In late October I ordered 9 t-shirts as Christmas presents for my three boys. Three of the 9 shirts arrived a few days weeks later. One had stains on it and I wasn't sure why the other six hadn't arrived with them. A week later one more arrived only COD - I had to drive to the post office and pay $14 for release. I emailed Design by Humans twice enquiring about my other five shirts. No response.
Almost three MONTHS later, missing five shirts and the company is unresponsive. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!
My daughter got me a gift card from them. The process to use it was so complicated I couldn't get it to work even after getting assistance 3 times. My daughter tried to recoup her money but they said I spent $50 on the gift card which never happened. DON"T TRUST THIS COMPANY!
I've been waiting now from august 1st. It's now October 5th. I have not received my order of 5 shirts. I've been trying to get ahold of customer service a couple times now over a week ago. I have not received any sort of response. I really just want the shirts but I have no idea what's going on.
We love the designs but the "Perfect Tee" isnt holding up. We wash our shirts on cold, delicate. We have a lot of other t-shirts and dress shirts that have held perfect shape for years. But every one of our "Zuni" brand "Perfect Tee" shirts have twisted. The graphic is no longer centered or straight. All of them have twisted in the exact same direction. Meaning the graphic is now distorted and wraps around the body, instead of hanging straight. We are very disappointment in this because we love the art work, but the shirts twisted in less than 3 washes.
I ordered a tee shirt on June 16'23. It was for the 4th of July. It has not arrived. DBH has terrible customer service. They have not sent any updates in my order. I have reached out multiple times. No response.
I ordered 3 t-shirts in a Women's Medium, my usual size. While I loved the designs, the material was a big disappointment. They are made of a really thin cotton, which I don't like. They feel really cheap. For $75, I expected quality merchandise, which these are not. In addition, just know they run REALLY small, definitely not regular U.S. sizing. So now I have to exchange them Super-annoying. If I didn't like the designs so much, I would just return them

I just wanted you to know that I refuse to order from your site. You're disingenuous and you misrepresent yourself.
First your shirts are generally overpriced. Then you "generously" offer sign up discounts, site sales, and free shipping as a reward for ordering extra, but then you renege on so of that at checkout.
GROSSLY UNLIKE OTHER SITES your free shipping doesn't stack, even though it's quantity based. I can excuse not combining sales, but generally when you offer a "first time" bonus for signing up, you honor that bonus on top, bc I traded my email for a discount.
You don't do any of that.
It's very disappointing. I DID NOT make s purchase based on this.
I am so sad to write a poor review for this website as I originally loved the concept but the service I received is probably the worst I have ever experienced with an online merchant. In short:
- I ordered for $700 of tshirts for Christmas gifts early November
- The first package "got lost" so they sent a replacement package in December
- I got it this time but 4 items had issues (wrong sizes, bad prints etc.)
- A replacement order was made to send me correct items
- 20 days later I got the replacement package. 3 out of the 4 t-shirts had the same exact problem as the first bacth
- Today, I got the 2nd replacement package and again, 2 out of the 3 problematic items are still wrong
- Dealing with their customer service is sooooooo slow (you have to wait for 5 business days on average to get a response) and they don't seem bothered at all with all the mistakes and problems.
- It really feels like they don't care whether you get your orders on time or at all. After 4 months, I still don't have all of my Christmas gifts.
- Cherry on the cake, while the designs are cool, it looks like the t-shirts are of very poor quality. 3 of mine have shrinked to a crazy extent after 1 very delivate wash.
I'm so disappointed.
My shipping email contained an invalid tracking number and when I emailed them to get my real tracking number, they proceeded to constantly tell me it was USPS that caused the issue instead of resolving the issue that was actually caused by them. I don't recommend buying from this company.
I will never buy anything from these people again. I will never recommend them to anyone, not even my worst enemy. They have taken my money but have never sent me my items, I can't get a human to answer my quieries just an automated response to everything. Can't even get a refund. Not sure where the Humans are in this place! Shame on all of you who work there, hope you Christmas is crap.
Have ordered almost 20 shirts/hoodies from them over the years and they used to be phenomenal. A little pricey but hey you get what you pay for. The last 2 orders though were waaaaay off from what they used to be. I had ordered a t shirt and a hoodie back around Christmas time. The hoodie came out great, but the shirt had almost no print on it. I called them and they reimbursed me so it wasn't a big deal. This time, I ordered 4 shirts from them, and ALL of them have crappy prints. Extremely blurring and double print lines on all of them, almost like they ran out of ink and had to re-print them but didn't get the stencil lined up right. I'm done, this company is too expensive to not have better quality control in place.
