Upgraded to the cyberpower pc from a triton pc and the difference is amazing! I would recommend this pc to anyone who would get one!
Please avoid dealing with Cyberpower at all cost!
They sold me a faulty laptop which I agreed to have repaired.
They kept it for a whole month and it still came back faulty.
I therefore asked for a replacement to which they agreed to but then declined saying that it had a "scratch" on it.
I therefore asked for a refund which they gave me but charged me over £130.00 to "repair" the scratch.
All in all I have used the laptop for less than 2 weeks at the cost £130.00 and have nothing to show for it but loads of headaches and disappointment... Of course Cyberpower took no responsibility at all for selling me a faulty £750.00 item to begin with... Well done Cyberpower for showing your true colors, just keep caring about your pockets and not your customers!
Just a Note, I am from Kentucky so therefor it does take a while to ship it back in forth and to add one, we have been having a lot of tornadoes.
So I ordered a 3,000$ Custom PC from these people, it arrived within 2 weeks which is really good considering it had an 3080 but turns out it had a defective GPU, I emailed the support and within 3 days, I was already given a Label and today it is being shipped back for free. Honestly their support is semi fast and really good.
Generally have had no issues, only thing is that the cpu cooler was not good enough for the cpu in the computer (i9 *******k), it was the preset option and it was a 1 fan liquid cooler which wasn't good enough so i had to install a noctua NH-D15S but other than that no problems. Good quality for prebuilts, would recommend
Purchased a new computer from them (I'm a long time loyal customer). Upon receiving it and setting it up the computer showed blue screen and 'disk repair' prompt. Called tech support, they told me that windows must be corrupted. How can that be? This is the first time I'm powering up the computer and it does not work? I had to send the computer back. Spoke with tech support on status. Was told 10-14 days. I have lost over 3 weeks of productivity due to their incompetence. How does a computer not work right out of the box? Is there any quality control? Apparently not. There was also no attempt at compensation for this. Trust me, I will NEVER purchase another product from this company and in my line of work (Web design, software engineering and game testing) I will make it my life's mission to let everyone I come across to STAY AWAY FROM CYBERPOWERPC. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND TERRIBLE QUALITY CONTROL. This company is a perfect example of leadership failure. Make defective products, send them to customers, and when they don't work tell the customer, 'oh well, that's just too bad.'
This pc i got from cyberpower is great curshes everything i do on it great for gaming runs great and anything you want
I received a broken Pc. Cyberpowerpc does not give a $#*! about you. DONT buy a Pc from this BS compagnie this is the only advide I can give you. I totaly regret my experience.\
They dont give a $#*! about their services, their product AND their cleints. If I could give 0 star I would
Boken HDD and Broken/unpluged/lousse wires...
This was an amazing purchase and i would do it a million more times if i could. Cyberpower pc's are amazing at what they do and fulfill what you are purchasing to the max and even give you extra free goodies. 10/10 would recommend.
I bought a $2800 PC from these guys. When I got it, I noticed the CPU was getting up to 100 degrees Celsius when I played high-end games. I called to complain and they said to send it back AT MY COST and they'd take a look. After spending $2800, that wasn't happening.
Took it to a local computer shop and they found out the CPU cooling fan connector was connected to the case cooling fan header! What the $#*!? They could NOT have stress tested this PC or would have noticed the temps were ridiculous right away.
He also moved the fan to the opposite side of the box to fix other cooling issues. My PC now runs fantastically, no thanks to this company.
FYI, he charged me $80, which is a lot less than mailing the PC back just to have them $#*! up again. When I contacted them and told them how they screwed up, the response was, "Well, there's nothing we can do about it." No refund, no apology, no credit.
This was my first cyberpowerpc and it will be my last. I have two iBuyPower PCs and never had any problems.
