I placed an order and until I actually received part of it had no idea that the other item was sold out. Only when I actually called Collections and asked about whether it was coming in a separate package did I find out it was sold out. The person I spoke with offered no apology for my not being notified but just said "well these things can happen". That is the most horrific customer service response. I should have been informed at the latest when my order shipped that the out of stock item was actually "out of stock". I shouldn't have had to call and inquire about it to find that out.
I received two days prior to expected to arrive.
No problems
Other than a computer issue which caused a duplicate order, my request to cancel one of the orders was eventually resolved. Now I'm only waiting for the order which I did want to arrive. Overall, I have been very satisfied with the quality and prices of Collections Etc.'s merchandise.
