I ordered my daughters prom dress from this site because they claim that they have a reputable return policy. They make it very difficult to obtain a return label. The customer service people are rude. When I requested to talk to a manager they put me on hold for 18 minutes and then hung up on me. When I called back they were closed. There are too many good companies out there that put their customers needs first. This is not one of them. The hassle is not worth trying a new dress.
Make sure you read the return policy - it's way harsh! I am blaming myself for not paying stricter attention to the return policy. The first dress I returned (fit but was too somber) resulted in a loss of over $100 and a gift card. I used the gift card to purchase another dress, which did not fit although the measurements were larger than the dress I returned. I was informed you cannot return a dress purchased with a gift card. So, I've spent $700 and have a dress worth $500 that I cannot fit. I'm waiting for them to inform me I cannot use the balance of the gift card. This was an expensive lesson and I will NOT recommend this site to anyone.
I had just received the gowns and I must say that they are gorgeous! The details are as stated and the materials are of good quality. The customer service was very accommodating in helping me look for the specific style I wanted. All in all, I highly recommending Couture Candy!

I have been ordering online for a few years now, and I have dealt with so many online sites with their hidden charges. But in this website and with the help of a representative. They were able to explain to me clearly and was able to get a dress. Good thing, I never need to return it since the dress fits me so well! And I got a it RIGHT TIME! I am very much satisfied with the service!
The dress is gorgeous and very detailed. I tried it as soon as I got it, and looks perfect on me, love the material. It is definitely worth the price and wait!
Website is misleading.
Return policy is murky at best. Finally got a return number but no label or return address.
They stall so you miss the small window and they won't have to even give you a lousy merchandise credit.
They will not inform you if how to use the credit until after they receive the return.
There was a problem with the size, my daughter didn't took her measurements and didn't bother looking at the size chart when she made the purchase. The dress came a little bit big and their customer service rep Ashley explained to us that sizes vary from the brands. Everything was taken care of and we already have the replacement gown which perfectly fits my Princess.
The return terms are not properly listed on the website.
You need to call and go through a process of several steps to get a label to send back an item.
Then you find out they only issue a store credit good for six months?
And you need to do your return within 5 days. The policy on the website is very vague and tricky.It doesnt say that they also charge restocking fee. Customer service is slow and Iam still waiting for the return label. In this day and age where other stores offer free shipping and free returns, couture candy charges for the shipping, return restocking fee and gives you credit and not a refund.
My daughters needed prom dresses and they found this website and immediately placed the order. I was reluctant bec I had some bad experience with other online stores. But they convinced me anyway and so far is the best decision I've ever made with them.
If only I would've read the horrible reviews, before I purchased from this site. PLEASE DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY! The negative reviews are 100% accurate! Absolutely the most God awful experience you can imagine, and a complete rip off! BUYER BEWARE AND SHOP ELSEWHERE!
I purchased a long red dress from a local boutique in a size 8. It was a little big but i loved the dress. It was difficult to alter so i checked the label that read CoutureCandy. I googled the site, found my dress, ordered it in a 6 and it fits perfect! I passed the size 8 on to a friend who fell in love with it too! Win Win for two of us :)

I needed the dress in a short period of time and I was able to get the dress right on time. Thank God for this website and all the representatives I worked on to help me in getting the dress on time. Be aware this place does not return phone calls or emails. Only pay through PayPal so you can get your money back! I ordered a dress and paid for expedited shipping. The dress never showed up and they never would pick up the phone or answer numerous emails. They grabbed the money and ran. PayPal has stepped in and is going to issue a full refund. Horrible customer service!
This company is as unethical as it comes. Lie, cheat and steal! Before I ordered a couture gown I called and asked specifically if ALL of my money would be returned if it didn't fit, even though website said item could be returned. Was told yes. I even asked if there is a restocking fee. Was told no. Full price would be refunded. This call was recorded (so they say). When I went to return it there was no response to my email request for return label so I called and was told by rude representative I would only receive 15 percent of purchase. When I said that was not what I was told, she said she would review tape and get back to me with return label. Never did and now they will not respond at all. WORST COMPANY I HAVE EVER DELT WITH.
WATCH OUT>>> IN this day and age do not return ONLY store credit. CRAZY<<< HORRIBLE and with no obvious warning when purchasing. THANK GOODNESS one of my purchases was no stocked. Ironically took them seven days to let me know. TERRIBLE TERRIBLE...

They DON'T RETURN FOR REFUND!
I ordered a dress that was tight on me, so I returned it within 3 days and they sent me a gift card! What the heck am I going to do with a $670 store credit! And also they DEDUCTED the shipping cost from my refund. I have NEVER seen or heard of such a policy! Please be aware everyone, I wish I seen a review somewhere to warn me.
