My dad is in his 80's and i needed a night light that would turn on when he got out of bed in the middle of the night.The light switch was about 10 feet away. I tried 4 different lights and the Cooper Regent lighting HS-8 90-Degree Motion-Activated Night Light was by far the best. I put one in the bathroom, bedroom, hallway and kitchen. I noticed that sometimes he had enough light to do what he needs to without turning the light on in the room, although i don't recommend it and i tell him that.He hasn't had a fall since i got the lights and that has saved him from getting hurt and possibly going to the hospital/nursing home and less stress on me. I have had three turning on and off for over three years now and still as bright as new. A+++.
