Rude people, loud fireworks and a hillbilly mentality. Ignorant, lots of drinking, redneck town with little to do but get into everyone else's business.
Great place to drive through and sight see in the mountains around the town on your way some place else. Do not buy or rent here, however, unless you want deal with locals who harass those they feel don't fit in... and there are a lot of locals that do this sort of thing. If you buy in town good luck selling your house and good luck getting Law Enforcement to help you. Lots of Dueling Banjo types...
