I just received an order and this time, sending them back - I guess I ordered the wide elastic band knee hose, as I haven't been successful in ordering the 1" elastic recently. Web site is too busy, not user friendly...ordered earlier this month and will have to return item from Jobst. It obviously was not clear that what I ordered was opaque and not sheer.

Sadly, medicare insurance does not deem these to be of medical necessity and therefore they are an out of pocket expense. With the physician requiring the purchase of 4 pair every 4-6 months to maintain good vascular health it is very costly. So many individuals with this illness are struggling with many other medical needs and for them they also have to choose between health, heat and hunger. Your site has allowed us to save some, but it still is a great expense. Thank you for the discount you do offer.

I appreciated the live chat. I am still confused as to why the sheer knee high Jobst hose don't consider the measurement of the calf and ankle, instead just going by shoe size. I'll hope that they are the right size when I get them. I would appreciate a taupe color in the sheer knee high Jobst hose, something that looks a little more drab than the silky beige. But i do appreciate the sheerness of the hose! Thanks!
