Great site. Honest, real wins, friendly & knowledgeable staff. If there is any problem at all they will fix it to your advantage.
I understand that dealdash.com allows a full return of your money on your first purchase if there is cause. My first purchase after some time bidding was to just go ahead and buy now. I that that on a laptop computer at the price of $514. The article was shipped promptly but when UPS delivered it the package looked like someone had taken a wrench to the box. The flap was also totally unsealed. I was not about to accept such a vulnerable piece of electronics under that condition. I refused the package and it was returned to sender on Sept 26th this year. I did not hear from DealDash.com so I went to their contact site and advised them of the issue. I have since contacted them twice more and have had no response from them. If this was just a small item I would walk away but I am 78 years old, not stupid, and not afraid of anyone but God. I have received recent emails from them so I know that their electronic system recognizes my electronic system. I will not hesitate to contact any tv channel which carries their advertisements, I will start at the top. I will give them one week to contact me in regard to this issue. As I told them in my correspondence to them, I just want to be a happy customer.
Hi Vonda, I'm sorry to hear you received a damaged product. Our customer support agent Chris responded to the email you sent us yesterday just a few hours after it was received so I'm sorry if you did not get that response. I'll make sure someone from our support team sends you a new email today. Also, our procurement department has informed me they taking care of this issue and are having a new computer shipped out immediately with priority shipping. Unfortunately sometimes products get damaged during shipping, however don't worry, we'll be sure to take care of this incident for you.
On another note, I noticed you won a KitchenAid Artisan Mixer - congratulations! The UPS tracking code can be found from your dashboard and it looks like it's on time to be delivered by October 1,2013. If you have any other questions please don't hesitate to reach out to our support team. Thank you for your patience. Sincerely, Dave
The last three day I've seen something strange happening on DD. I'm limited on cash so I watch the site a lot and bid when I think there's a chance to win. What's been happening is a lot, and I mean a ton, of low end $10 and $15 Amazon gift cards have been going for $. 01 and a few more for no more than $. 03. Many of those are going to "first time winners". That seems to have stopped since last nite. During that same time period the $25 and up cards have been going of very high prices in general with a few under a dollar. This a/m the site wasn't updating like is is supposed to as well. Possibly internet traffic jam or maybe a denial of service attack?
The obvious inference on the cheap cards is DD is somehow allowing newbies to "win" a few to keep up the interest etc. I really think DD is trying to maintain a rep of honesty etc but when I see things like this m alarm bell start ringing!
Hi Ron, thank you for the feedback. I checked with our auction management team to see if there have been any changes with scheduling of gift card auctions. There have not been any major changes in the volume of gift cards scheduled. We did however add a few more higher valued gift cards such as the $800 Amazon, $500 Home Depot and $500 Walmart. It's likely you'll see even more higher denomination gift cards scheduled up for auction in the coming weeks. As for the price the auctions are selling for this remains very unpredictable, however trends show the lower valued auctions get less bids placed and therefore sell cheaper.
Regarding the site not updating well, our development team has been working on a new product releases and merging those updates to the database. I spoke with one of our developers and was informed they encountered a couple small bugs during the migration, however were able to react and fix those quickly. If you do notice any bugs please let our customer support team know so we can log the incident which helps our developers investigate and correct any issues.
If you have any other questions or have any suggestions on how we can improve your experience on the site please don't hesitate to get in touch. Sincerely, Dave
There are LOTS of team bidders or possibly it's the same person setting up multiple accounts. I have bid on three different items where there were two others bidding. As soon as I dropped out, one of the others did too letting the other win before someone else joined the auction. That's too much of a coincidence since it's happened three different times within a few days.
I did win an item 2 weeks ago that hasn't shipped yet. It's readily available online or at BestBuy. I contacted their support via e-mail & was told it may be as long as a month from the date the auction was completed. Their FAQ states fast shipping but it isn't.
Hi Jackie, thank you for the feedback. We take "team bidding" aka "collusion" very seriously and it is against the rules and terms of use of our site as is setting up multiple accounts. I hope you have written into our customer support team notifying of suspected team bidding so this can be investigated. If you have not done that yet, please do so immediately.
