to Huntington Valley DMV on their website says they're open tried the door locked and they were closed do you think they could update the website totally unsatisfied
The dmv is useless I've gone once they told me that if that not what your appointment for what you requested you can't do it along with being rood to me about also tired of them telling me everything requires an appointment for simple $#*! also took 4 weeks and $50 worth of faxing and mail them papers the people don't want take any time out of there day to help someone
Just got off the phone with Setera from DMV Insurance. What a frigging horror show. I was instructed by Albany DMV to contact them. Waited over an hour and then was told that she could not help me and she didnt know why they sent me to the insurance department. The acknowledged that they have the receipt of transfer and of the insurance but they are still going to suspend my license anyway on the 16th as my new registration has not gone through. She was a frigging horror and unwilling to offer any information on how to remedy the situation. I have been trying to transfer the registration to the new vehicle since the 5th of September and it is still not done. I know Covid messed up everything but Government Workers who just dont give a sh... t should be fired from their position. Its as frustrating for the general public as it is for everyone else involved. 4 Months for a registration and in the system it says its done but it never completed. I am at wits end. One of the worst experiences I have ever had with DMV...
