Don't believe in the five stars comments
It stands out that whenever there is an honest comment
Is written about the catastrophic customer service
Immediately followed by several "alleged" five star comments.
Where should they come from?
I totally agree with all honest commentators (those who have honestly written about the experience of disastrous customer service)

I ordered a Costway 70 pint Dehumidifier on Walmart.com and when it arrived upon opening I discovered the unit was damaged. The front was partially disassembled and little broken pieces of black plastic fell out of the bottom of the unit. I repacked it and took it to our local Walmart but they advised me I had to contact Costway for a refund since it was a Marketplace item. I emailed Costway to request initiating a refund and they emailed me back requesting photos of the damage. I emailed them pictures of the damage and then received a reply from them asking me if I would accept a $40 refund and keep the damaged unit to use. I, of course, replied that I wanted the full $219 refund since the unit arrived damaged. So we will see what happens from here. Costway is getting this damaged dehumidifier back whether they want it or not. (Part 2) Costway again contacted me and offered a $150 refund and I keep the damaged unit and find someone local to fix it. I again advised I demand a total refund and now the communications from their end has ceased. I'll be working other avenues...

(Part 3) I received another email from Costway and they have finally agreed to issue me a full refund for the damaged product I received. When the transaction has been completed I will update my reviews of Costway.

(Finale) The full refund of my purchase price has been posted to my credit card account and Costway advised me to keep the damaged dehumidifier. I now consider the matter resolved.

Don't Buy

Don't waste your money on Costway products. We purchased a hammock stand that was advertised to fit between 9' to 15' hammocks. We have a 14' hammock and it is adusted as far as it can go. You lay on the ground so obviously about a 9' hammock is all it actually fits. It also arrived missing parts and Costway does not warranty what they sell. Shop a reliable and trustworthy site.

I placed my order and got shipping label confirmation the same day but now 5 days later it has not shipped. I reached out to customer service via email and have not heard anything. I should have trusted my gut and not ordered from this place. There is no customer service phone # - go figure. I am going to give it until the end of the week and if nothing, I am doing to file a claim with my credit card company for a refund on an order that I never received! So disappointed!

Missing Parts
May 20, 2020

Purchased a kitchen island that was missing the bottoms of BOTH drawers. Tried to contact customer service and still waiting for a reply, and from reading other reviews seems this happens a lot. I see lots of complaints of missing pieces/defective products and unanswered messages to customer service. Purchase from this company at your own risk.

Purchased a "HYET" dual action polisher - exactly what their website shows. Received a "IRONMAN" polisher instead. Contacted company - they provided an odd response - that it was still the same product just a different name? - refunded $10 for my trouble.
Started using polisher - obvious the speed controller was defective. Contacted company for replacement/ refund. Company requested a video of the issue which I provided. Again requested a refund
Now they say they want to provide the defective part - no indication how its supposed to be repaired. Told me 25-30 days wait time.
Had to file a dispute with my credit card company - hopefully will get a refund.
PS - they still are advertising the wrong product - different than what I got.

Ordered on May 1st and immediately they took my money. Next day received shipping info via UPS. As of today May 19th Ithe tracking has not moved from initial scan. Emailed customer service several times and they were vague and asked me to wait. I had to file a dispute with Paypal to get my money back. Their explanation was that the package must have gotten lost by UPS. Terrible customer service. If you don't need these kind of headaches stay away from Costway. This was my first experience with them and my last.

The frame to the love seat
Part"C" came damaged on May 6. (All bent and out of alignment)
After leaving eight emails and 10 voicemails I finally get somebody to get back to me after five days.
They issue me a FedEx label stating the replacement will be here by today, Friday 5/15, Meanwhile it hasn't even left the warehouse.
After calling and waiting on hold waiting For 1-1/2 another 3x's I just get hung up on when I call the service number. Finally,
I've had Jasmine, And Monica, Two representatives of costway just give me a run around by email asking me if they wanna give me a refund for $40 for the waiting or just To cancel the order completely for a full refund.
I just want the part replaced.
I just lost my father to Covid-19 And thought I would have a nice quiet serene comfortable place to sit and relax out on my patio I haven't been able to do that yet, and it's the only thing that I thought would get me by but I've had nothing but aggravation throughout this entire purchase process!
Please send me the replacement of the part "C" the love seat frame.

This company will ship your product broken, not stand behind their products they sell, will not respond to your emails of any issues and make it very hard to contact them via phone with estimated long waits of 50 min. Or more. Please heed this warning before you buy anything from this company. They do not know how to run their business nor how to provide customer service to paying customers.
Strongly recommend you reconsider buying here and understand what may happen to you if you do.