As for the item you won 2 weeks ago which has not shipped, I'm very sorry for this delay. Our team always does their very best to ensure all items are shipped by our supplying partners promptly and without delay. There must be some explanation for this and my guess is it has to do with a stocking issue. However, if you'd like to write in and provide me with your username I'll be happy to have this looked into straight away and provide you with a status update. If the shipping is still delayed we'd be happy to substitute the item with a gift card of your choice if you would no longer like to wait. Thank you Jackie and I'm sorry for the troubles and I hope you'll reconsider your review of our business.
Sincerely,
Dave
Deal Dash offers excellent support. Shipping is free and very fast.
I have won a lot and I have won more than I have spent.
What I don't like is the auctioning of large bid pks. When people win them
They immediately go into ongoing auctions. This makes it very unfair.
If you do try DD just beware of the winners of large bid pks.
Good feedback Lin, thank you! You're correct that when people win a large bid pack, like 2000 or 5000 bids, it's likely they may go on a bidding rampage to try and win some of the ongoing auctions. If there's anything you think we can improve upon to help make your experience better please don't hesitate to get in touch with our team. Sincerely, Dave
I trade on the internet. I just spent an hour yesterday and an hour today reviewing how the system works. Dealdash is raking in the cash, and statistically, you WILL NOT get a good deal. YES, there are people getting GREAT deals! AND there people winning the lottery too! Dealdash uses the IMMENSE profits from all the bidders to pay the vendors well for the items posted. And don't be ""swayed" by all the positive posts you see here! You think that they are all following the rule "Do not post here if you have an interest in the company"? WINK WINK
Hi Kip,
I'm sorry to see your negative review of our business. Most people that try our service do have a good experience, therefore if someone is not satisfied we'll provide a full refund on their first purchase. One reason people love to shop with us is because we make shopping more fun and provide customers the chance to win some great deals. If you don't win, you can buy the item at regular retail price using the Buy it Now option and get back all the bids. This way you don't lose the money spent on bids and can use them again to try for something else.
There are over 1,000 winners every day and we make a profit in order to exist. The profit margins are comparable to a typical retail store. If you have any other questions or if we can help in any way, please don't hesitate to contact our customer support team. Sincerely, Dave
So bids cost $. 60 to sign up I bought the 60 bid starter pack for $36. Bids hen went on sale for $. 15 so I bought 2000 for $300 thinking that would be plenty of bids. I bid on a $600 iPad and used about 2400 bids with the idea of just buying it at the end and getting my bids back if necessary. This particular iPad sold for $186.24. That is 18,624 bids, let's say each bid was sold for $. 15 that would equal $2,793.60 for an iPad, plus the $186.24 that the winner had to pay. I wish I had invented this ridiculous scam. The people at this site must be raking in money hand over fist due to all the sad dumb people (like me) who just flush their money away. I have tried using my bids on other items since and firmly believe that you cannot win any of these if you have a job or a life. Then I found out that there are software programs out there that people can download to give them extra information and help them win. My advice would be to save your money. I started with the idea that if I only bid on something that I am willing to pay full price for anyway that I can't lose right? Except that after using all of my $350 worth of bids and then having to pay $50 for winning a $350 dollar item, I actually lost $50 and wasted a lot of my time. I'm sure there are people out there that get lucky once in a while or have a system, but it's just like playing in a casino, eventually the house always wins.
Hi Dane, thank you for sharing your experience and I'm sorry to hear you did not enjoy what our service offers. Did you know we provide a 90 day money back guarantee covering your first bid pack purchase, so if you're unhappy with your experience you can get a refund? This gives customers the chance to try the auctions without having to risk losing money if not satisfied. If there's anything we can do to help make your experience better please get in touch with our support team. Sincerely, Dave
Its the only penny auctions site that its fair and honest.
The timers work great, bidbuddy and also you have the option of buy it now.
I visit many other sites and non has the overall selection and customer service that DealDash has. Im very pleased!