I am so happy that I got this CyberPowerPC from BestBuy. It came play ready and easy to set up. I've been playing Fortnite, and the graphics are freaking amazing. The lights on the CyberPower PC are changeable and have a variety of different colors like blue, red, pink etc. they also change in motion and appearance. The speed on this PC is fast and i get well over 240 fps. Well worth your money with a guarantee smile on your face
We purchased $3500 of supplies for a new computer, screen, etc. My husband set up the computer the day we received it; however, it did not work. He spent almost 2 hours with customer service on the phone, and they instructed him to take apart certain pieces and put it back, however it still did not work. They gave NO option for a new computer and instead said we would have to send it back to be repaired and wait weeks for them to repair it. The other option if for us to pay $70 for shipping to return it for a refund. Absolutely horrible customer service. The employees just kept reading the same lines over and over. It is a scam that they send you a broken computer and do not offer to switch it out for a new one! How am I supposed to trust a company that sends out broken "new" items which you have to send back right away to be repaired?!
I had picked the components for a laptop, a Tracer V series. I added the Killer Wifi card as one of the upgrades. Not two weeks went by before the card failed, giving me "Error 10". I chatted with support which, no lie was almost an hour wait. Was given instructions to download new software, which didn't work. Still read Error 10. It took looking through reddit to find out a large majority of these cards fail from this brand. To add insult to injury, I had to wait another hour just to get someone on the phone to tell me I can't get a different card for the same value, which cost $130. My options are to exchange it, but get this, I pay to have it shipped to them. I have to pay to ship a card that they know is defective, from a brand that everyone has an issue with? And get the same type of wifi card? My mistake was not going to Dell like I should have.
I ordered a $2,000 PC in 2020. 10 months using the computer - I'm told by customer service help that it sounds like the INTEL processor is dying. Cyberpowerpc was great at replacing it and because I paid for the shipping service in my order ($19.00) it shipped back for free, BUT 6 months after that repair, the SAME thing happened. Seriously!
My personal experience with computers goes back 40 years. I taught end users in the early 90s. I have never purchased a "premade" PC. I've always customized my builds and I've always used INTEL processors. In all that time, I've never had ONE let alone TWO INTEL processors die on me. It is odd and obviously not a character of a PC to have two INTEL processors die. Cyberpowerpc returned the repaired PC with the invoice stating it was the processor. Then the exact same behavior began again 5 months later and quickly just died. I now have a DEAD PC. I've emailed the company and so far I've received nothing but canned emails in return. No customer service, well I guess that's expected since my original warranty is now expired. But anyone paying $2 grand on a PC should be able to expect it to last longer than 16 months. Yes, this PC was upgradable to Windows 11 but died first.
ADVICE: Go back to Dell or HP. Do not use.
I am usually reserved about any negative reviews, but I feel spending $2,000 on a gaming PC should not die within 16 months. I had a Dell XPS back in 2006 and it ran until 2012. So, I've gone back to Dell. They customize so you can get what you want from them. My new one is around $1500 and better than this one that died twice in 16 months.
I got the computer and the monitor was blurry. Assuming since it was an old monitor that somehow made it incompatible. So I ordered a new one. Still blurry, so I get on their site. Try to "live chat" with them. After about 30 minutes I click the send me an email when available.
I found a bunch of info online about this being common so I tried all that, none of it worked. Found out the video card wasn't working. Went to Nvidia support, they were wonderful. Within 30 minutes we went through a bunch of diagnostic and found out the hardware for the video card wasn't working.
After 4 days I call cyberpower and get on the "live chat" again. At 4pm it dropped me from the live chat saying they were unavailable. I spent an hour and a half on the phone on hold, with it saying average wait time of 13 minutes. Gave up and called to get a refund. The person on the phone for the refund had a terrible attitude, told him what happened and he said, ok. Thats it. Then they are going to charge you shipping to return a damaged product that never worked. So for $370 I got a new monitor out of it, that I did not get from them. Stay away from this company.
Had an issue with my computer less than a year in. Got an RMA for it and sent it in. Paid the shipping prices cause they dont cover that and they sent me back my computer with a new SSD. Great!
