Working from home is great, assuming you have working Internet. On the Monday before Thanksgiving my Internet went out, but don't worry, they could have a tech out Wednesday at the soonest. Delayed travel plans and then by some miracle the connection came back, so cancelled the appointment and went back to my original travel plans. Now today two weeks later, out again intermittently and working at less than half the speed I pay for. But they do have an appointment window tomorrow so I don't have to be out over two full days. Plus got free troubleshooting calls where they seemed excited I wasn't completely down and were shocked that I knew how to interpret indicator lights on a modem that indicate a cabling issue. A 22 year IT career hasn't been a waste, I understand blinky lights.

I've given it a lot of thought and I think the main reason I've stuck with Comcast after moving and having the option to switch is because I make a lot of bad life choices. I also spend very little time frustrated and angry, so having the Internet out and making my work and hobbies slower and more annoying helps me get in touch with my inner rage.

ROBBERY

Comcast has isolated my area so I can deal with anyone else! Every month there's a hidden fee and, and equipment on your bill you don't have. Not to mention the service fees they charge you for fixing there mistakes. My fault they claim they fixed they never do. You speak with someone they tell you they can't do anything for you. I have documented notes and ticket numbers and they basically told me fk you we can't help you. This has went on for a year. We are just paycheck for them. I'm getting a lawyer! I know if I'm being mistreated this way, their are probably thousands more.
Somebody needs to stand up for the little guys and I'm going to!

Poor customer service

Called the number for.and they gave me the running around from # to #.and here we are dec 4th,been waiting since nov 30th.no service for 4 days.and we also went to the office in lesburg fl.and they take your # and wait for one/two hrs.this is uncalled for.if it wasent for us/customers/they will not be a comcast.this company just to be so promted with services.and the person that we get on the phone can even speak well inglish

I highly recommend not to purchase comcast xfinity services for Internet and mobile. The customer team is irresponsible and they will promise something and will return nothing. They promise that they will provide all communication and return call. But nothing happen. If you are planning for this service, ready to get frustrated and be ready to spend for your medical bills. Don't even recommend this service in any form (mobile/internet/voice etc ;) your family and friends as they will start hate yourself as well. Not seeing 0 Stars

Consumer beware

Ive been trying to disconnect my account for 5 months they keep on saying its disconnected and i keep on getting bills for this account after 5 months of calling now they are saying i still have to pay for the 5 moths that werent being used and to disconnect i have to sign a document

Fabulous!

I had a problem with my cell.phone. It had been going on for months, I didn't have time to call and thought it would resolve itself. I spoke with Katrina, Mel and Robert. The were EXCELLENT!. My issue was mostly resolved. They were super friendly and most of all...not robotic. I hate that. Kudos to you!

Unreliable Service

Comcast used to be known for their reliable and fast internet and cable. Now smaller start up companies are snaking their way in easily thanks to Comcast's service being incredibly unreliable. They will be losing more and more large accounts from communities as their contracts expire. Comcast's speeds are no longer competitive. There are many times a week that I think Dial-Up would be faster and more reliable. Its impossible to even stream tv at night now even with nothing else in the house taking from the bandwidths. Its pathetic.

If I could give a zero, I would. I called to ask about their internet plans because the website was glitchy and I thought it would be faster. It started off not great when I repeated my name multiple times to the representative, and he tried to tell me what my name actually was. Then, when I would ask for clarification questions (as I am not the most tech-savvy and needed certain things explained as to what it is), he would let his frustration be very clearly known. Despite all of this, I still was not too bothered. However, once I received the information I needed and tried to end the call with "thank you. I'm going to talk this over with my roommates to decide on what plan we want" he began to get very hostile. He asked me why I wasn't signing up right now, and I, very calmly, said, "oh, I just wanted to talk it over with my roommates as a common courtesy." and then he snapped, "so you were just wasting my time." I was a bit taken aback by his hostility but still remained polite. "No. I just wanted to know about your plans so I could make an informed decision and to figure out with the roommates what we would be purchasing." and this man goes, "No. You were just trying to waste my time. It's not my job to tell you about the product." Like, sir, you are literally working at a customer service call center for Century Link under the "discuss internet plans" option. This is your job. I spent 5 minutes trying to tell you I needed to discuss this with my roommates and hang up, while you repeatedly ignored what I was saying and instead told me I don't need to talk with them. And while he was doing that, I put him on speaker so that the roommate was there with me could hear the bs this man spouted. After a few minutes of listening to him give me a tongue lashing, she stepped in to ask his name and to warn him this behavior was not okay, and he. Went. Off. "oh what are you going to do?" Eventually, we hung up on him as there is no use arguing with a swine. In conclusion, thanks for wasting my time, Spiden.