Thank you Max and we're happy to hear this. Be sure to get in touch with us if you have any suggestions on how we can make the experience better. Sincerely, Dave
I joined DealDash in September 2012. A friend told me about another penny auction site that I tried for a bit, but did not like, so I used the internet to check out some others. I tried a few of them briefly, but was never impressed. Then, I saw and tried DealDash and truly liked it from the start. I read all the instructions, reviews, and watched some auctions before I tried it. After playing for a while, I discovered that if I had a question or a problem, the Support Team was always there … that REALLY impressed me! I started with small inexpensive items and did pretty well. As I graduated to larger auctions, I was successful and began the quest to try to do all my 2012 Christmas shopping on DealDash. I finished all of my shopping before Thanksgiving! Most of the gifts were impressive and on the expensive side. I purchased everything for pennies on the dollar with free shipping.
After shopping for everyone else, and with several large Amazon cards I won, I was able to purchase a quality bicycle for my husband and a cool tricycle for myself. I also won 2 Nikon cameras, 2 laptops, a Samsung cell phone, 2 Samsung tablets, 3 Dr. Dr headphones, a 45" HDTV, a sewing machine, a pressure cleaner, kitchen appliances, linens, toys, and gift cards galore! I now have all the electronics and gadgets I need.
And just recently I won the "Best Photo of the Week" prize from DealDash and chose to receive a $500 Amazon Gift Card. In addition, I received 200 free bids for the initial posting of the photo on their Facebook page! I volunteer with a local animal rescue operation, and so I'm always looking after animals that need a little extra help. That card will buy a LOT of vitamins, supplements, supplies, food, and litter for these abandoned, abused, and neglected babies.
I am an extremely satisfied DealDash customer. The savings are amazing, the support is amazing, and I see myself as being a DealDash customer for life
PS: I have a little hint for folks who might like to know for sure when a UPS package is being delivered. Sign up for UPS My Choice. You will know exactly when a package is being delivered and then sent a message after it is put on your front porch! You can even have them hold a package or re-route a package.
Thank you Dianne for leaving this feedback! Our team is always available to answer any questions and open to suggestions on how to improve the experience. Sincerely, Dave
I have a great time using Deal Dash and have won 25 items in the past 19 days. Most folks that have a bad experience simply don't understand how to use the site. You should only bid on things that your willing to buy anyway, that way if you lose then you simply use the Buy It Now feature and you'll get all your bids back to try for something else. Since shipping is free, if you use this strategy then its a win win situation. You get the item you wanted and the bids to try again. And if you win, then you've gotten a great deal on something you wanted anyway. Just be patient and watch a few before you start and it will all become clear how to play. Just don't go straight for that big screen TV with no experience and a few hundred bids and expect to win it big.
Hi Kenneth, great bidding advice... "You should only bid on things that your willing to buy anyway, that way if you lose then you simply use the Buy It Now feature and you'll get all your bids back to try for something else. Since shipping is free, if you use this strategy then its a win win situation. You get the item you wanted and the bids to try again. And if you win, then you've gotten a great deal on something you wanted anyway." - Thank you for sharing. Sincerely, Dave
I am winning quite a bit. You really have to know when to hold em and when to fold em. In the beginning, I was getting my butt handed to me. Now I know how and when to bid. I am extremely pleased with the customer service on the site. I get most of the items I have won in just days! I won a 600.00 camera on Saturday and had it by Wednesday. Now that is fast (and FREE) shipping! Great job DD. Now if they could just get rid of the power bidders, I would be in heaven.
Thank you Joyce for the feedback and glad to hear you've been winning! Very good tip... it's important people stick to their budget and calculate in advance how many bids to use in the auction thus not to overspend. Sincerely, Dave
This site is so awesome, they have a array of products for everyone with affordable prices and they offer so many discounts.!
Thank you Sonja! We're excited to start providing even more product variety too. Glad to hear you enjoy shopping with us. If you have any suggestions on how we can make the experience better please be sure to get in touch with our team. Sincerely, Dave
This sight is a total scam?
