CONSTRUCTION GEAR RULES!

SeparatelyI ordered 2 pair of $#*!ie black jeans & a jacket for my husband (separately). When I checked on the tracking of the jeans, first it said they had shipped. Next day I checked again to see where they were & I got an "oops we can find your order #" message. I was confused, so I emailed you all & apparently it was a glitch somewhere. The customer service person that wrote me back said that she was showing it was shipped. I checked again & it was. The 3 items I ordered came on the same day which was GREAT! They fit perfectly as well & he's happy!
Thank you VERY MUCH for the quality clothing, EXCELLENT PRICES & fast shipping! We will definitely be shopping w/you again!

Terrible online seller.

Purchased an item from Constructiongear.com and selected their economy shipping. Two and a half weeks later, I received an email that I had received a credit in amount of original purchase. I called customer service, waited 15 mins to talk to someone and was simply informed that the item was not available ("was discontinued by Carthartt"). Had I not called, I wouldnt even have had this bogus explanation. Not offered any compensation for my time or frustration. Hung up and purchased the exact item from another site. Will not purchase again from this seller. They are advertising items they do not have, and do not stand behind their sales.

I purchased the all-weather socks from Wigwam, wool socks from Carhartt, and the Carhartt gloves. All were true to size and durable. The gloves by far were the best for the cost. I drive a school bus for a living and often the truck takes a while to warm up during the winter months of the early northern Illinois mornings. My feet and hands stay warm and dry as I am in and out during vehicle checks and loading wheelchairs.

I had a pair of boots I needed to return and want to replace them the ones I received were defective after 3 times ordering every time the ones I ordered were out of stock finally the 4th pair that had in stock I understood I had to oat a little more so I authorizedfhdm fo tske 29.99 and they took 107.00 I have had so much trouble in my life with any company I would never tell any one to go to them that's all I guess chalk it up to one and last time with that company I don't need this agrvatiom and all it was I am done with them Linda russell

I ordered a pair of work boots and it said it would ship in 2 to 3 business days. Well, that did not happen. I called customer service to check the status of my and they said that they will be 'drop shipped' from another warehouse. Well, thanks. I could've went a few miles down the road to get a pair of boots. I might have paid a little more for them, but atleast I would have had them instead of them creating fun and cool new ways for consumers to pay for something and ot still not be processed for another 2 weeks. They should only charge your account on the day it ships and not 2 weeks before it is even processed!. It literally only took 2 minutes for them to get their money, while their customers have to wait 2 to 3 weeks ro get their purchase!

Ordered an item on the 14th of February. Order was processed on the 17th of February and the money was taken out of my account. Item never showed up. Called them March 6th to ask about the status of my order. She tells me that the order had been cancelled due to it being "out of stock." (Why wasn't I informed of this?). She apologizes and says that they will issue me a complete refund. Call them back March 9th to check the status of my refund. She tells me that they have not gotten to it yet and that it will take 24 hours to process. Call back on March 11th. She says that they are behind and that it will now take 3-5 business days to receive a refund...

I called customer service 17 days after I had purchased this item. During those 17 days I never received any phone call or e-mail telling me about the cancellation of my order. I wonder how long they were planning on waiting to tell me about this...

Why wasn't I contacted by Construction Gear about the fact that my order had been cancelled? Why didn't the website state that the item was out of stock to begin with? Why did they process the order and take the money out of my account even though they did not have it? Why is it taking so long to get MY money back?

0/10 will never order from this website again! Still waiting to get my money back. I know they told me that they were behind on orders/refunds but this is ridiculous!

Awful, awful, awful.

