These people are criminals, the manipulate the price of coins for financial gain based on watching what you buy, of course crypto currency is very volatile, but to watch what someone is buying, and manipulate the price based on that is criminal. These people get to do these things because of the huge amount of money they pay the government. This company is truly a scam!

Terrible customer service. They refused to answer simple questions and required that I provide unnecessary documentation.

Coinbase locked my account for no apparent reason without any notification or explanation whatsoever. Instructed to call customer service who can only tell me they've forwarded my questions and to expect a response within a week. Meanwhile, I can't contribute nor move my crypto off the exchange. BTC is nose-diving and Coinbase is obtuse and costing me money. Complete knuckleheads. Buyer beware! Better alternatives out there.

Deposited a substantial amount of money to purchase goods in South Africa. It is to a trusted source. On the phone 3 times with coinbase customer support, before and after wiring the money to my coinpurse wallet. After deposit, and as I go to transfer to bitcoin and then to South Africa, I was told that I could not transfer it for 45 days (or up to 60 or more days). This was something that customer support failed to mention as I was wiring money to them and organizing the transfer. The websites that mention Coinbase also fail to mention this. It is supposed to be somewhere in the multiple pages that we agree to in "the terms". Stay away from them, looking for an alternatives.

I invest $50,000 in ETH hoping to make money and I fund a project in coinbase wallet call Gamefi, since I was in Coinbase wallet I trust it, i really thought Coinbase was secure but they have this tab call brower in his set up that it make you thing that what ever its there it's check or working with coinbase, so that's how I transfer all my ETH to this project and everything was looking good my account was shoing the earning untill I want to withdral the system didn't let me so I e-mail coinbase and they said that that's not there responsability, so I'm relly looking for help I have contact this company fast fund group and has been two months and I'm still waiting. Buyer Beware! As an attorney and executive for a fortune 300 company, I am amazed this can happen. I was locked out of my account. I went through the verification process and submitted pictures of my drivers license. After several unsuccessful attempts I did a chat line. Zero help! There was literally no way to get my account verified. Luckily on the iPhone app I had a direct deposit back to my bank. Thus I immediately sold everything. They lost my money and my business because they have no way to work with you directly when their software will not work properly.

I could not get a transaction to work. The support I got was terrible. I made no progress with them. I ask to speak to a manager and they said they dont have managers for support. As soon as I can, I getting all my crypto out of that exchange.

Once you are hacked they will not give you access back to your account. They will just simply give you a run around each time. They will ask you to wait weeks on end to try the verification process yet again and each stage of the verification process takes weeks on end arbitrarily as a supposed security measure. Once you wait the months needed to complete their verification process you are given a blanket link giving possible reasons as to why you cant trade instead of a concrete reason and with no clear reason given or recourse you are forced to do the verification process yet again after they inevitably reject you.

Do not use this service. They dont send out emails or generally care about your account.

I regret being member at coinbase and storing funds. Policy changes which i couldnt opt out of required me to re verify my credentials. No matter what i do they wont accept my valid passport or IDs. Everything is automated and you keep running into digital brick walls. I have deposited fund years ago and there is no way for me yo retrieve them. Support is non existent. If you manage to talk to a human you will only receive cut and paste replies. Thanks for taking my money and then close the doors

Someone stole money from my Coinbase account. I noticed my account going down so l got locked my account. I was unable to contact Coinbase but then I decided to make a new account. I was then able to contact coinbase but they didn't want to reimburse me. However, Robinhood did. They also never sent an authentic code to my email. They don't help you because they don't take any responsibility for fraud. If you experience fraud coinbase will tell you to report it to police but you will never see your money again. Do not put any money in here. It will be your worst nightmare

After investing a large sum of money in the stock market, I was scammed by this notorious broker known for shady practices. Every time I tried to withdraw my funds, they would give me silly excuses and delay tactics. I became desperate to get my money back, so I decided to seek help from a financial recovery firm. I've been trying to close my account for three days. They keep giving me the run around, making excuses for this and that. How hard is it to close an account? They make it super difficult and are not helpful. I'm tired of this app and want to be done with it. I don't recommend anyone use this app. I'm still waiting for them to close my account

If you invest in crypto using Coinbase, be sure that you do not get married, move, change phone numbers, or have any change in appearance. If you do, you will never get ANY of your investment back. Instead, they will ask to verify your identity. This process means that you must give away personal information and submit to have your computer camera view you. However, this will not be enough. An hour later, they will send you an email stating that verification failed without providing a reason for the failure. If you are lucky enough to have verification confirmed, try getting your funds converted to US dollars and withdrawing. They will send you through the verification process again and this time you will fail. OVER and OVER again until you literally give up on what, for me, was thousands of dollars!

As I read in many reviews I had the same experience. I was not able to withdraw my money and there's no customer service whatsoever. The only one to communicate with in the house is to chat with a dummy...!

In April 2023 I deposited $6800 to buy crypto(btc) and invest on this scammer platform. I was told to wait 15 business days before withdrawing. On May 2nd I decided to withdraw my funds and there was an error. I reached out to customer service to get help. They said i have to pay 28% for tax and accrued fees. I sent it in.I try to withdraw again and they freeze my account i can't access my wallet and money. I wrote them no less than five times asking for an update in the status and they never responded.
I couldn't stay doing nothing so i reported to my husband's sister working at the sec, they confirmed Coinbase is unregulated. She directed me to private forensic investigators, (EDGE TOP HUB DIGITAL)
I immediately sent a message to them at, they were swift and professional in their work to trace my money to the wallets the scammers had hidden them, and they helped me retrieve it all in eleven days. Do not make the mistake i made! Don't do any sort of business with these scammers.

It was a great site at first. I never had a problem with Coinbase until now. They kicked me off of their platform without telling me the reason. They said I violated or broke one of their guidelines and then told me they could not tell me why. So, I can't see if I had money in my account and they aren't giving me any answers. I will be getting me a lawyer. Idc!

I've had Coinbase for four years. All I did was deposit, twice cashed out because I had to, and sent btc to a software wallet. Log on Thursday. ACCOUNT CLOSED. Called. Got some lady who I couldn't understand who kept saying check your email. I did to an account closed letter. I told her that's why I'm calling. She just keeps saying read the letter over and over. Rude. Amazing. I'm still depressed, and will never do anything with coinbase ever again. I'm getting my friends to leave coinbase.