You bid with bids costing $0.60 that are only worth $0.01 in the auctions and you lose the bid every time you bid. I Bid on an item worth $3000 and lost over $300. The only way I could get my money back was to go ahead and spend another $3000 or full retail. I will never bid again.
Hi Diggs, Sorry to hear you didn't have a good first experience. We have a 90 day money back guarantee covering your first bid pack purchase, so if you're unhappy with your experience you can get a refund - no questions asked! This gives customers like you the chance to try the auctions without having to risk losing your money!
Please get in touch with our customer support staff if you'd like us to process this refund for you. Sincerely, Dave
I have won many things on this site. I think due to all the advertising they do, I now find it harder to get a bargan compaired to other web sites. I only bid on things & use buy it now when bids hit retail
Hi Francis, using the Buy it Now in case you don't win the auction and sticking to a budget are two of the best tips for having the best experience. We'll continue to list more and more auctions as more people are bidding on the site at the same time. If you have any suggestions on how we can make the experience better please be sure to get in touch with our team. Sincerely, Dave
I believe DealDash is THE best auction site there is. The items up for bid are GOOD items, (good quality), the bids are reasonably priced, and delivery time on won auction items is really great!
I've dealt with customer service a couple of times, and they're incredible. The site itself has great incentives, without being convoluted.
I've truly enjoyed the site so far. I would comment further, but I've got to go check a couple of auctions right quick! Yes, I do love my DealDash!
Thank you Donnette for the great feedback! I'm so happy to hear you've really been enjoying your experience on the site. If you have any suggestions on how we can make the experience better please be sure to get in touch with our team. Sincerely, Dave
This is great penny auction site! I have won many, many wonderful items, from gift cards to a solar powered fountain. The customer service is great and products are shipped right away and are in excellent condition.
Thank you Karen! We appreciate the feedback. Let us know if there's anything we can do to make your experience on the website even better.
I have won several gift cards and a grill set. The largest item I won was a 18V dewalt cordless drill for $1.90. It's value was $199. I really like the fact that if you win something that you really don't want that you can trade it for bids. I would recommend the site to family and friends
Hi Phala, great win and thanks for the kind words! Be sure to stay in touch and let us know what we can do to make your experience on the website even better.
DealDash is an absolutely brilliant idea and you can definitely win big. However, my biggest complaint is that the number of auctions are not caught up with the current demand. So many people are joining everyday, and unfortunately, the site just can't keep up, making it increasingly more difficult to win. Yet, if you are a smart bidder, you can at least break even.
Hi Stephanie! Thanks for the comment! We do our best to make sure there are enough auctions to keep people happy, and we'll keep working on this in the future!
This site has afforded me the opportunity to "quench my thirst: for competitive bidding". Bidding from penny sites your thing? Try this one!
Very nice folks in customer service too!
Hi Leroy! Glad we could help!
In two weeks I've won 15 items including a $500 Nikon D3100 DLSR for very little cost and few bids. S&H is always free, how could you beat that? The "Buy It Now Get Bids Back" is a great promo and there is always an incentive of earning free bids for photo submission. Got an issue or question? Email and you will receive a prompt response and speedy resolution. Love my bidding experience with you, DealDash! Looking forward to more blogs and tips on winning..
Hi Yolanda! Good job on your wins, and thanks for the kind words! We do our best to keep customers like you happy, so stay in touch and let us know what we can do to make your experience on the website a great one!
Answer: Thats a hard question to answer, because it depends on the article, and its value. I will say I have won some great Articles, and lost many, maby more. The more valuable the article the harder to win. Personally, I gave up on Deal Dash due to the BID STOMPING and Jumpers and the gready nature of some bidders, who stockpile bids. Also, even though Deal Dash supposedly has means to catch Buddy Bidding, I myself have caught at least 4 people doing buddy bidding, reported it, and nothing was ever done about it. Finally I no longer play on Deal Dash, for the reasons I mentioned, but thats my choice. Its up to you, on what you want to do. Hope this helps.