Tshirts meant for a birthday gift were supplied in a very CRUMPLED state. VERY EMBARRASSING. I WILL NOT BUY FROM THIS SITE AGAIN. NOT CHEAP EITHER.
Even though the tshirts are made in Mexico, they size like they were made in China. Depending on where I buy, I can wear a L or an XL. I've never had to buy an XXL. But all the shirts I ordered from DBH were *at least* one size smaller than the XL purchased. I washed the shirts once, and they are real tight around the arms, chest, and gut. I'm returning them all! It's a shame, too. I really liked the designs I purchased. Now the artists won't get their money, DBH won't make their money, and I have no shirts.
Still waiting after 3 weeks. There was no indication that delivery would take this long and I will not order from them again!
I'm not used to writing reviews about my experience as a customer, but I have to say that I've hardly ever been so disappointed…
First of all, I placed my Christmas order on November 24th 2021, and I received it on January 4th 2022. On the parcel tag, it says that the parcel was mailed on December 9th 2021… Whereas I was supposed to receive my order within 4-14 working days (plenty of time before Christmas then), it took about 33 working days for my order to arrive! Of course, I emailed the customer service twice during my waiting: they first answered me a week later, giving me the tracking number (which I already had) and that's all… They didn't even bother to reply to my second email.
And, as if it was not enough, on of the t-shirts was not even the color I ordered! So I paid for an item and received another one… Not mentionning the overall poor quality of the fabric and the printing…
I, of course, sent a couple more emails asking for compensation. It's been 10 days now but I still have no news and I strongly doubt I will ever have…
RUN AWAY!
As the title suggests, I ordered a number of clothing articles to be sent to Australia by DBH. I was promised my order would be sent within the week after contacting them at the start of December, but that was clearly a lie. DBH claims that the delay was due to "printing facility was a little backed up and it has caused our processing times to increase."
I don't care if your backed up, a heads on your website would be nice. By not notifying the customer of delays outside of the Covid Normal (a week or two at most), DBH is (in my opinion, based upon my experience) clearly saying "Money is more important to us than customer experience". I now need to go running around locally to try to find a bunch of Christmas presents.
In conclusion, DBH is not worth the premium amount you are paying for. You will not receive any greater level customer service compared to other platforms. Reading over the reviews, it appears that the print quality has dropped which might be a bullet dodged anyway.
Disappointing, misleading and left waiting. What a experience.
I love the designs and shirts. However, unfortunately, a tax gets slapped onto the delivery (even for private use). Since you cannot pay the tax in advance, you have to pay an additional fee of 25€. Altogether, for a package with shirts worth 150€ I had to pay an extra of 75€ in tax. In addition you have to pay FEDEX which turns out to be an additional headache (no customer service, there seems to be a mistake that my transfer wasn't received). This is sad, because I really like the shirts, but it is simply not worth it if you want to ship to outside of the US.
I was sent the wrong size tshirt and they say they can't send me the correct size since it was a limited time item. I am very disappointed to miss out on the tshirt I wanted because of their error.
Who the hell sent me this sh! T? There's nothing even on the shirt except an extremely faded Bo Peep, and that's not even the design I ordered. I ordered a demon slayer shirt. Are your employees $#*!ed? They don't check the quality or condition of the shirt before sending it off? I'm reporting this business to the BBB.
If you order something and use your real email, you will be avalanched with junk mail. You will try to unsubscribe and it will not work. You will write to them begging them to for-the-love-of-god STOP sending you junk emails. They will cheerily reply that they sure will, but they WILL NOT. Avoid doing business with these lying scam artists.
Answer: Maybe COVID-19 has impacted their business. Don't know if they are jerks as that would mean I've been able to have some contact with someone at the company. That is the issue, there is a complete lack of customer service. A request for an exchange requires first digging up the policy on their website and filling in an online form. But after an initial automated acknowledgment, there is no response. For over a month, even with multiple attempts to follow up, I have not received a single communication from this company.
Answer: Not sure at this point. Never sent my order as of 3 weeks.
Answer: If opening a store involves their customer service coming between you and your customers, I would say stay away. Their lack of customer service has led me to stop buying from DBH.
