They deserve no stars. I sent in a check for a partial payment. They deposited the check in the amount that was owed on the account. Resulting in an extra 300 taken out of my account. I called them and was told they would investigate and refund money in 4 to 6 weeks. Now going to file a complaint with my bank.

The phone system is deplorable. Besides exorbitant wait times, you simply can not get in touch with a doctor's office directly.
Getting medical records is like climbing Kilimanjaro.
It is a shame, the nursing and medical care is pretty good but I will never recommend anyone go there due to the communication system.
Who has time to sit on hold for 30 plus minutes every time!

You may have a day of relief after your injection but that will disappear after the time
They call you from your injection. And you go back to feeling like you did before the
Injection and when you call them to discuss they will say you may need another
Injection before you are able to feel better. Don't believe the hype! Another bill
Is coming your way. I am sure like others feel that they are getting the run around
And not getting the care they were assured from the beginning. You're not! After 3 epidural injections and no script for physical therapy when asked for one, that they do
Not want you to return to normal but to their surgeons for further evaluation.

These comments may seem drastic and scary but very true of the experience I have
Had with these physicians. Neither Voorhees or Camden will make your troubles
Go away. I hope this comment made by me will help someone else who is in pain
And looking for help.

Terrible
March 11, 2022

I went to see a doctor about two months ago who prescribed an MRI. Couldn't get an appointment for two months. As it turns out, the day I was supposed to go there was a snowstorm and, since I', a senior citizen, I called to reschedule. Well that will take another two or three months. I told her to forget it and that I would find another doctor.

Twice now my bill has been screwed up. They are trying to collect more than insurance says they should be. First time 1 hour on hold and had talked to a person who saw the screw up and said he fixed it. Second appt was just last month, same screw up, and I just spent 90 minutes on hold to be sent to a "help desk" that could be no help other than taking my name and number. This is ridiculous, I am not the one screwing up and maybe should get some compensation for my wasted time. So now I wait to see if somebody actually calls me. The entire call in system is a cluster... wait on hold for anything. Gotta love waiting on hold for 30 minutes to get an appointment when sick. Been to 4 Drs this year and this is the only one that can't seem to figure out the insurance processing. The only reason I gave the stars I did was because I really like my Dr and wish he would go elsewhere.

Worse ER experience ever. For a time they could not locate my mother who has advanced Alzheimer's. Then attempted to transport her to wrong address. When finally returned was still bloodied and in need of clean up. Many times calls to find out information were disconnected. Some one as compromised as this should have been allowed a person to come in with the patient irregardless of Covid. How can care be given when she can not speak for herself. A scared, anxious, confused, and irrational woman was alone for over 12 hours. It is a disgrace.

"Buyer (patient) beware"!
September 1, 2021

My husband had a 2 view chest x-ray done at Cooper facility on Kings Highway. Charge for this study at cempetitor freestanding facilities in the area is $99.00. Cooper charge for this x-ray is $634.00.
I learned after the fact that Cooper does offer this study for uninsured or cash paying patients at $99.00 or at least that's what their cost estimator indicates, but would not extend the same courtesy for insured patients. I understand carrier contract obligations but I would be glad not to use my insurance and pay cash had I known upfront what my cost would be. I definitely did not expect to pay $634.00. I've called numerous times and left numerous messages for the managers at their billing company to date none has returned my calls.
Whenever possible, please do your homework and ask for their fees upfront. This will allow for an informed decision whether to proceed or seek more reasonable option elsewhere. It will definitely save you some aggravation when opening their invoice.