After receiving it i plugged it in to find out the computer was in worse shape than when I sent it to them. The GPU was also completely dead. I got ahold of them and they set up a new RMA. I had to send them the broken GPU for them to send me a "New" one. I received it a few days ago and it is also busted. I called them back and they want to set up a 3RD Rma to fix it. Where i would need to pay for the shipping for a 3rd time to get it to them to send me more broken components. No trust they will fix the issue and no faith in them as a company.
DO NOT BUY CYBERPOWER PCS
They have the worst customer service ive ever seen in my life.
I ordered a custom pc from cyberpower and upon arrival it did not work. I contacted customer support and wasn't provided any help to get my computer working or what could possibly be wrong and was hung up on by CyberPower's tech support. I called again and got a different person from their tech support. His response was to see if I could have a family member or a friend come figure out what was wrong with my brand new custom built computer and fix it. I didn't purchase an expensive custom computer built by cyberpower in order to receive a completely dis functional product with zero support help. Eventually I was told that I could send my computer back to cyberpower to have them fix it and then return me a functional computer. I sent them my computer 11 days ago and I have not heard anything back from them at all. I sent them an email requesting an update of the status of my computer which was not responded to. I also tried calling them four separate times over the course of three days waiting over an hour when they claim their average wait time is 5-6 minutes. Which resulted in them dropping my call while I was still on hold. So I still have no idea on the status of my custom pc that costs around $2,500. I also paid extra money for shipping to receive my computer faster and now I am currently delayed almost two extra weeks with no update at all and have not received any information or compensation for their poor quality control, poor customer support, the worst tech support I have ever dealt with, and their poor communication overall. I would not recommend anybody to purchase anything from cyberpower if you are expecting to have a functional computer with good customer service and support. I will personally never buy anything from them again.
I just bought this pc and im already in love with it. Ive always been a console person but after purchasing this pc it has completely turned me around. It runs so smooth!
I bought a new pc for almost 4,000 dollars and it came it basically broken.
The CPU cooler had a dent in it.
The front panel USB, hasn't worked since I got it.
The keyboard came in broken.
And who knows what other products were used.
Still waiting 12 days and counting for replacement power supply to fix 5 day old new pc. This is unacceptable.
I want to preface this review by saying I wanted to trust this company so badly. When I first discovered this company, I saw the reviews were either very positive or extremely negative but I really wanted a PC, so I overlooked the negative ones and went through with the purchase. After waiting months and, again, overlooking some bad customer service, I was still so happy to unbox and play my on my computer when it arrived. Fast forward to only 6 months later and the main component, the motherboard, dies and leaves my whole computer power cycling. When I tried to contact Cyberpower about this, they would not answer a single call. I actually set an alarm to call them every hour, on the hour and almost EVERY TIME I was told all representatives were busy and the two times I did get through, I was on hold for over 40 mins both times. After weeks, an email finally got responded to and I was able to get the PC sent back, only to have it return a month later with my Windows OS wiped clean and my SSD card missing completely. When I contacted Cyberpower yet again, they tried to say the Windows being wiped was my fault for not giving them my password(I did) and also claimed I was lying about missing my SSD and had me take multiple pictures which really was just insulting after I spent nearly $2000 at this company. Long story short, I would not recommend this company to anyone else in the future due to absolutely garbage customer support and honestly just a lot of discombobulation and miscommunication between the corporate office and the warehouse the computers are built.
Answer: They sell inferior hardware, and can't seem to diagnose issues without breaking the hardware. It's not a scam in the traditional sense. You'll definitely get something, it just won't be worth the money, and dealing with them isn't worth the stress or time.
Answer: Wanted a custom build machine with two video cards. Few companies do that, and most of those are for the uber gamer which I am not.
Answer: Get ahold of them? Not hard, just a long wait. But them being able to assist you appropriately and in a meaningful way? Not really.