If I could give a 0 I would since they know the AT&T in my area don't have the high speed services I need for my small business well they are controlling my business when made a call to take out the tv service that I am paying like 60 dollars xtra on my bill they told me that Comcast doesn't like to take things off to take it or leave it this is unbelievable that in the USA something like this happens it me feel that I no longer live in a free country.

Not what it used to be

I subscribed to only Comcast internet a few years ago so that I could get away from high cost Cable & Satellite Tv. Picture quality and connection was great for a few years unfortunately Comcast has slowed down the internet and we get a lot of buffering and picture stoppage while watching Tv now. We already pay close to $90 a month and now they want more for a better package to get what I once had. Looking into T Mobile internet & will be saying good bye to greedy Comcast

Whenever I call Comcast or Xfinity, it's worthless. They have menus and artificial intelligence that tries to guide you through their system. But whenever I call you something outside of the Scripps. Therefore, I can never get help from these guys. They might have a good service for television and Internet, but their customer support is the biggest suck job on the planet.

Whatever you DO DONOT waist your money pure garbage. I am constantly having to reset the modem everyday atleast twice a day. It took the Tech four days to get the system up it has yet to be running properly. AT&T is no better I left them and came to Comcast still looking.

Comcast definitely needs to fire most of the employees and get new ones. The only good thing I can say is that I did talk to 1 employee that was nice and helpful. 1 Man in Corporate that was very kind. The rest of them rude employees think it's funny to disconnect your call when you finally get through.The service is terrible. My internet service never has worked properly. 20 plus year customer and they do not value your loyalty. I should have dropped them many years ago. The guy who hooked it up was on a ladder by my window talking to himself saying "Well fu** me" because he had a little work to do. I was laughing at him. I swear he never fixed the problem with the wires. I was his last call of the day and he wanted to go home early. DO YOURSELVES A FAVOR AND FIND ANOTHER SERVICE. US CUSTOMERS DESERVE MUCH BETTER THAN A CRAPPY COMCAST/ XFINITY COMPANY. My rating for them is a big fat ZERO.

I had an item on my bill I didn't understand. It was a 10 second question but it required a real person to explain it. I spent 15 minutes on the phone trying to jump over all the hoops comcast has designed to keep you from talking to a real person. Total phone call 15 minutes 10 seconds. Worst customer service EVER.

Less than Zero Stars!

I wish I could give zero stars! After hours of trying to push through prompts to get a real person, and multiple phone calls; I was told that xfinity took too much money out on my autodraft payment because the autopay was set up for that amount. I had been paying $20+ less for the last two years, and the autodraft had no problem adjusting to take the $20+ higher amount when the promotion had ended; however, it failed to re-adjust back to the lower amount when I began a new promotion on October 12th. I explained that the autodraft was not set up with my bank. It was set up with xfinity, using their xfinity autopay option. The final insult was that I was told "for my INCONVENIENCE" xfinity was going to CREDIT the $26 back to my bank account in 48 hours. To REWARD me for my INCONVENIENCE, xfinity was going to give me back what it illegally took out of my bank account! I am not feeling rewarded! They are so incredibly horrible! Someone would be very wealthy if they provided internet, and television service that worked, and had real customer service. They, like other technology I have paid astronomical amounts for, are insanely frustrating. I am seriously looking for anyone who can please provide a service, and actual customer care.

Company Officials telling lies about their internet causing undo stress and wasted valuable time. Officials stressed my internet would not longer function without using their cable modem. This was not true. Officials also stated this would be no cost in using their cable modem. This was not true as well.

The worst nightmare!

Comcast is the worst nightmare anybody could have the internet is super slow with ripoff cost whopping over $120.00 just for Internet alone!
If you call to complain, they lie to you with this words " we already increased your speed for over 100 Mbps but when you test it is less than 10 Mbps" total scam I don't know why the state of California don't do anything about these wrong doing business practices?!?!

Worst company ever

It take 20 minutes of nonsense to get someone on the phone and when you do they know nothing, They put you on hold for long wait times. You can never figure out what your service is and how much you should be charged, Stay away from this company!