I purchased an inflatable hot tub a little over a month ago. I thoroughly read the instructions I assembled it correctly and it states change the filter monthly. I only used this tub 4 times because it never got hot enough. It says it reaches 104 but it was luke warm at best every time. I even put an extra blanket on the unit and pillows over the hot tub cover to try and get it to heat. It took over 3 days and still does not get hot. Also when I turn the bubble mechanism on the temperature gauge increases and decreases in temp at a rapid rate. I have told costway this via email. They take DAYS to get back. They asked for a video and I sent them a video clearly showing it doesn't reach temp and the malfunction with the bubbles. They then replied that I needed to have the lid on to heat it up and asked if I have changed the filter after using it four times. I replied that I even put blankets over it to try and get it to heat that I am fully aware it needs to be covered while heating. I informed them I have rinsed the filter 2 times but it should not need to be changed as it is barely used. They have yet to respond and this was 5 days ago. They can see I have barely had it. The last thing I want to do is drain it and pay to send it back but they don't seem to want to honor their warranty. This is a con company. Now I am trying to call them and I am an hour and a half wait. Really I am just so sad. I am not rich and I was looking forward to this. I took the little extra money I had and treated myself to a broken hot tub that I can clearly see they wont honor their 90 day warranty. I could literally cry. I should have read the reviews before ordering through them. 0 stars.

Ordered the umbrella on April 21st, on the 22nd received an email stating that the order had shipped. Not true, the tracking indicates: Order Processed: Ready for UPS. The order has been in Order Processed: Ready for UPS, status for 14 days with no communication. Emails sent to the company have not been responded to. The company does not list a phone number. My payment was processed and nothing shipped. Out $300 with nothing to show for it.

I've never purchased from this site before, quickly read some reviews and thought, seems legit and a good deal so why not. Well- wish I had seen this site before I purchased! They had NO issues charging my credit card, but do not answer emails! I've been trying to find out when my order will ship as it's shown "ready for UPS pick up" for a week now. No replies. I'll be claiming fraudulent charges soon... and clearly will never purchase from here again.

Costway Lost My Order
April 22, 2020

I ordered a treadmill two weeks ago and received an email today from Costway that the package was "lost in pick up." So they cancelled my order and issued a refund. What does that mean? Lost in pick up? They created a Fed Ex label and never shipped it. Why couldn't they just locate another one in their warehouse instead of canceling the order? I tried to reorder the same treadmill and the price went up from $399.99 to $489.99 and now it's out of stock. This is a scam company.

Refunded, After deadline

I ordered a hitch mount bike rack for Christmas last November, 2018.
Living in a rather northern climate, obviously it wasn't used for a couple months.
When I finally went to use it, it didn't even fit in a hitch!
Initially they told me that I was past the 30 or so days to Say something.
After AGAIN Explaining the Situation (cause for delay) and sending them a video showing it not even fitting into the hitch.
They Did issue a Full Refund.
Though I wanted the Manufacturer's contact,
So that I could have a Functional item. 8(

Great seller

I was concerned about ordering an expensive item from a company I really didn't know but I decided to take a chance. Our experience couldn't have been better. Purchasing from Costway couldn't have been easier, our new pond filter arrived on time and best of all - our pond has never looked so good as you can see from the before and after photos.

BLATANT DEFAMATION and never responded to myself nor lawyers even after here providing requested info of our numerous emails. Have my lawyers on top of this as their has been. Defamation from your company. Also i purchased from this company June 28 and they false reported on Amazon July 9 with false counterfeit claim causing loss of my store. Customer service doesnt respond they pick and choose who they respond to and will blantly ignore contact attempts. This company has no integrity and are full of lies! They promised to withdraw claim with Amazon on another platform and never followed through! STAY AWAY FROM THESE FRAUDS!

Costway trampoline

We purchased a trampoline from this company through Walmart.com. When we recovers the order in October 2018 we put the boxes in our storage shed to wait until spring to assemble it. When we open the boxes in April 2019 we noticed that 2 of the boxes had the same contents and we couldn't assemble it cause we didn't have all of the pieces. When we contacted costway they said that it was passed the 30 days so we couldn't do anything. After continuing to contact them about this problem they asked for a picture of the boxes that we received and said that they had confirmed that we had received a wrong box and sent us the correct box that we were missing. They said that it would take 5-6 days to get it to us however it only took 4 days. After they confirmed that it was the wrong box they were very helpful in correcting the problem even though it had been months passed the 30 day limit and apologized repeatedly for the problem. It proves that if you have a problem and continue to try to work with the company to correct it then sometimes you can find a solution together. I would recommend this company cause they do fix problems if they occur.

Trampoline

We purchased a trampoline from Walmart.com and received it in a timely manner. When we received it in late October we had forecast for snow so we decided to wait until spring to setup and placed the boxes into our storage shed for the winter. When we opened the boxes in late March we discovered that we had 2 boxes of legs and didn't have the box containing the jumping mat and the round poles that the jumping mat connects to. When we contacted costway they said that it was past the 3 month warranty period and they wouldn't send the correct parts, Walmart said the same thing. We have tried to contact costway at least 5 times and left messages about how we can get the correct parts from them and they have refused to return our calls. We are very dissatisfied with this outcome as we have 5 boxes of trampoline parts and can't use them. We will be contacting our lawyer about this issue and the better business bureau. We DO NOT RECOMMEND purchasing ANYTHING from this company.
