No Crave, It's Not My Device. It's Your App.

Crave buffers every few minutes repeatedly. I can't even get through a movie. I looked up online to see if this was a widespread issue only to see that Craves own site answers this issue by suggesting that all streaming apps have this problem and that the problem most likely is with a devices internet connection.

Well, I have Netflix and Disney+ on my iPad, and I don't have this problem with either. So no, crave, the issue is YOU, not my device or internet. The worse part, Crave costs more than Netflix and is twice as expensive as Disney+. If your stupid app will ever let me get through the Snyder Cut of Justice League, I'm 100% cancelling my subscription. Either way I'm canceling unless they grow some balls, admit they have the problem and work towards solving it.

Crave tv, I'd sooner pay for the clap

Crave tv is perhaps the weakest streaming service available In 2021, for the price of most other premium streaming services you get next to nothing, proper HBO content and most of the good movies are hidden behind a secondary pay wall. I briefly subscribed. Will never make the same mistake again. Wish I could get my 10 bucks back. I'll pay for a kick in the testicles before I'll ever subscribe to this garbage again. Shame on you HBO and Crave. Why would anyone pay for this? Stream it online

The resolution is capped at 720p and depending on why device you're using, the bitrate makes it worse. It has nothing to do with your internet connection, but with their awful software. It feels very clunky and slow. No excuse for having this in 2021. I'm glad I never paid for this service and I'm cancelling way before my trial period is up.

Buffers

Crave says its my internet causing constant buffering, but i have never in 5 years had Netflix, amazon prime or daily motion buffer customer service is the worst. I guess if they keep losing customers they will go and cry for more tax payers money and cry that the big Americans don't playing nice and i m taking my ball and going home

Far to costly for the price. I get the Disney Channel for the same amount paid to crave and it has FAR more entertainment than crave and HBO combined. They will not refund. Beware this is also renewed automatically. Make sure to cancel your subscription. Run long and run hard from this provider. Leslie

As painful as it was just to even set the app up and create an account (had to set it up from phone as it wouldn't allow us to register through the app on the tv) I didn't think it could get worse. Wrong! After setting it up on 3 TVs, we tried to set it up on a 4th and received an error message that too many units were trying to use the app which had a limit of 5... yes 5, but we had only used it on 3 units. Imagine paying for a service that you cannot access on any of your devices!

Now, it had been working and as I go to play a show it is now telling me that I need a different cable to view their shows (which I have been able to view previously - I will NOT be buying a new cable)

OH and the part is yet to come. I only downloaded the stupid app to watch game of thrones. I got through 6 seasons and then it tells me that I need to upgrade for more $$ of course to view the last two seasons. BYE CRAVE! What a joke.

Back to netflix I go, who has never let me down!

After a year of Crave I decided to cancel as I found it too expensive as you need to buy HBO package as well to make it worth while. I cancelled so I thought but apparently only cancelled the HBO package. I bought the Crave package for 1 year as it was cheaper than monthly. I soon realized a day after my subscription was supposed to end that it did not. I called Crave and they said they would cancel it and refund me the year subscription. After another month I did not get my refund I decided to call them. They declined my refund for the whole year. They didn't bother to tell me this. For being 1 day late cancelling I have to pay for a full year. Not just 1 month. BULL$#*!!

Interface sucks

Good content but can barely watch. Constant issues with interface - clunky, slow, glitchy. To the point it makes watching good shows tedious. Get it together bell or we are leaving.

Not only have I had so many issues with the app on both my tv and phone since the beginning, now when I'm in the middle of watching a show I am now receiving a prompt message that I have to pay an extra 100 dollars on top of the 100 I already wasted in order to continue to watching. That is absolutely ridiculous and unheard of. There is not a single streaming service that does this. There is no way I will pay another $100 out of my pocket to watch 2 more seasons. It was not worth $100 in the first place! It is glitchy, the app freezes a lot, and it always makes me log in every time I go to use (never have to do that with Netflix and Disney) and now I'm being told I have to pay an additional fee for something I'm in the middle of watching. So ridiculous! This is the worst streaming service ever. So overpriced, not to mention all the money grabs (ie getting hooked on a show that you only have to access to until the last 2 seasons which you have to pay an extra $100 for). Laughable.
I asked for my money back in full, wish me luck! I hear the customer service is just as trash as their streaming service.

You $#*!in idiots I just wrote the reasons why I hate crave and you force me to sign up in order that my complain goes thru then you ask me to review again Did my complain go thru? I have crave, it sucks why am I watching 1 hr shows sitcoms comedy or some biography of someone It was way way better when it was called MTV. Crave should be all about movies simple as that I can watch comedies in comedy channels For the money I pay I am NOT getting the benefit for these channels Maybe I should cancel. Crave and move to super channel.

We thought Crave would be another excellent choice for my family to watch besides Netflix but it turned out to be a very big disappointment. Just when everything was going great, we found out we need to upgrade our subscription in order to watch the last 2 seasons of Game of Thrones. You would have to subscribe both Crave and Movies+HBO to be able to watch full Game of Thrones series which costs us roughly $20/month plus tax. This is a huge disappointment and I feel like this is such a big trap during such a pandemic when all we need is good entertainment. I think Crave should spend more time on developing their movie collections and make their app more user-friendly than exploiting customers' money.

This company is a SCAM

CRAVE is absolute garbage. They have terrible customer service, consistent glitches in the streaming service, and they took my money without my permission. I asked to speak to a manager several times and was told no with no reasoning as to why. Are there even managers at this company? Or is it run by scammers. Don't waste your money. It's extremely expensive and the content you get is not worth the price. Netflix is much better. CRAVE is a scam. They will take your money without your permission and tell you "no refunds allowed" when you ask for it back ON your renewal date. Don't give them your credit card information, they will steal from you.

Horrible Service

As a long time and hapoy subscriber to Netflix, Prime and Disney+ I thought I'd try Crave as they promote a number of shows that interested me. When I subscribed I was invited to "add on" additional services in order to get the shows I wanted. I did so. I tried to access one of the shows i thought was included in my
Now $20/month subscription only to be advised that yet another "add on" $$$' would be required. I tried to cancel immediately but did not received my money back.

Horrible services. I'm surprised you they able to compete with providers like Netflix, Prime and Disney +. I find their marketing to be very deceptive.

By FAR the worst

When you can log in, which is rare itself, the interface is very VERY slow. Like they're running a 1985 server. I'm subscribed (was) to the whole package, but alas, it tells me I have to subscribe to watch ANY show. It logs you out randomly, and error messages are more frequent than any actual programming. To log in on an Xbox you have to go online and run through a maze of other stuff... so it can give you yet one more error message! An absolute joke of an app. You'd have more chance of dreaming a show than watching it in Crave. My subscription has now been canceled with a big F. U stamp - and I for one will never go back.

2 minutes of show-- and then the same three $#*!ing ads ad$#*!ing nauseum
And you couldn't FF thru the first one
I figured getting crave would cut out the crap

Customer care sucks big time. Trying to sign in became a surgery without anaesthetics, painful. We eventually gave up. My family are done with Crave.
Insult to injury. I have to sign up with Sitejabber to post this.
Lying about keeping my information safe, do not help either.
