Collections Etc. has a funny way of duplicating orders, then blaming you. Or your browser. Or anyone but themselves. Here's what I've learned the hard way: 1. If they duplicate an order, do NOT refuse it. They will claim it never came back to them, and not issue you a refund. In fairness, my case their claim might actually be true - I tried to trace the package and found a good reason why it would have disappeared. Still, they would not budge or meet me halfway with anything else to compensate for their part in the problem. I'd refused the package because I knew if I didn't, they'd charge me shipping for their mistake. I have a second such situation, and I asked them not to deduct shipping charges from my refund; we'll see if they have the decency to not make me pay for their screwup. 2. If you get a confirmation number of "0", implying the order didn't go through, wait at least 24 hours before redoing the order. That's what they told me after the fact, anyway. I don't know if it would have worked, but I probably would have lost that day's discounts. If their customer service were as good as their prices and products, this would be a 5-star review, and you wouldn't be wondering why I gave them repeat business.