Answer: Hi Beatriz, I want to start this conversation by inviting you to read our Audit Conducted by Ernst & Young: https://dealdash.files.wordpress.com/2014/12/dealdash_ey_audit.pdf Fair & Honest is a symbolic capture of DealDash's core values, and these certainly start and end with our commitment to being humanistic. I would love to show this to you, how can we help? Please let me know. Adrian Community Manager
Answer: Hi William. If you do not win an auction you will not automatically get the bids back to your account. You have the option to use the Buy it Now button. By using the Buy it Now option you will get the item for retail price and all bids back to your account that you used in the auction. Users who take advantage of this option usually have a better experience, since they both get the item they initially wanted, as well as retain all their bids. If you do not want to use Buy it Now you will unfortunately lose the bids. We recommend our users to bid on items they really want, so that if they lose the auction, they can still get the item and their bids back. Let me know if you have more questions!
Answer: Hi Julie, I hope you are having a wonderful day I'd be happy to explain how the Buy-It-Now option works. Each bid you place takes away one of your bids from your balance and increases the price of the auction by 1 penny, then resetting the clock to 10 seconds. It's in this small window that someone else must decide if they will place a bid to outbid you. If no new bids are placed and you are the final bidder in the auction, you win the auction at the final sales price. If you do not win the auction, you will see the Buy It Now button. By using the Buy it now option, you will get the item for retail price and all the bids you used in that auction will be returned to your bid balance. Users who take advantage of this option usually have a better experience, since they get the item they initially wanted as well as retain all their bids. Please let us know if you have any other questions and be sure to read more about us here: http://www.dealdash.com/how-does-it-work Thanks so much for your great question, please feel free to reach back out and let us know if there's anything else you need. We are always happy to help! Phone: 855-455-3325 Email: [email protected] Live chat available using the contact support button on the webpage
Answer: Hi Emogene! Great to hear you had a good experience and won a few items. Orders are usually delivered in 7-10 business days. I hope you enjoy your items. If you need anything else, please don't hesitate to contact me!
Answer: Hi Kathy - All items are brand new. We work with top suppliers such as Walmart and Sears, who ship the items directly to your door! If you are unhappy with any item you receive, simply contact our support team and they will help you out. If you need anything else, please don't hesitate to contact me!
Answer: Hi Elizaabeth, Thank you for getting in touch. We offer all of our customers a full money back guarantee for the first bid pack purchase. Our payments team can get in touch with you and issue a refund. Please send me a number we can call. My email is [email protected]
Answer: Hi Patricia, Thank you for getting in touch. I am sure this has been a misunderstanding. DealDash is audited by Ernst & Young, confirming that all bids are placed by real customers and all items are delivered. DealDash members and their acquaintances are strictly banned from taking part in the auctions. My guess is that another user may have chosen a user name similar to DealDash. If so, we'll need to change it to avoid confusion. Please send me an email with your user name, so I can find the auctions and spot the user. My email is [email protected] I look forward to hearing from you. Best, Adrian Community Manager
Answer: Hi Jan, For new users, I normally recommend watching our How it Works video for a brief overview of what to expect from the auctions: http://www.dealdash.com/how-does-it-work DealDash has a 100% money back guarantee on your first bid pack purchase and a winning guarantee. If you decide to give DealDash a try and don't win an auction with your first bid pack we'll return the bids back to your account free for a second chance. If you're still not satisfied with your DealDash shopping experience we'll be happy to refund your first bid pack purchase no questions asked. You can even keep any bids in your account or items you have won. Giving DealDash a try is risk free!
Answer: Hi Jasmine. All items on the site are brand new, factory sealed and come with standard manufacturer’s warranties. Vanessa, I am very sorry to hear you have felt that way. Could you please let me know your user name and I'll pull up your account? I'll be happy to assist with any concerns!
Bid on auctions and save. All auctions start at $0 with no minimum price reserve. Everything must go! DealDash is the fair and honest bidding site. Founded in 2009, millions of bidders have enjoyed Deal Dash auctions since.

Thank you George, we appreciate the feedback!
