I put a captcha on my profile. I put one picture of Bamburgh castle on my profile. I explained that I wouldn't reply to generic emails. The first line should describe the building in the photo. No specific emails just generics. I believe this site uses AI and a pattern of life to generate profiles based on your answers to initial questions.I may be a sceptic but the fact that they say each profile is vetted is rubbish. Somebody aged 50 does not look like Ana de Armas.

I often get approached, and men look good, but it costs too much to chat. Is the vetting process really thorough? This is a very expensive website. The monthly subscription bought me about 10 minutes worth of chat/ message time. You get charged for everything you do. Someone sends you a photo during a chat you get charged a fee if you open it
Plus I was contacted by a lot of women veho were scammers. They just wanted money. Beautiful sexy white women supposedly living in the US but using African phone numbers. They give you information using metric units or US units that do not match with the person in the picture.

I have wasted a few $hundreds on this $#*!ty website. These are obvious scammer who run about 5 other sites which are identical to each other except that they use other fake woman to entice unsuspecting men.
I had corresponded with a faiky called 'Vivi' for 2 months. We agreed, via (costly) emails and chats to meet on a video call on a specific date and time. At that specific time she got...sick and disappeared off line for a month or so. When I finally saw Online, I tried to start a video call which wasn't technically possible. I wrote 'her' a Chat in which I said that I suspect she isn't a woman though a good robot, and I will only believe if I can see and talk with her on a video call. She then replied, in a chat that she doesn't want to hear from me again, and only then I concluded that I had corresponded with a scammer.

Scam they only send video voice in another language and think that's funny? They are never off line no matter what time it is but hold down a real job? Had a friend get roped into this and it was horrific. They drained her bank account, maxed out her credit card. They sent her fake profile chat from a "too good to be true" guy that would only talk to her on the site and not call her or text her in real life. They coarced her through love bombing to spend more money on emojis and communication in order to keep her spending her money. It was a team of bots chatting to her through the night keeping her hooked and in a loop of spending more money, like a casino taking advantage of gamblers. This sight is a total scam desigbed to prey on vulnerable older people seeking love and connection. Do not use this sight. They need to be reported and get shut down, it's horrific.

My profile is still active although I contacted DateMyAge customer service thousands of times and requested to remove it. Moreover, these fraudsters are still trying to charge my cc.

I have been on a lot of dating sites and this is by far the biggest scam I have ever seen. First and foremost, the cost is atrocious you pay for a subscription and then on top of it you have to purchase credits to even talk to anybody. Like what is the subscription feet for, and the subscription is already twice as much as any other dating app. There are all of these unreal looking people with verified logos who seem to talk up the app and the logistics as security measures. It's the weirdest thing I've ever seen. Men don't talk like that. In addition, sometimes the responses don't match the conversation. Or the responses will refer to the person in the third, which leads me to believe it's some AI bot generated ish.
The layers of conversation and paying twenty credits to see a picture or an email is robbery.

This website does not care about providing great customer service. I requested a refund and it was denied. I renewed my credits and it only lasted an hour. I've been on other dating sites that charged a monthly fee for unlimited texts. I don't recommend date my age website because I've been struggling with them since last year

What a ridiculous waste of time! My matches were either downright odd females or bots or drama queens. There are also bunch of scammers, since there is no vetting. Now I only use sites which vet profiles. But I learned this lesson the hard way, having wasted my money and plenty of time on DateMyAge, trying to find a gem among scammers, bots and weirdos.