I have the same situation as Michelle.
I have spoken to Tina in customer service twice and she is unable to comprehend that I have not received what I ordered. I have sent emails and received a response after one week that does not address the questions in my emails. No manager has called me back despite three emails requesting this. You can't get to speak to a manager when you call them. Today I received an email telling me three items I returned 3 weeks ago in their prepaid packaging/label (I had ordered 7 items of which only 3 showed up and were smaller than advertised) have not been processed. Why? NEVER EVER EVER BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS INCOMPETENT COMPANY

I am still waiting for a refund on boots I shipped back 9 weeks ago! I took the package to the post office with the return label I printed from construction gear's website. However nothing has happened. They tell me they haven't received the package. I called and I was told they would issue a refund while they investigate the location of my package. I even had them email me saying that they said this. However, still nothing! I emailed them and I just keep getting a run around. 9 weeks later I have no boots and I'm out $130 and I don't know if I will ever get my money back...

What is wrong with this company? If any other online retailer took this long to ship your order, they would be closing up shop in no time. I ordered some safety glasses and gloves; it's been 23 days and still have not received them. They emailed me saying that 1 of my items is backordered and asked if I would like the other items. What a stupid question, OF COURSE I WANT MY ITEMS! They have great prices and that is why I shop there, but I didn't realize it takes months to get anything. It shouldn't take a month just to get safety glasses and gloves!

Ordered a pair of blaklader work pants. The website said they were in stock, 2 weeks later they are on backorder! A week and a half ago they arrived at their wearhouse and they would take 4 days to show up. Still waiting! Why the eff would I order pants that are out of stock? Do not order anything from this website unless you want to wait for 4 weeks to get it!

Terrible company to deal with. I paid extra for 3 day shipping for xmas. Ordered on the 15th and still nothing. When I called they had no information for me and would not cancel the order... I am calling the bbb and my bank. Do not order from them... Horrible

I ordered a pair of pants on Jan 13th. They arrived Jan 20th. They were too tight so I sent them back the very next day, Jan 21st, to exchange for the next bigger size. Two weeks went by and I never got any kind of email confirmation that they had sent the new ones or anything. I had sent 2 emails in the meantime to their customer service asking about the order. I have yet to get any response to either of these emails. I called on Feb 3 (2 wks after I sent them back). I was told they had just processed them and it could take up to 2 wks to send out the next pair. It has now been 2 more weeks and I still have no pants. It has been 5 weeks.

I ordered a pair of gloves for my husband for Christmas. It is now January 31, and I have made 4 or 5 calls to them looking for the gloves. Every time I called they would give me a new delivery date. The date would come and go, no gloves. I call again, new date. Never apologizing for the inconvenience. I would have given them a "MEH", but having read all of the other reviews, I have come to the conclusion that NO ONE SHOULD WASTE THEIR TIME TRYING TO GET SOMETHING FROM THEM... ESPECIALLY IF IT IS A GIFT!

I placed an order on 19 December for a pair of Carhartt gloves and received free shipping. I received a conformation e-mail on the same day that listed the status as "Pending Shipping." Today, on 3 January, the status is the same and I have received no response to my e-mail requesting a status. A phone call to the toll-free number resulted in a response that the item had left the warehouse and should be shipped.

Place an order for a pair of Carhartt boots and was charged at the beginning of november was told not in stock like every other review was told. Took 41/2 weeks to show. Size didn't fit. Waited 8 days for return authorization. Shipped boots back in which the received on Dec. 16th and still haven't received credit i will be calling most likely in an unfriendly tone tomorrow morning... i wouldn't recommend this site to a packer fan... Go Bears!

I just had a terrible experience with this website to the point I reported them to BBB. I placed an order on December 6th, received an email confirmation of my order stating it was in process on December 7th and my account was charged on December 8th. I checked the status on the 10th and noticed it had not been updated. When I called I was told exactly what the online status stated... in process and was reassured I would receive it by Christmas. The following week I sent a total of 3 emails checking my status with no response. I called again on December 17th and was informed my order was processed on the 13th, shipped out on the 14th and should receive it no later than that evening. I gave them until the 20th and still had not received it. When I called them on the 21st I was informed that the item I order did not exist and would not be backordered and when I mentioned about a refund was told it would happen within 48 hours. Still waiting!
