ConsumerLab.com provides independent test results, reviews, ratings and comparisons of vitamins, supplements, herb and nutrition products to consumers and healthcare providers.
ConsumerLab enjoys a strong reputation among its users, who appreciate the unbiased, detailed information it provides on supplements and health products. Customers frequently highlight the site’s thorough research and reliable testing, which empowers them to make informed decisions about their health. However, some users express frustration with the frequency of email updates and recent login issues related to cookie settings. Additionally, there are requests for broader product reviews, particularly from popular retailers. Overall, while the service is highly valued for its quality and reliability, there are areas for improvement in user experience and communication.

Love that they do their own testing. Have found many products that were virtually useless and other products that were what they were supposed to be. Always check here for info on virtually any health products.
I NEVER use any supplements that ConsumerLab hasn't tested and until I read their very thorough reviews of the pertinent literature. Thanks to CL, I have been able to fine tune my supplement regimen to include only those from which I am convinced that I will derive benefit. I have recommended their site to my physician and to friends. My subscription is some of the best money I've ever spent.
We're glad that you enjoy ConsumerLab.com. Thank you for posting your comments.
I've been subscribing to ConsumerLab for many years now and continue to find it a very helpful resource that I use daily in my practice.
Thank you for that nice feedback, Chris!
I can always count on accurate and up to date information on my questions and research
A fantastic resource and I recommend this site to family and friends on a regular basis
Thank you very much for sharing that, Irene. We are very glad that you appreciate the work we are doing. We appreciate your support.
I rely on ConsumerLab. I just wish they also tested prescription drugs!
Thank you for your feedback, Stephanie!
This is a "must" site. Over the years, I've found 3 brands of different supplements I'd been buying regularly got a "Not Approved" on Consumer Lab. I was really surprised - the brands were Dr Weil, Whole Foods house brand, and some other costly resveratrol. They don't always list the stuff I get, but it's satisfying to see when your stuff gets their "Approved" label.
Thank you for that nice review, Mike. We're glad that you appreciate our work. Thanks for your support.
ConsumerLabs is my go-to site for information about vitamins, minerals, and supplements. It's robust in information, easy to navigate, and gives me much more confidence in deciding what to take and what not to take.
Thank you for that nice feedback, Loring!
I've been using consumer lab for years now to help me navigate the choices I have to make about what supplements would be helpful to me, and which of the many offerings are the best and most affordable. Thank you for the work you do.
We're glad to have you as a member, Clay! Thanks for your review.
Consumer In a world of fake news and alternate facts, I can always rely on Consumer Labs for scientifically accurate facts and reviews of products.
We're glad to hear that ConsumerLab.com is helpful to you, Freya. Thank you for your feedback.
In this age of no accountability for what you put in your mouth it is reassuring to have a site where science reigns and products are tested for the content they claim to provide. They can't test all products in a category but do enough to give me a choice.
We're glad that you enjoy ConsumerLab.com. Thank you for posting your comments.
I have used the Consumerlab site for years when searching for non-biased, void of sales motive, information. The convenience of the search box, where you enter any ailment or supplement, which takes you directly to the information you need is effortless. I don't have time to make sense of lengthy published studies, so very much appreciate the work done for you in summarizing the results of those studies. I also appreciate the fair synopsis added about the reliability of certain studies. I've recommended this site to many people in the health and wellness fields of work as well as friends. They all respond later with a thank you.
Thank you for that nice review, Matt. We're glad that you appreciate our work. Thanks for your support.
I am a graduate student, ie - I'm poor. I get paid for working weekends. The rest of the time, I work for free. Internships.
Thank you very much for sharing that, Bill. We are very glad that you appreciate the work we are doing. We appreciate your support.
Consumer Lab has verified or warned against ingredients and contaminants in so many things people consume without knowing of their dangers... or their specific values. Because of my ability to check first with ConsumerLabs, I feel confident in what and why I buy. I have shared some reviews with physicians, who do not have time or access to this detailed info. They have been grateful for the education. Thanks for years of conscientious testing and information.
We're glad to hear that ConsumerLab.com is helpful to you, Robyn. Thank you for spreading the word and thanks for your feedback!
My experience with this site has been excellent in every respect. Not only are individual products analyzed, but detailed, comprehensive information is given about each nutrient.
Thank you for that nice feedback, Victor!
I enjoy this website and the information it provides. I use it extensively to research supplements and new findings! Don't know what I did before this other than rely on manufacturer labels and literature.
Thank you for that nice review, Belinda. We're glad that you appreciate our work. Thanks for your support.
Very good so far. Most questions I have are answered thoroughly. However, I would like to see some testing done on OTC meds and supplements that are made in countries other than the USA.
We're glad to have you as a member, Linda! Thanks for your review. You can always feel free, as can any member, to shoot us suggestions on products you would like to see tested.
CL provides crucial evidence-based information. I don't purchase supplements without first consulting CL. It provides the science behind the claims and separates fact from fiction. It provides information on the best dosage unit, warnings about overuse, and whether a product is priced correctly. It allows me to compare "apples to apples" in serving size, ingredients, and cost. It alerts me to contaminated products and those that don't have the listed amount of key ingredients. I depend on CL several times per week, and more frequently when there is a health crisis (or pandemic!) for guidance. The information is up to date and verified by URAC. I am a healthcare provider and I use CL reviews in recommending supplements to clients. In short, I LOVE CL!
Thank you for that amazing review, Elizabeth. We're glad that you appreciate our work. Thanks for your support!
Good evidence-based reasons for supplements. Hard to find this info anywhere else.
Thanks for letting us know, Michael. That's exactly why we are here.
Nothing I enjoy more except reading about my yankees. You guys are the best. My wish is that medical terminology would be followed by a simple explanation so I wouldn't. Have to go to the dictionary and lose my train of thought. Am getting older and those memory pills as you have pointed out aren't cutting it.
Thank you, Richard B. We're glad that you are enjoying CL!
Objective knowledge is very valuable when deciding on which brand of a certain supplement to purchase over a different brand. I have found Consumerlab to be indispensable over the last few years because of the accurate information provided to members.
Thanks David. We're glad that you are enjoying your ConsumerLab membership!

Answer: There is no single best supplement or brand. It's best to focus on the type of supplement you are looking for, e.g., multivitamin, fish oil, probiotic, herbal) and read our Product Review for that specific category and see which product is our Top Pick for that category. Here is a list of our current reports: https://www.consumerlab.com/results/
Answer: Yes, we recently published a new report on turmeric and curcumin supplements as well as turmeric spice (ground root powders) at https://www.consumerlab.com/reviews/turmeric-curcumin-supplements-spice-review/turmeric/