Cardiac mri
August 19, 2021

I scheduled a cardiac mri 7/8.the patient registration valet are very nice, the people at the desk in the waiting area very nice the techs doing the MRI are nice. They tried getting a vein for the needle to put the dye in during the test, my veins are tough they got the are she tried unable, the iv team was unable to come and help they were all backed up.on problem had to reschedule for 7/22 the iv team got the needle in for the iv dye, had the test done, l thanked everyone never met the Dr that had to do the test. L got a call from copper to say l had to schedule a test to be redone with the iv team to come again! To find out the Dr that did my test called my Dr that the test was not done right.the person that called me made the appointment for 8/*******@10:30am, so here l go coming up for the 3rd time not my fault for the one and only test ordered. L get to patient registration on the, 17th only to find out their was no appointment for me, no one in x-ray knew l was coming so apparently the person that called me to schedule the appointment never put it in the computer. L go to the Camden campass, so low and behold l have to come back for the 4th time. L called to reschedule the test to find out l need a new script, why when you guys messed the test up and charge my insurance for the do over of the same test? As to say l am not happy to travel one way 30 to45 minutes for the 4th time! L am sure you are a good hospital but it makes me think due l have to come back for a 5th time if this test gets done on the 4thtrip? It will give me second thoughts if l need to be admitted for a procedure or surgery, as it would make me think l would have to come back 4times for that! Thank you for your time.

Am writing this review because I am appalled at how the guest services At Cooper Hospital treat outsiders especially people of Religious backgrounds Pastors, Chaplains, anyone with that has to do with Religion gets treated like crap yes I said it last time I checked we are all free. How dare these people not let The Chaplain that was to pray for my co-workers son before surgery this morning and the mom informed them yesterday that the Chaplain was coming this morning and still the Woman at the front took it upon her self to be RUDE and not let her go up even with the young men's father standing there she would not let the Chaplain up i am very very APPALLED at the way these that this HOSPITAL allows their employees treat people especially the Spiritual Ones that are called by the patients or their family and they get treated this way wow this Hospital may have a reputation of begin a good hospital but not in GOOD IN CUSTOMER SERVICE.

Doctor complaint
July 15, 2021

On March 27,2021 I had a appointment to see a doctor for serious problems with my lower back. This was my last resort since i had 5 previous surgeons doing work on my back. The last on May 28,2021 at COOPER. Had exrays done on March 27, i later found out they had NOBODY that could read the exrays. When I finally got to see the doctor, I was told that he was retiring in 4 days & will have to get another doctor. He gave me 2 choices. Live with the pain or get ANOTHER SURGERY. I cannot find a doctor that is doing another surgery correctly. For this reason & others & I will carefully look for another surgeon but NOT at Cooper.

Thank you!
July 13, 2021

I just want to thank Cooper for saving my life. In February 2021 I was running 104-105 fevers hard time breathing. I did get tested at a local urgent care and I was tested positive for covid. After weeks of fever continuing to elevate and hard time breathing my husband called 911 and I was taken to Springfield hospital in Delaware county (this is where I live) after being in the er for 10 minutes, the Doctor said there is nothing they can do and sent me home. No test were performed at all. No inhaler, nothing. Instead I was giving a script for lorazepam. I get home, fever went to 105. My husband took me to Cooper, in Er I received multiple tests including a CT SCAN. This test shows both my lungs were full of Covid-pneumonia. I received oxygen, Iv antibiotics and was admitted for a week. If it wasn't for Cooper, I would not be here. Thanks you Cooper

Disappointed
June 7, 2021

This has been my sons 3rd surgery In cooper the first 2 times the nurses where great, very helpful and if they didn't know the answer they would definitely come back with it. Now this time around I decided to keep the information that I am
Employee of cooper and what a disappointment my son had a ileostomy reversal they put him on Pavilion floor 6 the treatment and the compassion for the patients went out the door. Nobody could give me answers of anything that was asked I went to get him a ice bag asked where the machine was and he said I'll get it for you 2 hours later still waiting on the ice bag! Looked outside of the room they are all giggling and joking around at the front desk 3rd time hospitalized and there is still no hot water in the showers! I asked they said they would take care of it not nothing happened! He has been there since Thursday In pain vomiting imaging not being able to atleast feel relief of taking a shower! Called more then a couple of times to speak with the head nurse or his nurse and everytime I left a message I never got a call back. Missy so disappointed, sad and aggravated that I feel
That I have to show them that I am a employee there for them to treat my son how they are supporting treat any patient!
